Excellent store with a wide variety of quality products. Have been going there for over 20 years and always surprised that they have such good pieces of antique or even modern Bedouin art plus great fabric products.

Best shop around Cairo for authentic gifts - purses, scarves, silver jewelry, drink ware, etc. I mean pennies on the dollar cheap! 100 yards from the Marriott Casino!

Excellent shop. Lovely gifts with good prices and a big price range so you can choose the price range most convenient for you. I was met by a staff member and by the owner and both were very friendly and decent and the owner treated me to a gift.

This place sells Egyptian handcrafted products, such as accessories, clothes, carpet, shoes and home decor. Staff are nice and speak English well. The most important thing is the prices are much cheaper than Khan el-Khalili market but the product are unique and handcrafted

Lovely atmosphere on the second floor of an old Egyptian apartment filled with ethical and fair treasures. All items on sale are handmade and by Egyptian artisans & crafters. We bought many things from here but the most special was the rug we purchased for our apartment. It was a little too large and the owner told us not to worry and come back in an hour. He miraculously weaved it to the right size himself. Definitely a wonderful experience. Can’t recommend enough.

Wow, Nomad was a pivotal stop to our trip. Not only is the collection of goods fantastic and well priced. The owner Mr. Alef is one of the kindest souls we’ve ever met. He recommended us trusted locations to visit (His cousin’s famous silver shop is a must). Make sure to stop by it’s a special place.

This store is the best in Cairo for hand craft Egyptian products at a reasonable price. Recommend anyone who is interested in non touristy souvenirs.

One of the nice shops for handmade, Egyptian products. This shop seems to offer more jewelry than cotton. Friendly staff and fair prices.

THIS STORE IS AMAZING!!! As my sister said below: This store is awesome!! There is jewelry, scarves, home decor, clothing, small gifts, you name it! I visited this store when I was in Cairo for a family friend's wedding. A small group of us stopped in and loved it so much we came back a few days later with the rest of our group. The owner was very kind and knowledgeable on the merchandise and provided detail on the origin. I love that this place is fair trade. If you are traveling though Egypt this is a MUST SEE!

Great spot for snatching some Egyptian gifts. Instead of cheesy pyramid paper weight souvenirs, go here and get items that is actually would want in your home.

Don't buy overpriced goods at the market. These are good quality Egyptian handicrafts at all price points and not mass produced imports. Prices are fair and you can take your time browsing with no pressure and very friendly staff. It has a side balcony where we had tea.

Very impressive selection of high quality handicrafts. Mostly textiles, some pottery, and brass and silver jewelry. The people running the shop are extremely kind and helpful, and the prices fair. If you want some gifts or items for your home that are better than the usual tourist shop items this is the place to go!

Lovely place with a good selection items. Everyone working there was very welcoming and considerate, I really appreciated their honest pricing policy. They deserve a worthy visit and more. Would recommend this place as the best souvenir shop in Cairo.

Hidden gem, up the corner of a building. Perfect for gifts, souvenirs, hidden treasures, handpicked jewelry and vintage pieces. Owner of the store is super friendly and willing to help, super cosy with a cute cat walking around the store.

Absolut empfehlenswert!

This place has the most tasteful items to be found in Cairo all collected in one place. Old, very well preserved fabrics from Sina, Siwa and many other places hang along fine carpets and hand crafted sterling silver jewellery, made by Touaregs and other beautiful jewellery. You can find ceramics and old traditional dresses and precious souvenirs. But what makes this place even more special is Mr Adam, who is present with the most generous and heart warming welcome. This place is a hidden gem and a must see for people who appreciate authenticity.

Very nice shop with beautiful, authentic and well made products. The Bedouin items are beautiful and intricately made. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices are shown on the items and are very reasonable given the quality of items. It was a pleasure not to be pressured to buy anything or to have to haggle for 15-20 minutes. We highly recommend if you want to buy authentic products.

I am so grateful to the internet for letting me know about this amazing store: it truly was my dream of what I'd hoped to find (and bring home) from our once-in-a-lifetime adventure in Egypt. I love vintage, unique textiles and handicrafts, and while I was happy to purchase the inexpensive scarab bracelets / necklaces by the handful from the vendors outside the temples (and as a Special Needs mama I was especially happy to purchase from those who have disabilities), my dream had been ... more. And this shop was so much more. Truly, the only thing preventing me from purchasing more was that I just did not want to also purchase a large suitcase! (Wish I had, though ....) Nomad actually generously gave me two smaller bags (a small sport duffel and a backpack) in which I could carry my purchases. (Let's just say I made use of every spare nook and cranny, rolling things to put inside shoes -- you know the drill!) I had dreamed of what our guide called "camel clothes": those colorful, gorgeous woven saddles and pompoms ... and Nomad had them! Yummy. Rugs rugs rugs, oodles of scrummy hand loomed / hand embroidered shawls + scarves, vintage, unique jewelry, unique trinkets from from the Siwa people, terrific little ceramic cups (they were sooo interesting and now that I'm back in the US I'm sorry I didn't purchase any, really sorry), and on and on. I am telling you this store is a DREAM. A dream. The prices were very fair and, based on my shopping throughout the country, totally on-point. Before visiting the store I'd thought things might be slightly more expensive, but they were not. At all. And I have to say, the people who work in this shop could not have been kinder, more helpful, more patient: I heard fluent Arabic and English. They were lovely as could be to me, and when I explained why I couldn't stay long (my child is in a w/c and, because to get to the old-fashioned elevator you have to come up a half-flight of stairs) they immediately offered to lift him in w/c up the stairs -- so kind. So kind. I visited Nomad on my final day in Cairo and it truly was the best end to our two weeks in this amazing country. Wonderful. I cannot recommend more highly this treasure of a store.

Wonderful shop for authentic Egyptian handcrafts. The owner is a lovely man who knows all about the traditional textiles and handwork of Egypt and is happy to share his knowledge. I am a lover of authentic handcrafts and of textiles and I happily spent several hours in his store and came home with amazing gifts for all my family! If you want to take a piece of Egypt home with you, this is where you should go!! I have repeated this review on TripAdvisor as well, because Nomad deserves all of the business my reviews can possible generate! It is truly a unique and amazing place!!

👍👍 Visited Cairo from England this week. This is a nice clean shop. Products are all priced so no need to haggle and very reasonable in comparison to others. Well packaged products. Polite staff. Only suggestion would be to increase the size/extend! Muhammad F
