We stayed in 2 bed/2 bath apartment for 2 nights. Abdul the owner and his team were wonderful and made our stay comfortable. They have arranged us taxis and boat transfers as well as provided all necessary info on local attractions. It is value for money and hassle free with such reliable host. Villa Kaslan was the best place where we’ve stayed while travelling in Egypt for 1 month. This amazing hospitality was possible thanks to the owner’s Abdul dedication and special attention for his guests because he lived in Europe and understands what europeans like. It felt like little paradise in the middle of chaotic Luxor as you stay in the middle of green fields, dine on the terrace with the view, swim in the fresh pool after visiting sites. Abdul organises everything for you: all sightseeing tours, boat trips, taxis, etc. and you pay honest local prices. By the way the food cooked by the chef there was the best we had in Egypt and you could also make special requests. Pretty soon this place will have even more rooms and we wish the owner all the best and good luck as he really deserves it! We would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

A great place to stay at Luxor. Owner offers a warm experience and assist you in your travel. Food was outstanding! The place offers a pleasant stay to rest and very nice view. Please note that location is somewhat far away from main attractions, and place requieres some maintenance.

Yvonne and her husband Abdelrahim made the day stay absolutely amazing, and it went above and beyond expectation. The staff were fantastic, attentive and great to chat to. The food was absolutely superb and there's a great range, the portions were very good, leaving you filled for a long time! There's tea, coffee, and fresh lime juice on tap (which by the way, was glorious). It was genuinely the best place I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location is on the quiet side just across the river, nice and peaceful and good for walking if you like that. You can also get a ferry over the river to see the sights. Yvonne has some great tips and printouts to help you get acquainted with the area, and it very informative. Communication was perfect too, everything in general was perfect. It was an absolute pleasure, thanks again guys :)

We had a truly wonderful time in Villa Kaslan. Yvonne, Abdelrahim and their staff are truly amazing. They make you feel like a prince and a princess. You immediately feel completely at ease since they are so nice and friendly. Ivonne can you really help with everything. She is so nice and such a wonderful host! She is from Swiss so she knows what ‘Western’ people want and she also knows that Egypt is sometimes a bit overwhelming (to arrange everything/bargaining/…). She does everything she can to take away these little annoyances (and stress) so you can truly enjoy the beauty of Egypt (and his very friendly people). We booked two bikes to visit all the temples and tombs. She gave a lot of information and valuable tips about what to visit when. The rooms have a very nice terrace (we had the top roof) with an amazing view over the banana fields and palm trees. You can watch a beautiful sunset and if you are lucky, you see hot air balloons flying over. The breakfast (and dinner) was delicious (and fresh and washed with ‘safe’ water). You can eat it in the little restaurant of it can be served on your own terrace. Villa Kaslan is located on the west bank which is much more peaceful and quite than the ‘hectic’ east bank of Luxor (and most of the temples and tombs are also on the west bank). A big thank you to everybody at Villa Kaslan, if we ever come back to Egypt, we definitely will stay again with you!

The owners are very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and so is the staff. They made our stay very pleasant, and offered very well priced taxi and boat service (since we were on the side of valley of the Kings as oppose to the other more developed side of the Nile). The apartment we stayed in was a bit dated but very cosy. They have a swimming pool and a nice outdoor area to soak up the sun or have tea. Food selection is quite good, too, as well as well priced. The owner also organised our trip to the airport, the driver was very punctual. If you are a dog or a cat person, there are both on premises, very lovely animals. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I had a very nice stay. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean with beautiful views over the fields around. Abdel the owner and his stuff were very attentive and made sure that I have a great stay. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinner. The food is delicious and portions are very generous. Beautifully presented villa run by a wonderful team This was easily our favourite place to stay during our entire trip along the Nile valley. Villa Kaslan arranged a very comfortable transfer for us from Aswan to Luxor, and the driver took us to visit two temples on the way. On arrival we found ourselves walking into a beautifully presented villa with an immaculate swimming pool and a delightful walled garden of flowers, fruit and vegetables, which housed the restaurant. We stayed in one of the two large studio units at the end of the garden. They came complete with kitchen, bathroom and a big wardrobe. The decor was modern, simple and stylish. The beds were large and comfortable with cosy duvets. The air conditioning worked well and the lighting was good. Each studio had their own veranda and roof terrace. The latter offered sweeping views over a banana plantation, a great place to sit and enjoy the sunsets. Do check out the pictures and videos on Google Maps as well as here.  
There was excellent fast Wi-Fi throughout the property.
We ate in the restaurant every evening. It is a roofed area open to the garden on two sides that can be closed off with cotton curtains if the breeze is a little cool. There are three large tables and they only cook for their guests. The menu offers a good range and the food is freshly prepared to order. The food is very high quality and it helps that you are eating it in a beautiful outdoor setting. The prices are very reasonable for both, food and drink, including wine and beer. For what we could see it was by far the best place to eat locally.
As for breakfast, it’s large and delicious, with omelette, salad, fresh fruit, falafel, cooked beans, local soft feta cheese, flat bread, yoghurt and cake.
But the best thing about Villa Kaslan is the owner Abdul and his crew. They really look after their guests and care about them. They are a close-knit team and one could sense that they all enjoyed working with each other. It makes Villa Kaslan a relaxed and friendly place to stay. The atmosphere is very much of a home shared rather than a more distant, formal hotel. The team became like friends and we were sad to leave them. Villa Kaslan organises trips to all the amazing cultural sights in and around Luxor, as well as wonderful trips to see the real Egypt of farming life in the Nile valley. If you need a taxi or boat transfer to anywhere they will fix it up, and all at fair, competitive prices. This took the stress out of our stay and allowed us to really enjoy exploring Luxor. We highly recommend Villa Kaslan as a truly special place to stay.

