The experience begins from the car park where they issue you a L.E. 150 ticket for parking the car. And the parking is in poor condition with no guide lines. Inside, the main lobby is old and devoid of any decor. It resembles a cold and dark place from old movies about Russia and Eastern Europe. The main building is old and the rooms and windows are from another era. Behind the main building, there are a couple of small pools, and they, too, are quite small and crammed. Adjacent to the old building is a new building of Waldorf Astoria with tropical decor, supporting a Thai restaurant. Further to that is the foyer of Waldorf Astoria. The massive foyer has a strong tropical vibe to it with scores of species of plants and trees. Here, one can find newer and more comfortable furniture, as well as comfy areas to lounge. The prices of food and beverages are through the roof. Prohibitively expensive in every respect. But I am sure I will not go to this hotel ever again simply because of how they extort you for parking your car.

By far the best Guest Services team in Cairo. Been staying at this property for 20 years and it feels like one big family. Super warm and friendly staff, renovated rooms, multiple pools. Executive lounge is recommended at evening times. Big thanks to all the senior management for making my stay all the better.

Very good easy accessible location. Helpful friendly staff. Very big facility. Convention center, Health club and many restaurants on the spot. Rooms are clean. You will find iron and ironing table which is not always available in other hotels even by request. The rest of room facilities is standard. In winter you will find heated swimming pool (max depth 185 cm). Nice garden with different plant species and peacocks freely moving around....

Hilton remains the best when it comes to hospitality. It is absolutely home away from home. I really enjoyed Hilton Cairo Heliopolis as a diamond member. The VIP treatment I experienced was the first of its kind from all the Hilton hotels I have stayed in the past. I can't wait to be there again.

The worst possible service! The housekeeping team has no idea about guest satisfaction and comfort, That’s unbelievable! Obviously they didn’t get any training on how to work at night, I’ve called twice the front desk complaining almost begging them to ask their housekeeping to stop making noise, Since 10 pm the housekeeping guy was bothering me with noise in front of my room throwing cartons on the floor, At 11:15 pm I’ve opened my door and asked him politely to stop as I was trying to sleep and asked the front desk to call his manager to stop, Then continuously till 12:30 pm, opening the housekeeping door and letting it slam, I can’t believe this unprofessionalism, I’m like many other people in this hotel on business trip sleeping early to wake up early morning and this housekeeping team is just making my experience horrible with sleepless nights

Spent 2 nights here while on a 14 day tour. At first was put in a smoking room, asked to be changed, and was. But went from King to 2 double beds. Ok for us😉. Shower had full enclosure, no tub. I really HATE those showers with only half a door. Nice grounds, helpful people. Restaurants priced as you would expect for a Hilton. The shocker was no heating!!!! Only AC. For a country where the temperature gets in the 40's (F), that's crazy! In their defense, they did provide a room heater, but really, no heat. Other than that, it's Hilton quality.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night prior to departure from Cairo. It is conveniently located 5 minutes from the airport. While I wouldn’t necessarily make this a vacation spot, I was very impressed with the value for money this hotel offers as well as its outstanding staff. The staff were extremely professional, warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in to when we left. We received a level of care I would expect in a small, high end hotel, although the hotel is huge. The breakfast was surprisingly good with all the food appearing to be very fresh. A host named Nasser took it upon himself to go out of his way to serve us, show us the peacocks in the garden, and bring us specially requested drinks by my daughter. There is a great hair salon in the hotel which is practical. I was expecting just an average night at an airport Hilton, but the staff there actually work very hard to make it a memorable and personalized experience.

I stayed at this hotel for one night as I was departing the next morning for the airport. It was very elegant. I loved my room. It was spacious, clean, and a nice view. There were many restaurants here at this hotel. There was live music in the huge lobby, but it wasn't loud. Again, everything was done with elegance. We had dinner here. When traveling to Egypt, you are advised not to drink or brush your teeth with tap water. Bottle water is recommended. Also, when eating, for safety, one should only eat cooked foods and fruits that come in a skin like bananas, oranges, melons, etc. I'm happy to say that at this hotel you can eat the salads and mine was delicious. My entire dinner was delicious. To be honest, I stayed in Egypt for 10 days, and all the food I had was delicious.

at the entrance we were met by someone extremely unprofessional and obviously unfit to work in customer service. we wanted to leave our car with the valet & bring in our suitcases for check in and he said in a very casual manner "well we don't have anyone available to park your car, just tell her(referring to my sister) to go park it herself & he started giving instructions of where to go) i had to insist that as we gave luggage he must find us a different solution & he seemed very burdened by our request like he's doing us a favor and finally advised us to park by the entrance till someone helps him. another issue was the weird piece of paper they give you once you leave your luggage at the reception stating (the hotel is not responsible for any THEFT) excuse me!!! the receptionist ladies, the room service attendees & the house keeping staff were professional and polite. but as an overall experience, this place was definitely not worthy of the Hilton name. we stayed in the Hilton in many cities worldwide and are members of the loyalty membership & this Hilton was the worst by far. The quality of the room was pathetic, the windows look like it's been installed by an amateur lazy developer at the last minute.

