Important! How to receive all the GBs you have purchased? I bought a 10gb card from Orange . The guy at the shop told me to dial all the codes from the attached photo 3 hours after installing the sim card in order to get all my GBs. Because otherwise it comes in smaller packages by 2 or 4 GBs. This doesn't work though. BUT I tried to dial only #12#11# ant it WORKED! This code unlocks the additional GBs. Dial it as many times as it is needed. The coverage is pretty good. Additional information - there are Orange shops i Hurghada and in El Gouna. Also in El Gouna there is free Wi-Fi almost everywhere.

Scam! Paid for 26GB of data when landing and reset my mobile data statistics when putting the SIM Card in, by the time it got to 15GB it ran out, when I asked someone at my hotel about it they said I had been ripped off and it wasn’t even a 26GB card. Ended up having to get a Vodafone card halfway through holiday.

They don't give you all the information from Orange, but only the ones that are advantageous to them, and even then there are persons there who try to trick you. All they care about is your money, based on the fact that most of those who pass by are tourists and never return. Unfortunately for them, not all are tourists.

Bought a SIM card from the airport and gave them the passport, I started receiving lots of SMS that I need yo send via email the passport and visa. Even if I complied, after 2 days they've cut my services. 0 stars, buy Vodafone if you can!

Bought a 20 GB week ago. I used only 7GB, so totally satisfied. If I would use only roaming data from my EU operator I would cost me one Tesla 🤣. From my point of view is for sure not a scam. Just ask the personal to activate the card and all the packages and you will be satisfied.

The assistant was very helpful to us and other clients. In general good to know: Calls on WhatsApp are not possible with Data plan only. I would use a Hotspot and Insert Orange SIM inside. Hurghada Airport arrival Terminal 1 has many options for Mobile plans. Do not leave the Terminal building , because, you are not allowed back.

I had ‘70gb’ for €17, but really it’s 35gb! They play a strange game on usage, depending on the app you use in Egypt, so you’re usually going to get 50%. Having said that, it has been good speed and the other companies seem the same. The man popped the sim into my phone to activate, that was efficient and easy, It’s difficult to recommend the store, as the pricing policy is totally misleading and staff aren’t that pleasant.
