(Translated by Google) Description of the pyramid: - Type: - real pyramid (destroyed) Height: - about 75 meters Base: 105 meters Incline: - 59 ° (down) - 55 (up). King Amenemhat III built the black pyramid during the Middle Kingdom in Egypt (2040-1640 BC). It is one of the five remaining pyramids of the pyramids at Dahshur in Egypt. Its name was originally the mighty Amenemhat, and the pyramid was called the Black Pyramid of Darkness, and its appearance deteriorated as a heap of rubble. The Black Pyramid was the first to house and queens. "Jacques Jean-Marie de Morgan", on the French expedition, began excavating the pyramids in Dahshur in 1892. The German Archaeological Institute in Cairo completed the excavation in 1983. Archaeological researcher Alaa Ashraf said that the Black Pyramid is one of five remaining pyramids out of the eleven pyramids that were built in Dahshur. Alaa added that the city of Dahshur was famous for the presence of many pyramids, including two of the oldest, largest and best-preserved pyramids in Egypt, namely the leaning or curve pyramid, and the Red Pyramid, as they were built from 2613 BC to 2589 BC in Egypt. . Archaeologist Alaa Ashraf explained that the black pyramid obtained this title because of its dark color and its decaying and decaying structure, and the black pyramid is not in the fame of the leaning and red pyramids, because it was closed to tourists due to its poor preservation and fear of collapses inside it collapsed, and the black pyramid was the first to house queens. Alaa added that the pyramid was originally 75 meters high, 105 meters long, and inclined at an angle of 57 degrees. The base was built of mud bricks, covered with mortar on the outside, and then the rest of the courses were of white limestone. Alaa says that the top of the pyramid was covered with religious inscriptions and symbols, and the pyramid contained many corridors, and the rooms were for two queens in addition to the king. The pyramid has two entrances at the southern end from the eastern and western sides, followed by stairs leading to the interior. The researcher pointed out that when the construction was nearing completion, the engineers of King Amenemhat the Third realized that problems had appeared in the structure of the pyramid .. The mysterious black magnetic pyramid in the Egyptian Museum was broken: Learn about the mysterious magnetic black pyramid Bin Bin pyramid is the magnetic black pyramid. And it was found in Ain Shams , This is the pyramid that has baffled scientists for thousands of years, and they could only solve the mystery after their ascent in space. Where it appeared that the pyramid is made of black stone, but it is not an ordinary stone because all its components do not exist on the face of the earth. It is mentioned that, the iron black stone does not exist except in space in space meteorites, and here the other mystery appears because it is a very solid iron stone and difficult to form and dig, but it is not difficult to break, so how was it cut with such precision in angles and deviations, and how was its faces polished with this unique refinement? Here, the third riddle appears in its head, which is how the inscriptions were made with these very delicate inscriptions on the faces of the pyramid, and the scholars found it impossible for any tool, whether in the past or recently, to carve these inscriptions unless using a laser cutting tool. Then the archaeologist Alaa Ashraf added that it is also worth mentioning, that the last mystery has now been reached, which is that the black iron meteorite thanks to its composition and components has the emission of positive electromagnetic energy in its surroundings that makes everyone who approaches it feels psychological comfort and extreme clarity and affects the human energy, removing what he feels It has pain in any area of his body, “such as the energy bracelet that is being worn now, but with a very high energy that affects any number, whatever it is, just by their presence in his surroundings”, and the stone is currently in the Egyptian Museum .. Was absolutely stunning. We went in June so the temperature was 45 degrees Celsius; the heat wants absolutely insane. So please make sure you bring lots of water and make sure you check the temperature. Inside was quite a lovely experience, very well kept and lots of chambers to visit. Make sure you’re in good shape and don’t have a bad back or knees. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend going too far inside as it is a lot of crouching at times and can be straining. My legs were sore the next day. But it was definitely worth the visit and I would recommend you check it out if you have the chance.