Went to a wedding here a couple weeks ago. The hotel lobby was just immaculate! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wedding was held in a ballroom/conference room on the lower level. Even though the music was extremely loud, you couldn’t hear it until you were close to the room. Parking on-site was small, but enough to accommodate the hotel guests and wedding party attendees. Pay for parking, but it’s not expensive.

Loved this hotel, especially: the Thai and Chinese restaurants: pricey for Egypt but really authentic and delicious. But what really made the difference was the exceptional service I got at the health club, which was free for guests: starting with an incredibly warm and sincere reception from Ghada, who chatted like an old friend and brought me tea, to the gentlemen who guided me through the dry and steam saunas and jacuzzi, gave me water, added menthol to the steam for my cold - it was truly awesome. We were there for only 2 nights unfortunately but I visited both times.

My recent stay at the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis was nothing short of exceptional, earning this hotel a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. One of the standout aspects of my experience was the hotel's commitment to providing outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, every member exhibited a genuine dedication to making guests feel valued and well-cared-for, creating a positive and memorable experience. In addition to the impeccable service, the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis maintained a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. The rooms were not only spotless but also thoughtfully designed for comfort. The plush bedding, modern furnishings, and well-appointed amenities contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. A noteworthy highlight was the outstanding Lebanese restaurant on-site. The culinary experience was truly exceptional, offering a delightful array of authentic dishes that showcased the hotel's commitment to providing a diverse and satisfying dining experience. Overall, the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis exceeded expectations with its exceptional customer service, pristine accommodations, and outstanding culinary offerings, making it a top-notch choice for travelers seeking a memorable stay in Cairo.

Excellent hotel. Good staff. The person who I think is the best staff is Ahmed Abdullah. He has provided me with an excellent service. Always there to assist me. I think he is a great asset to Hilton Cairo. Overall rooms are good and excellent restaurant choices.

Was there 2 days ago for business trip. I have booked for a king bed but only twin beds were available. The room I was in (ground floor, pool view) need some renovation and was definitely not worth the price asked. Will probably not come back in the near future.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Cairo and had a somewhat mixed experience. While the hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, there were a few issues that detracted from my overall enjoyment. Firstly, the pillows provided in the room were quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, despite requesting a 1 bedroom suite with king bed, I was initially given a twin room, which was not what I had expected. Another disappointing aspect was the poor room service. I was surprised to find out that despite beer being advertised on the room service menu, it was not actually available. When I inquired about this, the staff informed me that I would have to go to the restaurant to get it myself, which was not the level of service I had anticipated from a Hilton hotel. On the positive side, the hotel's facilities and amenities were generally good, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. However, the issues with the pillows, room type, and room service were disappointing and affected my overall impression of the hotel

Staff were all excellent and very helpful. The breakfast restaurant was amazing! Even the director/manager in that restaurant was super sweet and helpful, and he even went out of his way to help me call a local pharmacy because my daughter wasn’t feeling well!!! Rooms are stunning! We appreciated being offered an upgrade for a small amount! Highly recommend and so close to the airport and malls/shopping centers.

My stay was excellent because all the staff that I had interacted with, wanted to make my stay better and brighter! Everyone is very professional and friendly. Special thanks to two amazing employees from the front desk, Dinah Salah and Martina Nail. They have answered all my requests and made sure I was happy with my stay. Pool is amazing and Ibrahim was THE BEST. Keep it going! Thanks a lot.

We stayed there for 5 nights. We loved the hotel. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Hotel location is great and everyone met us with a smile and was very attentive to our needs. I would like to recognize Sayed - the server in the breakfast restaurant - since he was very helpful and friendly to us. This hotel is highly recommended.

One of the best Hilton properties. Best customer service. Nice swiming pool. Great food selection. Staff very helpful and friendly. This is my second time in this hotel this year and will not be my last. I solute to the management for their outstanding management style of this Hotel and for having an outstanding staff with outstanding customer service and very helpful staff in every area. This stay had restored my faith with Egypt Hilton brand specifically after I had terrible experience with my stay at Hilton Ramses. Which was the worst customer service in any hotel you can find. I will post different post for that Ramses property

They allow smoking in the hotel. It’s really disgusting, and the smell permeates every bar and restaurant here. Impossible to enjoy the lounge areas or a meal with the stench. Hard to believe it’s allowed in this decade. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Excellent hotel. Very clean, extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was outstanding, hot and cold foods, breads, pastries, fruits, cereals omelette station. Also ate at 2 of the restaurants, Italian, Egyptian. Food was delicious at both. I would definitely recommend the Hilton.

