Much nicer bazaar then the big ones. No high pressure sales people begging you for sales. Many of the shops do price items which is fantastic. Be sure to buy from them instead of ones who don't price items. They do this just to rip off the tourists...be warned. Only about 1 block of stores. Situated in the middle is the Old Cario Cafe and Restuarant which is a great stop for a quick bite or more.

Some really cool things to look at. Don't be scared to try to bargain. I know a lot of it is over priced but it was a good time.

If you dont have any interest in religion, no need to visit.

I love the old Cairo market. You can most definitely find everything you need!

Nice area to walk. My tour guide was very thorough and I should have recalled what she was telling me, but I can't right now. I love to views and the stories

Sells the usual overpriced tourist junk. Do not buy any drinks from the cafes here, it's four times the normal price you could get from any corner store elsewhere in Cairo.

Out of this world experience. Must go to really experience the atmosphere.

Very interesting Coptic area. Several churches, graves. Hanging church and the place where Mary, Jesus and Joseph fled to Egypt, cafes and shops. The Metro stop is Mar Girgis and is right by this quiet area

If you don’t want to be swamped with endless $1 per item offer… what a nice little market. Friendly little Tourist Info Kiosk. Free WC’s that are not great. But free. Some handmade products that stand out from the Grand Bazaar. Overall a nice experience.