The novel opens with Carter and his father Julius Kane visiting Carter's sister Sadie, who has lived with her maternal grandparents in London since the death of their mother, Ruby Kane. Julius, a magician posing as a simple Egyptologist, takes the siblings to the British Museum, where he tries to bring Osiris (the Egyptian god of the Underworld) into the mortal world. His magic has the unintended side effect of summoning the gods Horus, Isis, Nephthys, and Set, as well as alerting the magicians Zia Rashid and Michel Desjardins to his actions, which are illegal in the magic community. Set, a god of chaos, captures Julius and declares his intention to become king of the world. Unbeknownst to Carter and Sadie, each of the released gods chooses a mortal host from the humans in the room. Carter and Sadie are taken to Brooklyn by their uncle Amos, who tells them they are descended from a long line of magicians, beginning with the Egyptian pharaohs Ramesses the Great and Narmer. He also explains the grave danger Set poses to the world and goes to find him. While he is away, the mansion is attacked by Set's minions. With help from Sadie's cat Muffin, who is host to the goddess Bast, and Zia Rashid, they escape to Cairo. Once there, Carter and Sadie discover they are hosts to the gods Horus and Isis, respectively. They train in magic until the magicians' leader Iskandar dies and Michel Desjardins orders their deaths for collaborating illegally with the gods. The siblings escape and form a plan to defeat Set — hoping to rescue their father and clear their names within the magic community. They travel to Set's lair in Arizona, gathering ingredients for a magic spell and evading hostile monsters and magicians. Bast sacrifices herself while defending Carter and Sadie from Sobek, then they encounter Amos and then Zia. The foursome heads to Set's hideout, where they learn the final piece of the spell they need from a dying Zia, the unknowing host of Nephthys. Carter, Sadie, Horus, and Isis use the spell to subdue Set, although they stop short of completely destroying him because they realize his actions were dictated by a far worse enemy — Apophis, a much more powerful god of chaos. Desjardins reluctantly allows Carter and Sadie to go free after they part with Horus and Isis. After a tearful goodbye with Zia, who turns out to have been a magical copy of the real magician, Carter and Sadie return to Brooklyn. They visit their father, now in the underworld, reunited with their ghostly mother. As a gift, the other gods as well as Osiris (hosted by the deceased Julius) help Bast return to the mortal world. Carter and Sadie describe their plans to recruit other magicians to (illegally) study the path of the gods, and Carter also resolves to seek out the real Zia Rashid. Characters Edit Main article: List of characters in mythology novels by Rick Riordan Carter Kane – the 14-year-old son of Julius and Ruby Kane. After the death of his mother, he spent six years traveling with his father and, as he put it, "living out of a suitcase." He has dark skin, curly dark brown hair, and brown eyes, and is described initially as always dressing "impeccably" in dress shirts and pants, though he relaxes into a more modern style as the series progresses. As a descendant of Narmer and Ramses the Great through both sides of his family, he bears the "blood of the pharaohs," and hosts the war god, Horus. His specialty is combat magic and his preferred weapon is a khopesh, an ancient Egyptian sword. Sadie Kane – the 12-year-old daughter of Julius and Ruby Kane, and Carter's sister. She was six when her mother died and afterward lived in England with her "normal" grandparents. She is lighter-skinned than Carter, with blue eyes and "caramel-colored" hair. The bolder, more reckless of the Kane siblings, she teases her brother all the time, though she does care about him. She hosts Isis, the goddess of magic. Julius Kane – Sadie and Carter's father, and Egyptologist and, secretly, an Egyptian magician who becomes a host of Osiris. His wife, Ruby Kane, died tryi

This is my favorite pyramid in Egypt. It is baffling in size and the inner passages are very long. You will get a leg work out going through this Pyramid. It is technically a failed pyramid, but that almost makes it better as you get to see the finished foundations that cracked in the corners and then the reduced angle at the top of the pyramid that was changed to counter the collapsing base. You can see the Red Pyramid from this location with the optimal distance and angle with the sun to see the red.

It is the kind of monuments that takes the breath, it is huge, somehow it is unexpectedly much larger than it seems in illustrations. It is remarkable that it prevail flat surfaces which flatness looks very difficult to succeed even with the modern technology, this is the kind of mysterious characteristics of this amazing building, rock blocks are perfectly well crafted (Carved? Cut? It is a riddle). Fascinating site, definitively worth to visit. UPDATE. Now a days, about 2 weeks ago, authorities have allowed the access to the interior of this pyramid and it is amazing! A great experience to get into this marvel, don't miss the opportunity!

A challenging climb - get some experience with Giza before this. I made the mistake of making this my first Pyramid; unfortunately I got so tired it was impossible to reach the final chamber! The tunnels are quite small so try this only if you have strong legs and can commando crawl. I stopped right at the last photo; this portion was only about 3ft tall! I had to turn back because some French guy in front of me decided to bail out and this is definitely not a two-way tunnel.

