Went at night which is probably for the best as it's a shabby mess of cheap tacky shops with tat down lots of little streets. However we enjoyed it lots. The mosque looks amazing and we had a good time. Bought some souvenirs. Had some shisha. Bought some food. And got a dodgy taxi back to our hotel. Had a very good night. 😎

It's a great place for Tourist attraction with plenty of options from Food to Souvenirs. However the main attraction of this place is Sahaba Masjid, It is recommended to visit different shops and bargain before purchasing any souvenirs.

Worth a visit and if you want a hand bag or souvenir then great, shopping isn't greate and the fakes are not top quality. You can bargain with them but need to hold you in. They didn't pester to much and understand no thank you. We heard it was bad and they lock you in shops but there's none of that, really controlled and loads of tourists police. Safe place. There is a fish market, bars and restaurants and I think 3 hours is enough. Couple of features and would recommend an evening visit.

The "old mosque" is actually about 8 years old, but it's pretty impressive. A lively area, mainly pedestrianised, but watch out for scooters and camels! Lots of shops, market stalls, cafes, with enthusiastic owners encouraging you to buy their goods. If you do buy, always haggle, if you don't, be polite and just say no thanks.

A very big and versatile market in the heart of Sharm al-Sheikh. Many shops where you can get souvenirs for back home friends and family, restaurants, cafes, fish market, jewellery, clothes, pharmacies, etc. People are so nice, polite and respectful, not a hassle to bargain with as prices already not over the top, but understandably more than what you can get elsewhere. A big beautiful mosque inside the market boundaries called Al-Sahaba Mosque, very beautiful from the outside and the inside. Anyone can visit, even for non-muslims but after wearing the right outfit.

Went here Mid-day and most of the stores are still close but we managed to find a souvenir store. Very good place for bargain & souvenir for Sharm! What a day :)

I visited in the evening a couple of times. Great place to do your shopping for gifts. Go see Mr Herbs located just beside the mosque. He is such a gentleman and will treat you fairly in regards to prices.

There has many groceries, markets, and shopping malls. But absolutely you have to be aware of harassments and reckless behaviors. You should visit mosque and there had a specific area ensure taking pictures for tourists. You could ride caml. I think there has based little markets, you are able to purchase gift, magnet etc. Unlabor and quitely cheaper.
