Very nice meal, genuine traditional Egyptian food prepared by the owner and his family (mum and daughter). Generous portions and a fantastic terrace with a Nile view, where we watch the sunset. We chose to eat there to have a traditional meal and were convinced by the good reviews. The food is outstanding! However, be ready to wait a long time, we waited more than an hour, which was definitely worth it! Be aware that prices are not the ones you can see in the Google pictures. There is no menu and you need to negotiate the prices beforehand.

Of you want to eat a real natural and real organic food then this is your place. We ate in the farmers house and Mohammed and his mom were so nice and they gave a good hospitality. The food was so good everything we ate the best food ever there. Cheese, foul, boiled eggs 🍳 and white cheese. Home made breakfast! You need to go there and stay as well at their hotel for one night.

This is must try if you’re looking to experience home made, local cuisine. Make sure you’re really hungry when you go there as they bring out a minimum of 5-6 dishes on top of the Chicken/Fish/Duck options that you choose. Note there is no menu. The views from the restaurant are amazing and gives you a great view of the Nile from the West Bank. We paid around 650 Egyptian pounds including a beers for 2 people. Great service and experience, worth every penny!

This has been one of the highlights of my trip to Luxor. This is not a normal restaurant, this is part of Mohammed’s house and he showed us Egyptian hospitality. He was so friendly and we felt welcomed from the start and left very full! There’s no menu and he and his mum cooked us stuffed pigeon with all the trimmings, there was the option of chicken but I felt adventurous. We had to wait as they freshly prepared the food for us and we were his only costumers that night, it was very relaxing. The food was delicious, we didn’t managed to eat all they provided. I will recommend it!

Loooovely place to eat, its a bit far from the center but we have eaten an amazIng dinner for 800LE with duck 😊. Really tasty home made food.

No words can explain how good this experience is. We ordered chicken and were brought 8 delightful plates - the best food I’ve ever tasted in my life and the owner Mohammed Is very welcoming and generous. The environment is classic authentic Egyptian family style and you are eating with the best view of the Nile. Please don’t miss a meal here! I cannot wait to go back.

Really good restaurant with traditional Egyptian food ! The best Egyptian food we had in our trip ! Captain Mohamed is really friendly and welcoming and the food cooked by his mother was amazing. Highly recommended !!

This restaurant is serving typic Egypsian homecooked food. There is no menu, a unique meal with meat of vegetarian for 230LE/persons. We wait aprox 45 minutes to be served but it worth ! The view from the terrasse is beautiful. Don't be afraid by the appearance, this is a great place with nice people. And be very hungry because there is a lot to eat!