Amazing!! if you want to live at a farm house location in the fields enjoy the quietness and enjoy hospitality of amazing hosts, this is the place. we also enjoyed swimming pool. it was great relaxation after hours of site seeing in dusty mountains the villa, furniture, crockery everything was European standards. new neat clean special thanks to hosts. they were dedicated to help us and make sure we are comfortable. we were even in contact with Host one month before our trip and she was VERY VERY HELPFUL and replied to all our queries within seconds. Also thanks for AbdelRahim, the host, who him self attended us late at night both at check in and check out (we had late nigh flights) we got all trips from the Villa as they were very well organized and reasonable priced. my kids felt they were at their aunt house as they played around in the garden, ate what they wanted from restaurant and see the Host and their adorable dog SPOT.

The comfort and attentiveness of Villa Kaslan staff was beyond our expectations! We had an amazing stay; all well organised and taken care of (transfers; food) so we can enjoy our stay in Luxor to the fullest. Location of the Villa is very tranquil and beautiful surrounded by green fields. Owner Abdul was very genuine and professional. One of the staff members, Mohamed, went out of his way to show us the surroundings on his motorcycle and take us to the dessert to see the sunset. The only regret we have is that we stayed only two days - we wish we could have stayed there much longer. Definitely highly recommend staying at Villa Kaslan ✨🙏

The moment I met host Abdul, I felt like I had returned to a world where common sense prevails. Compared to many accommodations I have experienced in Egypt, the quality of service was overwhelming despite the low price. The clean and spacious rooms have a refrigerator, a kitchen, and an independent balcony. After seeing only the barren desert while sightseeing, the view full of plants was healing. Perhaps thanks to the surrounding plants, there was less sand and dust and the air was good. Breakfast is plentiful for $5 and can be eaten on the balcony attached to the room. I was lazy so I ordered food in my room, but it was great for the price. The two days I stayed at Villa Kaslan gave me strength to continue the rest of my itinerary.

We had a lovely time at Villa Kaslan - the villa is beautiful, with a pretty inner garden, and we really enjoyed the view from our balcony, across the palm-studded banana plantation! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive with Hamada arranging an excellent driver (Khalid) and very informative tour guide (Abdul) for us to see the Valley of the Kings and Medinut Abu (really good place to visit!), as well as a hot air balloon trip, which was definitely worth getting up at 4am for! Chef Omar cooked delicious meals, providing tasty vegetarian options for my husband and Alla provided us with a hearty breakfast on our final day 😋... All in all the service was excellent, including the affections of Spot the dog and Nikish the cat (well-trained pets that will leave you alone if you're not interested or if you're an animal lover like me, they will become your friends!).

We just returned from a 2-night stay in Villa Kaslan and we cannot recommend this wonderful place enough. Abdul and his team made us feel at home from the beggining and took care of us as if we were family. The villa is a heaven of peace and all members of the staff are truly hospitable and kind. The studios are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best that we had in our entire trip to Egypt, with delicious omelets, homemade falafel, fresh cheese, cereals, fresh fruits and veggies, bread, cake, yogurt and coffee. The private balconies overlooking the banana plantation are beautiful and the swimming pool was a hightlight for our children, who didn't want to leave! Abdul arranged it with their private driver Mohammed, so he took us to all the sites that we wanted to visit with total flexibility at a very reasonable price. We are truly happy to have stayed at Villa Kaslan and met this wonderful team, and we will stay here again without hesitation if we are so lucky to come back to Luxor!

Yvonne and Abdul take hospitality to the next level. We felt welcome at the villa on the same level we feel at our family’s home. Yes place was beautiful, clean and food delicious. On top of it all... it’s incredibly well located to the sites on the West Bank. I highly recommend this villa to all travelers visiting Luxor.

Very friendly and cooperative people, staying side to side to the fields, perfect location to see the sunrise in luxor, enjoy silence and the sounds of nature. Perfect breakfast, excellent food

In the outskirts of Luxor, in the west bank. Very quiet and comfortable guest house. Abdul and Iman take care of guests with the traditional arab hospitality. Very helpful, they can help you organising, Nilo cruiser, arrange visits to the numerous monuments, not only un Luxor but un Cairo or Assuan. We spent three wonderful days un Villa Kaslan. The swimming pool is a plus.

We stayed here 2 nights thanks to a friend's recommendation and had a really hard time leaving - our experience was absolutely amazing!! Abdul, the owner, is an awesome person and can't do enough for his guests. The staff, unchanged for the past 10 years, are equally fantastic. Food and fresh juices were great, rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and spacious, swimming pool was a delight. To top everything off, Spotty the dog and Minkish the cat were always around to be petted. Our driver, Sherif, took us everywhere with an impeccably clean car. They even organized the boat to cross to the east bank. The location is perfect: quiet and green, next to a banana plantation. Yet, just next to all main attractions of Luxor: Valley of Kings and Queens, Luxor Temple, Karnak, hot air balloon, among others. Dendera is an hour away but absolutely worth it! Best option in Luxor, can't recommend it enough!

Our stay at Villa Kaslan was perfect. The room was really clean and comfortable, and location was great with a very nice view on the fields and close to touristic sites (+very easy to go the east site). Breakfast was the best we had in Egypt and quantity was more than enough.