Wow! The service at this hotel is fantastic! They are so attentive and professional. The breakfast is great along with many restaurant options for lunch and dinner. It's very close to the airport and about 30mins or less to many attractions. The peacocks are pleasant as well. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Second time I come to the hotel…last time was last week (Monday 30 Aug 21 to Thursday 2 Sep 21) and today I just checked in… Today as I entered my room I found a used napkin on the bathroom napkin top which means no way this room has been sanitized as COVID-19 mitigation measures!! Also, last week when I was here, and as the room was being cleaned up, the refill of any unused shampoo bottles, shower gel, or the face-mask and hand gel kit… I called once asking for a replacement laundry bag and a face mask kit then I left the room to return back found a “used” laundry bag (it was very clear how crunchy the bag was) and no face mask… The house keeping service is very poor especially with the COVID-19 wave-4 ongoing. last but not least, at first time I arrived here (30 Aug) they put me in a non smoking room (without asking if I am a smoker or not) equipped with Nespresso machine, there was a dental kit in the bathroom and when I asked to be transferred to a smoking room, there was no coffee machine and no dental kit and when I called and ask why I don’t see these stuff in my new room, the reply was these stuff (coffee machine, dental kit..etc) are only for floor#5 — knowing that my company pays the same rate..i.e: the smoking room at floor#2 isn’t any cheaper!!

This stay was at the tail end of my two week business trip and up until then I was extremely disappointed with the hospitality and quality of stays. Sarah and her staff completely changed that for me. From the moment she emailed me about my stay, she was very responsive and accommodated all of my requests. I only wish I had stayed for the full two weeks. If you are thinking of staying at any hotel in Cairo, this is the only one worth staying at. You will not be disappointed. The food is excellent, all the rooms are renovated and super clean and the service is 7 stars! I look forward to coming back to Cairo and staying at the Hilton Heliopolis.

Loud parties every single night will leave you dreaming about sleep… I moved here from Intercontinental Citystars and although this hotel is fancier in its design, it’s so much behind when it comes to service and quality. Seriously, what on earth makes a 5 star Hilton hotel not consider the guests when throwing loud wedding parties every day? The minimum you should do is inform the guests at check in. Some of us travel for work and the main service we use is a night sleep, if we can’t have that then we won’t stay at this hotel again, no matter how beautiful it is. Also, why serve coffee in take away cups to guest that just sat down to have breakfast?

The hotel is big, with a great pool, gym, spa and plenty of restaurants from different countries. Breakfast is good, as well as the catering in case you are in need of. It was a great experience also the Hilton members dedicated staff. The check-in process is a bit longer than normal, but very accurate.

Very close to the airport with amazing facilities and different restaurants, plenty of leisure options (pools, bars, casino etc.) However we had a very bad experience because we didn't have any hot water during our entire stay (3 nights) and even though we reported it multiple times we ended up having cold showers every day (including one at 4 am on departure day). We also didn't have any soap to wash our hands. Very disappointing.

Lots of space, huge lounge and many speciality restaurants are the plus point for the landmark hotel. Huge breakfast area and sumptuous menu is another high. Having a tiny 24 hours bank at the ground floor helps a lot when it comes to exchange currency. The backyard garden with peacocks and the well laid swimming pool added charm to the place. The only point of irritation is the rooms decor is outdated, staff do not respond on phone and check-in and check-out is a nightmare. Difficult to get a proper invoice and staff simply don't understand why its important!

  • 3/5 Kenny G. 1 year ago on Google
It was only for one night but I would still say it was the most comfortable bed and nicest hotel during my trip to Egypt. Butt with the area being a bad place for non-locals to drink the water there was none provided while each other location it was. I did find the staff to be very polite and courteous.

We checked in late at around 12 on 23 October and booked for pool view cabana rooms assumed to be good.. but first of all at around 12 the staff at the reception including the manager are rude. I requested for complimentary breakfast for that they refused rudely. Then the rooms given in the darkest corner of the hotel side. It's on the first floor without elevator and knowing that we have elders with us, but they didn't pay any attention to it. Also the corridor to our room has no light. The bathroom door is bot locking. The head of the bed is torn. Overall the rooms are in pathetic condition. We have stayed in Hilton before but never seen such bad and rude hospitality.. would never recommend this to anyone.

A great hotel with a large selection of restaurants, if you don't have time to go out. Swimming pools are great. However, don't expect good coffee at the (usually very busy) breakfast. For some reason they make it extremely weak!