It's one of my favourite historical landmarks. If you like adventures, this should be your next destination. You will have to crawl towards the centre of the pyramid , so you're gonna need your breath and head flashlight , it will be better than your mobiles. The ticket for Egyptians costs 10 L.E. for the whole area. Unfortunately, I don't know the cost for foreigners.

(Translated by Google) Bent Pyramid is one of the pyramids of Egypt and one of the three pyramids built by Senefru. It was called the leaning pyramid, as it started building the pyramid to rise at an angle of 58 degrees, and when the pyramid building reached almost half its height, it was decided to build the upper part at an angle of 43 degrees. This technology helped Senefru and his engineers build a complete pyramid with a new technology in Meidum called the Red Pyramid. The work on building the tilted pyramid took 14 years, and it seems that he did not like Senefru, so he decided to build the red pyramid according to the experience that his engineers learned when building the leaning pyramid. He chose the place for his pyramid, in which he was buried, about 2 km north of the tilted pyramid in the town of Dahshur. When building the tilted pyramid, the pyramid was built of stones at angles inclined to the ground, estimated at 59 degrees. It is likely that by erecting the building in this way, the building began to sink due to the stone loads. In addition, the large corner causes a large, sharp rise to the pyramid, making it difficult to complete and construct the upper part of it. To remedy this problem, the engineers constructed support walls that made the inclination angle of 55 degrees for the unfinished building. Then they completed the building at a curved angle of 43 degrees, which made it called the Bent Pyramid. Thus, I discovered the technique of building the complete pyramids by laying horizontal floors of stones. Each square layer of stones is topped by a smaller layer in area with the angle of inclination being 52 degrees, instead of building at an angle of 55 or 43 degrees as it was in the case of the curved pyramid. And this shape became the complete form of the pyramid as we know it today. The design of the construction of the leaning pyramid The tilted pyramid is next to it, the secondary pyramid is visible from a distance, the red pyramid (right). Senefru took advantage of the new technology to build his gigantic pyramid and called it "the North Pyramid" and today we call it the Red Pyramid. The Red Pyramid is located about 1.8 km north of the curved pyramid of Dahshur. And based on the technique of building the Red Senefru pyramid, the pyramids were built in Giza. Khufu Ibn Senefru built the Great Pyramid on the Giza plateau and reached a height of 157 meters, then his son Khafre followed him and built his pyramid next to his father's pyramid and it was lower than it, then his son Menkaure came and built the third (small) pyramid, and the three pyramids are in Giza. And those pyramids were tombs for them (Original)

The bent pyramid in dashur is a definite must visit even though it is harder to access. It is a living piece of history as evidence of the evolution of building styles the pyramid has went through. We visited in summer so it was hot but the interior was cool and there weren’t many people around so it made for great photo opportunities

Very striking pyramid that stands somewhat alone in the desert. Very few tourists due to distance from Cairo and the more famous attractions. Access to the interior is strenuous, to say the least! I think it was worth the trip out to visit to help understand the overall timeline of the construction of 'the pyramids". If you are 6' in height, consider going down backwards.....much easier!

My favourite Pyramid!! Personally, I don't think there was any mistake in planning or construction of this beautiful and majestic building, we just don't understand yet the purpose it was built that way. The inside is a true adventure with lots of crawling and climbing, it's physically very challenging but totally worth it.

An out of the way pyramid, but a really good one to visit for three reasons. Number one the price, only 60EGP and you can enter the pyramid for that price. Number two, there are no tourists around since it is pretty far from Cairo (but not too far from the step pyramid.) Number three, this pyramid retains most of its outer casing so you can see how the pyramids looked when they were intact and you can also glimpse the technique used in building the casing from the fragments that have fallen off. The interior is not as impressive as the Red Pyramid, and the descent is much longer.

The bent and red pyramid are really nice. For only 100 EGP (09/23) you can visit the site and enter both pyramids which is really worth it. I would recommend hiring a driver from Cairo (we had a driver who took us first to both pyramids and later to Gizeh pyramids and back to the hotel for 40 Euro) as the two pyramids are quite far from one another. The car ticket costs 10 EGP.

our very first day with the ancient Egyptian Pyramid, it was just massive, magnificent, still stand strong on an empty desert. the Bent Pyramid was probably one of the early prototype, yet last till today. a tunnel was made for visitors who can go inside the interior of the pyramid, too bad with my back pain I could not climb in; didn't want to be rescued from inside the pyramid.

