This is a great vacation destination! (We travelled as a family with a 3 year old). - The beach is close and there are many types of activities offered. - There is also a kids club with lots of games and crafts for small kids as well as a large knee-deep heated pool. There is constant adult supervision during opening times. - The landscaping around the hotel is fantastic, i have not seen ANY rubbish lying around, and so it's a pleasure to take walks, jog, or bike around the perimeter. - The meals are offered as open buffet and the variety and quality was stellar. - We also tried out massages in the spa area, and the experience was great (however, it's a good idea to bargain hard and then generously tip the person who actually does the massage - they are not paid very much). All in all, we will certainly come back here.

The hotel is very comfortable. Servicers are very friendly. Chefs cook really delicious food. The pool is very big and has many options: hot pool, river,cold pool. The sea view is very wonderful there. The looby at night is crowded and quiet. In my program drinks and snacks were free at any time.

I stayed at this resort alongside my family over summer break. After a long week of sightseeing I was anxious to relax, and my desires were met exceptionally. The pool is very nice, with an amazing lazy river and swim up bar which was utilized greatly by my family and I. The activities were endless, with there being something different and fun every night. Housekeeping was amazing and efficient. Every time I came back to my room it had been cleaned and tidied up. Finally, the staff. They were such amazing people, great with kids and our crazy American family. As American residents, I would highly recommend paying a visit here at least once. It is absolutely beautiful, and we hope to come back next year even with the long flight. It is all worth it! If you’re considering this hotel, book it right this second! You won’t he disappointed, no matter how far you must travel to arrive. :)

The hotel looks good. The gardens are beautiful, but some services need to be improved. Especially serving at the beach and in the main restaurant area. The beach bar opens at 9 am, which is not ok at all. If you want to go to the beach in the morning, you can't even have a coffee. Many times during the day, waiters forget to come and ask if you want something. In the main restaurant I often did not find the table free or discarded. One day I walked around with a plate of food in my hand for about 10 minutes. The furniture in the rooms is old, the bathrooms are old but everything is clean. As a total experience it was good, but I'm not sure if I would go back.

This was my favorite hotel for long time Yet this visit was my worst. Actuallythe food quality was below average with very little variety. The room is bit old now every thing in the room squeek. The entertainment is very basic. I think the hotel managment is not willing to invist in the hotel any more. Save your money and go other hotel that respect their customers. This is my second day i did reserve in a restaurant as shown but they denied my reservation and they told me that i need to go change it my self noting that last reservation time is 6 pm. The way the manager treated me was unacceptable. Stop treating Egyptians guest with such attitude.

Hotel stuff are friendly, so nice and helpful. All inclusive is so good. Rooms are pretty old and need renovation. Check in process wasn’t good as they allocated room that doesn’t match our “sea / pool” view room we originally booked and paid for. Recommended if you have a very special discount offer.

Very nice hotel i recommend it. It is expensive so it is better to go only when there is a good offer for it. The rooms are clean, they all see the sea from the second floor up. The food quality is above perfect. The staff is very helpful and always there if you need anything.

I should make it 4.5 not 4. It is my 2nd visit after around 4 years and almost everything is better. Staff is very decent with all Egyptians and foreigners. Facilities are excellent. Food is almost very good. Restaurants are very nice. Only the missing was some kind of lock on the bathroom in rooms (aqua suite). Beach is a little rocky. But really it is very good hotel to stay.

I was in this hotel in September. Everything is wonderful here from cleanliness, food, staff, atmosphere, absolutely everything. Serveral a la carte restaurants where, if you make a reservation in advance, you can get a seat and enjoy the specialties prepared. The rooms, the pool, the beach are always clean. I recommend with all confidence and would come back here anytime

Where to begin, excellent from start to finish: the grounds, the staff, the food are all top drawer. You couldn’t ask for more from an all inclusive hotel, it massively exceeded our expectations. The staff really do go above and beyond; they’re so attentive, helpful, and work tirelessly, all with a smile and good humour.

Overall, the hotel offers a beautiful ambiance with excellent service and attentiveness to guests' requests. However, there are some points that were not satisfactory: 1. The hot swimming pool is very small and only 50cm deep, which is impractical for adults. Guests are directed to use the adjacent hotel's pool instead ( aqua magic ) which is already crowded and smaller 2. There are no evening activities as everything concludes by 9 PM, unlike the neighboring hotel, Aqua Magic, which offers more and longer nighttime activities. 3. There is disturbance from children in the hotel lobby without any management intervention to ensure the comfort of other guests. Additionally, the use of scooters & bicycles in the lobby is not permitted. 4. The spa is non-operational due to maintenance, which should have been communicated during booking as it is listed under facilities. 5. The indoor Jacuzzi and pool were also not operational due to maintenance. These issues should be addressed to manage guest expectations accurately.

