Welcoming and caring host, I felt like I was visiting my favorite uncle. Extremely accommodating since my booking hours were a bit unconventional, 7am to 7pm. I got a delicious local breakfast, I was organized for a taxi to go and visit the Saqqarah Pyramids and I was prepared a beautiful early dinner before my departure. There are permanent guests that live there, it makes the overall atmosphere even more homely. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Definitely a place to visit again for a longer stay.

Without a doubt one of the best places to stay in Egypt. We went without a reservation and were welcomed with open arms. Mr. Seror is an excellent host. He helped organise transport to and from the pyramids and his family prepared one of the best dinners and breakfast I have ever had. The rooms were confortable and clean. We will visit again insha'Allah.

After a break of some time because of Corona, we were here again.: The place is wonderful. . The rooms are simple but comfortable. The owner (Ragab) has meanwhile installed air conditioning. The hotel is family but not intrusive. If you want to sit with the owner and other guests you are welcome, if you don't want , no one blames you. A big TV is available for the games of the Egyptian national team, sometimes people forget to turn it off. Ragab arranges for drivers to take the guest to the desired location in Giza or Cairo at reasonable prices. He also organizes viewings (e.g. pyramids of Djoser). Food and drinks are available at the hotel. The breakfast is very good Egyptian breakfast which varies a bit every day. lunch or dinner can be ordert if you like and then discuss what you want to eat and at what time. In addition to the small garden, the roof terrace and a lounge invite you to linger. From our room and from the terrace you could see the Neferirkare pyramid and other pyramids, which are only about 300 meters away.

Many thanks for taking care of me during my Cairo to Cape Town journey. I stayed at this lovely place for four days. Beautiful and quiet place, excellent food provided by the hosts. Highly recommended for motorcyclists as the guesthouse has a nice court yard to park your vehicles.

Factor in the price you pay, the area you're in and the absolutely fantastic hospitality of Ragab and his family and this place just cannot be beaten. It's right on the edge of the desert with some rooms that have Pyramid views. You have your own bathroom and shower in your room. The WiFi is spotty here and you also get the odd power cut (not Ragabs fault, it's like this is this area.), so best to download a local esim. Ragabs wife and family are super friendly and their hospitality is amazing. Ragabs wife serves big, healthy, freshly prepared meals which are delicious. I really recommend it.

Great place for trips to the pyramids in the Memphis area (Abu Sir, Saqqara, Dahshur) and a very helpful owner.