We went inside this pyramid and it was pretty steep and pretty narrow passageways. The area and the top is small and we happened to get there after a group of French tourists arrived. It was crowded at the top and they started chanting, humming and then softly sobbing. I think for them it was a religious experience maybe. Personally I felt creeped out by them so left sooner then I normally would have. You can get a good view of the black pyramid from there too. Cars don’t seem to go there.

This is near the red pyramid, and the same admission ticket gives you access to both (including going inside). The pyramid was built before Egyptians fully master the art of building pyramids, that's why some portions have collapsed. But overall, it's in a good shape against the ages.

The Bent Pyramid of Giza, located approximately 40 kilometers south of Cairo, Egypt, is a unique ancient structure built during the Old Kingdom period around 2600 BC for Pharaoh Sneferu. The pyramid is characterized by a distinct change in slope, creating a bent appearance, hence its name. Scholars believe that this architectural adjustment may have been made to address stability concerns during construction. The lower portion has a steeper angle, which was later modified to a shallower angle in the upper section. Despite its unconventional design, the Bent Pyramid holds significance in understanding the evolution of pyramid construction techniques and offers valuable insights into the engineering prowess of ancient Egyptians.

(Translated by Google) One of the pyramids in Dakhshur is definitely worth going down to the pyramid, but it will take a lot of effort. There are few tourists in this area and there are no local "helpers" and "guides", so no one will bother you. The very first pyramid that I walked in to. Very long ramp, they say it is about 100 feet going down. Many nooks and crany in order to get into the tomb location. This is not for someone who is claustrophobic. Very intersting room.

Very nice to visit it, since is one of a kind. Still, if you have claustrophobia or not a good physical condition, don't adventure on the inside since is narrow and long and goes down, up, up on the entrance (on your way out is the opposite). I saw some people coming out not very comfortable (thanking other for help, cursing, sweating and breathing heavily). As a reference is longer and heavier that in Giza - Keops pyramid (the big one).

The Bent Pyramid is currently thought to be a transitional form between step-sided and smooth-sided pyramids, according to archaeologists. It has been believed that the structure began to show signs of instability during construction due to the steepness of the initial angle of inclination, causing the builders to adopt a shallower angle to avoid the structure collapsing. [5] This notion appears to be supported by the fact that the adjacent Red Pyramid, erected by the same pharaoh shortly after, was built at a 43-degree angle from its foundation. This fact also refutes the belief that the construction would take too long at the initial angle because Sneferu's death was approaching, therefore the builders adjusted the angle to finish the job on time. In the year 1974. It is also unique among Egypt's around ninety pyramids in that its original polished limestone exterior casing is still in good condition. This, according to British structural engineer Peter James, is due to larger clearances between the components of the casing than in subsequent pyramids; these defects would act as expansion joints, preventing the outer casing from being destroyed by heat expansion.

Bigger than Red both outside and inside! Worth a very good exploration. I wonder if you would still be happy to pay Giza after this! 3k from Red, 5k from ticket gate. Tunnel lower than Red but more diversity for climbing. If you don't have enough time, Bent is a defo than Red. I waited for people to come out. Normally no "traffic". I again had the whole pyramid myself. There are bats inside, cute sleeping beauties. They do squeak like rats. I don't know what that means. I didn't know the lights were sound controlled on my way in, so as I crawled through a totally dark tunnel, a batman squeaked away from my backpack. 60 for both Red and Bent inside! Students half. Close at 4 pm

I think it's okay to go around to the other side, but even though it's a small pyramid, it's a reasonable size, so if you have a tight schedule and can't afford the time, it's a good idea to go in the afternoon. (Translated by Google) This pyramid will be much cooler than those in Giza. Laz 100 meters down, then a spiral staircase up, then another manhole inside. In the king's chamber, there are beautifully preserved 4500-year-old Lebanese cedar beams and a horde of bats. White stone pyramid. It is very atmospheric inside (if I may say so about tight spaces))) Unforgettable impressions! Better leave it for last, because och you will get very tired.

We visited this pyramid as part of a 2-week tour of Egypt. It is in a remote area, much less crowded than the Giza plateau so it offers a good opportunity for very nice photos. It is possible to go inside the pyramid burial chamber but it is not for the faint of heart as it requires crawling down a small shaft (20 minutes total).