Just finished our stay at the Steigenberger ALDAU Beach hotel for a week with my in-laws and we all loved it here. The welcoming service and hospitality, beautifully maintained gardens, pools and beaches, generous sized rooms overlooking the sea, grandeur reception and architecture throughout, distinct but varied restaurants and cuisines, top-notch evening entertainment, plentiful in-house activities to do including kids pools and slides and being accommodating for children and adults, the Steigenberger ALDAU Beach hotel is truly an all round 5 star family hotel, that makes you feel serene and secure, that is actually affordable during off-peak season. It's not perfect, but this hotel has lots to offer and excels in so many things, in my honest opinion it is one of the best hotels I've stayed in and deserves to be re-visited. Love this hotel, the staff working here made my stay amazing. They are attentive and friendly. They work very long hours despite this they have genuine smiles. Front of house are great organised a cake and decorations in the room for my daughter's birthday. Thank you sooo much. The food is fresh and displayed effectively so you want to eat it, and delicious. If you have a special diet do let them know the day before and they will accommodate. Overall would highly recommend this hotel.

My one and only favorite resort. Best of the best Everything literally from reception guys to the end of the trip is perfection. It's my fourth time already, by the way, brought family with me this time. Will keep coming as far as i can.

We've stayed several times throughout the years at the Steigenberger Aldau hotel. It has become a second home for our family for vacation. This hotel provides excellent service in every respect. The staff of all restaurants, the house keeping, the room cleaning, the pools, simply all of them do an exceptional job. From my point of view there is no room left for improvement. The entire family enjoys the taste and quality of food and extensive meal choices. The pool choice is unbeatable for kids and still relaxing for us. Furthermore, even when misunderstandings happen or some minor things do not work the way as expected, the front desk manager, Dauod A., has provided an excellent service to clear things up quickly and to find a perfect solution for everything. We were amazed. We also would like to thank Osama Moris & Sherif Fathy for their excellent service and fruitful conversations. We will be more than happy to come back soon. As you'll barely find something comparable my rating is 6 out of 5 stars for the Steigenberger Aldau.

Very beautiful resort, the perfect place for an amazing vacation. And Amgad, the guy who is serving at the pool, is the best. Always makes you smile, he entertain you, and makes you feel special. Great memories!

Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Mahmoud, who took us round in the buggy to show us where the different restaurants were and the type of food, i.e. French etc, also the pools and other interesting features - necessary knowledge for making the most of your stay. Nice beach but you need to go out in a boat for snorkelling. Food is tasty, fresh and a good variety.

Wonderful, excellent, quality services, very kind staff with a smile on their faces. Very clean throughout the resort, including the rooms. Very nice entertainment programs for all age groups. I will definitely come back.

Our experience at Al Dau Hotel was really good all in all. Food was much better than last time. We enjoyed our snorkeling trip and the staff is extraordinary friendly. Anyways we were not able to make a reservation in one of the other restaurants in the hotel due to overbooking.

I recently stayed at an Egyptian hotel, and it was an incredible experience. The staff were some of the nicest people I've ever met, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious, offering a taste of local cuisine that left us craving for more. The pools were a highlight - clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxation. And the entertainment events provided a lot of fun and excitement during our stay. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable trip, thanks to the wonderful hospitality, food, pools, and entertainment at this hotel.

Very large, luxurious resort, well staffed and very clean&proper. I really enjoyed my relaxing vacation there and I would definetly come back next year as well 😁👍 I was also impressed by the value.. considering how cheap the whole package was (under 500€ round trip flight included) for 7 nights... i was very pleasently impressed. Also I can't possibly remember all the ameneties included but a few come to mind... lots of pools all around the resort, water loops, kids pools with pirate ship, at least 5 restaurants, plenty of bars most of the food and beverages included, beach, voleyball, football, table tennis as well as a golf course.. shops and possibly anything you can think of.

We are due to leave tomorrow and my family has had a brilliant time here. My children aged 5 and 7 don’t want to leave. I have loved the cleanliness, the grounds, the staff. Absolutely everything! The staff are so polite, always on hand and waiting to help. The hotel itself is exquisite, we stayed in room 1433 and loved the views to the pools, garden and sea. The beach is clean and we always got sun loungers. The food choices are varied and beautiful. I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back (inshallah). Mohammed made us lovely mock-tails and cappuccino’s. Lovely person! Thank you😀

So the hotel is what you expect when you day 5 stars. The staff is super friendly and the everything is really prefect. The room is spacious however I'm not a fan of the idea of an open bathroom. Other than that if you wan an adults only luxurious hotel .... This should be your destination

What a fantastic resort! The location, building, pools and surroundings are just stunning. The staff here have been absolutely fabulous! My children aged 3 and 5 have really enjoyed the kids club, park and heated pool, where myself and husband can relax at the pool just outside. We have been staying in the presidential suite which I have to say is total perfection and a very good price for what you get. The entertainment and kids club team have been brilliant over the Easter period and we all enjoyed the colour show and party in the gardens. Food is great and each restaurant has its own vibe. We particularly enjoyed the beach bbqs and Alex Restaurant. Very easy to book and nothing is too much trouble for anyone here 😀 highly recommend to all wanting to visit Egypt!

