A nice, classy Indian Restaurant in Madinat Makadi. We visited here as part of our Jaz hotel à la carte option and had a lovely experience. Staff were friendly and food was tasty, although I wouldn’t say fully authentic Indian, but definitely really good considering you’re in Hurghada. The Lamb Rogan Josh in particular tasted quite nice.

We were missing our spices, so came to Amaya Restaurant, lovely food and friendly service. Would highly recommend when visiting hurghada, our servers Aswaq and Ahmed could not have done more, loved it.

The food is absolutely delicious and the restaurant has an Indian Chef who prepares it. It is the best place in town to eat original Indian food in a luxurious atmosphere and there is a very nice and polite crew as well.

5 star Indian cuisine we came from serenity fun city hotel craving for abit of flavours and spices really hit every spot other then that prices abit excessive and the wait was long we also noticed we had to pay while others walked out I'm guessing if your an outsider you will have to pay

We're no strangers to butter chicken but Amaya's butter chicken is unreal! The spicy chicken broth is also great as is the naan. It's a lovely space for a pretty authentic Indian meal. Give the wines a miss though.

Strange to find such a great indian restaurant in Egypt. Food is as good if not better than Masala Zone in London and service was friendly and professional.

Very disappointed with the service at this place, we were there for 2 hours and had to wait ages for the food. The starters were bland, the fish was like jelly and the chicken tikka didn't taste like chicken. Our main food was brought out 20 mins before the naan bread was given and so had gone cold, and they were delayed by only 20 mins because I went and complained to the waiter. Deserts which were meant to be served hot were absolutely cold and other deserts were just not cooked right, like they were rushed out and therefore raw. We had to rush our deserts because we waited so long we wouldve missed the bus back to our hotel. I'm disappointed I wasted my 1 free a la carte choice on this place and if I visit Makadi Bay again I won't be visiting this place again.
