I tried many hospitals in Cairo so I believe I am entitled to give fair and honest opinion. Dar El Fouad is the best hospital in Cairo although it is expensive but I use my Metlife medical card. In every medical specialty, there are many Consultant doctors along the day so you can choose your preferred timing to visit the clinics. The hospital team always active, professional and committed to serve patients. The hospital always clean and have many food and beverages facilities. I noticed four ATM machine inside the hospital National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Arab Bank and QNB. Highly recommended. Update following inpatient surgery on 24/5/2023: All doctors, nurses, house keepers are highly qualified and have been great help during my medical treatment. I checked in early morning so the emergency Reception team done the admission process which done in one hour; I heard from other patients that they waited for more than three hours. The emergency team were not professional when dealing with patients and talked to them improperly. I checked in to room 3102 which was not well maintained; patient bed was hard, plumbing was not working properly so i moved to another room 3106 following the operation which was much better and well prepared. The hospital generally is well maintained and have all kind of the facilities and medical equipment. The breakfast and dinner were good but the lunch was never good at all; the menu needs enhancements and the team were very helpful and attentive. I wish to thank the great professor Dr Ahmed Sekotory and his assistant doctors Abdalla, Bahy and Yassin. Many thanks for the hidden gems nurses at third floor by name Abeer, Aya Aly, Aya Atef, Amira, Rashad, All nurses name Mohamed and Ahmed” and Mahmoud.