It was a fantastic stay, people are very kind and the serviced complete! The food is various and fresh! The kids pool is always 31degrees.

Great hotel. Wonderful garden. Kind staff. Delicious food. Nice pools. Some notes/suggestions: - Although most of the staff is very kind, we had a few cases of staff members talking to us in a bit insolent manner. I didn't expect this at all in the hotel of such a reputation - It seems that tree branches are chopped with meat chopper instead of proper gardening tool. It's a shame as the garden looks really amazing and cultivated.

Nice hotel, massive pool, big rooms, very clean. The open buffet food is great, with great variety and good quality. The evening entertainment is varied and fun, although the music volume could be lowered a bit, as it was way too loud. The beach is nice, it's worth noting that the water is very shallow, which is ideal for families with young children, not so great for people who want to swim. Most of the wait staff and housekeeping staff looked bored and indifferent. We were a group of 9, and every time we asked for a table to sit together, they would just shrug, say there's no space and walk away, even though the restaurant is not completely full. That happened at almost every meal. Only when we start bringing tables together ourselves they actually do something about it. Overall we had a great time.

Amazing hotel in everything. The service is amazing and the team are the loveliest and nicest people. The food is amazing. We arrived before 9 am they offered us the breakfast and the room was ready in less than 3 hours. The animation team is fabulous. I enjoyed everything here. Will book our next holiday soon.

Amazing place and great service. It is one of the best resorts we have ever been too. It is even better than the best resorts in Las Vegas and the Caribbean. Wow what a resort with lots of things to do all day long. Everything was excellent from the staff, the property and the food. You really don't have to go anywhere as you have Everything around you. Super, super hotel, with lush garden, swimming pools with hot water for children, with kindergarten and playground for children, sandy beach and smooth entry into the water. Helpful staff and always attentive to the needs of customers, attentive waiters. Excellent food, every day with a specific evening (Italian, sea food, Egyptian, etc.). There are also repeating dishes, but the great diversity makes you find something to eat. the rooms are large and spacious with balconies overlooking the pools and the beach, clean, cleaned every day. The water is only bottled, the alcoholic drinks are local, so not what we are used to in Europe, but good and free:). I really have nothing to complain about this hotel, but on the contrary I highly recommend it, and if I go to Hurghada again, this will definitely be the hotel where I will stay

Thank you for your hospitality. Everything was wonderful, the staff were helpful and friendly. The food in all the establishments was exceptional. The entertainment was also top notch especially in the main lobby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although privacy could be improved in the rooms with the bathroom doors.

We are really grateful for the the good experience we have. We reserved 9 rooms as a group of friends. When we arrived, the magic began! We were upgraded accommodations with pool and ocean views. The rooms are enormous and come with all the amenities. The cuisine is really delicious and offers a wide selection of delectable snacks throughout the day. Amazing cocktails are served at the pool, beach, and lobby bars, and all of the bartenders are welcoming and helpful. the 24-hour lobby bar. Thank you so much for the warm welcoming and great hospitality, you made us very happy and gave us the best experience every.

The services at this hotel are very good, the hotel looks very nice, inside and outside (gardens, trees, flowers). Food is very delicious and diverse at Tamarind, especially the deserts. We went to Alex and Bwala restaurants but the food at Tamarind was better. Also the beach is really beautiful. Initially we weren't happy with the room we got (although we booked a room with sea view), but they gave us another room which was perfect.

This place is the best! Just book it you won't be disappointed :) The food is great, with a lot of variation. The staff is the friendliest I ever met. The property is in top condition (compliments to the garden team.) Grab some food or drinks any time of day, service is great but never stiff and always relaxed. We are going back for a 3d time asap.

We’ve had a wonderful time here. Family of five from the US. The rooms are clean, the air conditioning is cold, food is delicious, the entertainment is fantastic. Each person from the staff has been welcoming. The animation team does a great job of getting the guests involved in activities throughout the day. Oh, and the beach is beautiful! Pools are sparkling clean. Lazy river is so relaxing.

Fantastic hotel. Excellent staff who are very friendly and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is exceptionally clean and the grounds are impeccable. The gardening staff work tirelessly all day (in the high temperatures) and perhaps don't get the recognition they deserve.
