I
am
so
grateful
to
the
internet
for
letting
me
know
about
this
amazing
store:
it
truly
was
my
dream
of
what
I'd
hoped
to
find
(and
bring
home)
from
our
once-in-a-lifetime
adventure
in
Egypt.
I
love
vintage,
unique
textiles
and
handicrafts,
and
while
I
was
happy
to
purchase
the
inexpensive
scarab
bracelets
/
necklaces
by
the
handful
from
the
vendors
outside
the
temples
(and
as
a
Special
Needs
mama
I
was
especially
happy
to
purchase
from
those
who
have
disabilities),
my
dream
had
been
...
more.
And
this
shop
was
so
much
more.
Truly,
the
only
thing
preventing
me
from
purchasing
more
was
that
I
just
did
not
want
to
also
purchase
a
large
suitcase!
(Wish
I
had,
though
....)
Nomad
actually
generously
gave
me
two
smaller
bags
(a
small
sport
duffel
and
a
backpack)
in
which
I
could
carry
my
purchases.
(Let's
just
say
I
made
use
of
every
spare
nook
and
cranny,
rolling
things
to
put
inside
shoes
--
you
know
the
drill!)
I
had
dreamed
of
what
our
guide
called
"camel
clothes":
those
colorful,
gorgeous
woven
saddles
and
pompoms
...
and
Nomad
had
them!
Yummy.
Rugs
rugs
rugs,
oodles
of
scrummy
hand
loomed
/
hand
embroidered
shawls
+
scarves,
vintage,
unique
jewelry,
unique
trinkets
from
from
the
Siwa
people,
terrific
little
ceramic
cups
(they
were
sooo
interesting
and
now
that
I'm
back
in
the
US
I'm
sorry
I
didn't
purchase
any,
really
sorry),
and
on
and
on.
I
am
telling
you
this
store
is
a
DREAM.
A
dream.
The
prices
were
very
fair
and,
based
on
my
shopping
throughout
the
country,
totally
on-point.
Before
visiting
the
store
I'd
thought
things
might
be
slightly
more
expensive,
but
they
were
not.
At
all.
And
I
have
to
say,
the
people
who
work
in
this
shop
could
not
have
been
kinder,
more
helpful,
more
patient:
I
heard
fluent
Arabic
and
English.
They
were
lovely
as
could
be
to
me,
and
when
I
explained
why
I
couldn't
stay
long
(my
child
is
in
a
w/c
and,
because
to
get
to
the
old-fashioned
elevator
you
have
to
come
up
a
half-flight
of
stairs)
they
immediately
offered
to
lift
him
in
w/c
up
the
stairs
--
so
kind.
So
kind.
I
visited
Nomad
on
my
final
day
in
Cairo
and
it
truly
was
the
best
end
to
our
two
weeks
in
this
amazing
country.
Wonderful.
I
cannot
recommend
more
highly
this
treasure
of
a
store.
