Heard from tour guide that this restaurant has been opened for many years, mainly for buffet meals to travel tours. Lots of typical Egyptian foods can be found here.

Lots of tasty and authentic food options. Clean bathrooms, and very attentive service

Visited whilst on a tour, the food was amazing soup was fresh and salads fresh, chicken and beef cooked well! Deserts were nice not too sweet like most I've had. Service was excellent everyone very welcoming and positive. When myself and my wife are back in Cairo we will visit!!!!!

Great service! First restaurant that I’ve visited here in Cairo. Traveling with an EF group(: lots of well cooked foods, pastas, and desserts!

Only good point - the toilets are OK. Food really is not good. Sloppiest lasagna I've ever seen - didn't bother trying it. People absolutely rammed in, lots of shoving and pushing to get the food and back to the table. Another tourist trap whilst on a tour to the see the pyramids, which the operator claims is a "delicious lunch". We ended up going to the petrol station up the road for a sandwich.

We went to the restaurant as it was part of an extra visit from the tour company we traveled with. The restaurant itself is not bad, it's a normal buffet restaurant. The quality of the food it's not good: many dishes (koshaki included) are dry, not tasty and definitely not of quality. In fact we barely tasted the dishes and left almost everything. Furthermore, the prices of drinks are high: they want 3 euros (prices written in dollars or euros and not in Egyptian pounds!) for each soft drink. I asked for a fresh fruit juice which made my stomach hurt, unfortunately I have been sick to my stomach ever since. Absolutely not recommended!

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent people that want to show how good is the typical egyptian gastronomy for a spanish tourists like us. Thank you guys, hope to come back soon!

We had a lovely experience at Tasty House. The food was lovely and the service was great. When I come back to Cairo I will definitely be back
