Amazing place This place called "Al- Nayzak" and it's an Arabian word means (meteor) and there you can find " The meteor lake " a wonderful lake with some coral reef with deapth from (8-11) meters with no tidal or water current that's make it a perfect place for learning diving safely but does this lake exist because of meteors or Asteroids coming from space !? The short answer is :- - No it doesn't occur due to any celestical bodies falls or impact to Earth So how does this lake exist in First place !? There is three main reasons for that :- 1- The strong water currents in this area that pushing water in the same direction of the lake .. and that had been confirmed and reported many times from local Fishermen . 2- The sedimentary rocks forming this place that allowed the water currents to sculpt this area forming this wonderful lake . So it's just an nature process looks like the erosion of the beaches process but it's not eroaion of the beaches process , and for sure you need to know that Al-Nayzak area has a Natural defender against erosion of the beaches operations and that's is the Coral reef line you can see behind the lake . 3- The Coral reef lines thats protected the place around lake to be sclupt and that's what allowed the lake to exist in first place and help it to remain exist A beautiful symphony made by Nature . So from where does "Al-Nayzak " name came from !? - from hundreds of years the local residents of this area thought they saw a star fall from sky on this area forming this magical lake This place remain unlabeled until dozens of years when the local people decide to call this place Al-Nayzak due to the Fact that stars doesn't fall on the ground .. but meteor still does A beautiful myth and beautiful story that remains until today .. showing us how people used to think in the past and how they still trying to keep their mythes alive . Don't ever forget to give a quick look to this place #Mahmoud_El-Said

People say this hole was created by a meteor fall from space. Anyway, I didn't find anything special worth visiting. The shore is rocky and the water inside the hole doesn't smell so good. In addition no services at all in the area. There were local women who sell souvenirs, that I bought many souvenirs from them. I don't recommend wasting your time visiting it, the pictures and videos are enough.

Great spot to do some swimming or have some cool pictures. There are actually few fishes that you can see in that spot. People can also have little jumps in the water. It's free.

A bit hard to reach if you're on your own, but you'll forget that once you reach it.

There’s nothing around it so you need to bring all your needs with you.

It was not as we saw in the pictures. The water was full of plastic bottles, cans of pepsi and many things. However, the experience was fun.

Such a wonderful spot would have been even better if we reached earlier to catch some daylight, we arrived just before sunset so missed the sunshine

Before I go I had my hopes down but to be honest I enjoyed the whole experience away from cars and buildings and people. We were alone so we had our own time and privacy. The place was clean and the fish were everywhere so I recommend you get snorkeling gear. We enjoyed jumping from high places too but TAKE CARE THERE ARE HIGH ROCK AT SOME POINT SO MAKE SURE TO CHECK FIRST BEFORE YOU JUMP. I would definitely go there again and I totally recommend it.
