A
fabulous
view,
warm
hospitality,
and
truly
clean
and
well-kept
accommodations
are
all
hallmarks
of
the
Nile
View
Guesthouse
Aswan
experience.
Mustafa
and
Ahmed
make
sure
that
all
your
needs
are
accommodated,
while
also
sharing
their
pride
in
their
Nubian
community
on
the
island.
We
really
enjoyed
the
generous
and
delicious
daily
breakfasts,
and
were
very
pleased
with
the
very
fairly
priced
laundry
services
that
we
used.
We
found
it
very
easy
to
make
arrangements
with
the
staff
for
boat
pick
ups
and
deliveries
adjacent
to
the
property.
We
took
frequent
advantage
of
the
proximity
of
the
Kafana
restaurant
right
next-door
to
the
Nile
View
guest
house,
finding
it
great
for
both
dinners
and
morning
coffee.
It's
about
a
10
minute
walk
from
the
public
ferry
across
one
of
the
villages
to
get
to
the
guesthouse,
giving
you
a
chance
to
stop
at
one
or
two
local
shops
for
needed
supplies
and
an
opportunity
to
interact
with
local
residents.
The
ferry
itself
is
cheap,
fast,
and
frequent.
You
never
know
whether
you'll
be
sharing
space
with
just
other
people,
or
produce
and
eggs
coming
from
the
island
and
appliances
and
convenience
store
supplies
heading
over
there.
Be
sure
to
pay
attention
to
the
local
conventions
of
men
sitting
in
one
part
of
the
boat
and
women
in
the
other.
I
highly
recommend
a
stay
at
the
Nile
View
Guesthouse
on
Elephantine
Island
as
a
comfortable
and
charming
way
to
ramp
up
your
Aswan
stay
to
far
more
than
the
typical
tourist
experience.
