We just came back from Cairo, Egypt with full satisfaction. My husband and I had the day tour booked. Our local tour guide Ahmed Mohsen picked us up from the hotel in a private car. It was a wonderful experience with him as he was experienced, knowledgeable about Egyptian history culture and heritage, humorous English speaking guide. Never felt bored with him. Our driver was also English speaking polite guy and both of them made our trip very pleasant. There are so much to see, 12 days wasn’t enough and we would love to go back again.

We used travel agency for a custom itinerary including multiple tours in Cairo, airfare to/from Luxor and multiple tours in Luxor. Every aspect of our trip was outstanding. We were met in Arrivals when we landed in Cairo and escorted to change currency, obtain visas, collect our luggage and clear immigration. We then met our Cairo guide were transferred by minivan to our hotel. We were greeting on-time the following morning by he who was absolutely outstanding -- effortlessly taking us to multiple sites around Cairo including Giza, the Egyptian Museum and on a food tour as well as to Sakkara, Memphis, and Dahshur. He spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable. He also was a fun and enthusiastic guide whom the entire family really enjoyed. When booking I had some concerns, particularly paying in full upfront. However, the entire trip when off perfectly. It took care of our internal flights, all of our airport transfers as well as every other detail. I absolutely will use both them on our next visit to Egypt. Finally, despite travel warnings from the US and UK at no time did we ever feel unsafe or have even the slightest concern. Every Egyptian we met was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to see American tourists. Usual big city safety cautions should suffice, at least in Cairo and Luxor.
