One of the best and oldest clubs in Egypt. A lot of greenery and sitting area. They have several pools, tennis courts, squash courts, croquet, gyms and spaces for martial arts and yoga. It's only members club. There's several restaurants and coffee shops here as well.

One of the few very well preserved places left in Cairo almost untouched since the 50s. A sporting club that offers a wide range of facilities for almost every and all sports. Some of the best clay tennis courts, and one of the most renowned gold courses in the heart of Cairo. Some of the trees there go way back in time and have been planted there since the 50s. It also offers many social areas with convenient outlets with very affordable prices. A true gem lying on the island of Zamalek in the heart of Cairo.

Great sporting club with plenty of greenery and quiet, and which has something to offer for all ages. The kids area has many playgrounds, which are suitable for kids of various ages, and also has shaded spots. The play structures seemed to be in good condition. The pools were clean enough, although the locker rooms could benefit from some renovating. There are also shallow pools for smaller kids, who can't yet swim. All in all, a lovely place to spend your leisure time.

Lovely , very cosy & clean , still the best community to mingle with, best walking track, you can go out to do your sports, enjoy the pool, relax with your friends & family or even have dinner at very reasonable prices, beside the cats became obviously fewer all over the club than before.

Iconic, historic and full of life. Classy club on the beautiful island of Zamalek. Horse riding, golf, football, tennis, squash, basketball are just a few of the sports you can do here. Two gyms, an Olympic size swimming pool, a state of the art gymnastics hall built in the last 3 years. Best part about the club is the members. Well kept, elegant people from around Cairo frequent the Gezira Club. HSBC office available, too as well as a variety of food options. God bless GSC. A historic marvel.

The club restaurant is very good with excellent service. I totally recommend the food there. Otherwise, the club doesn't offer much sport activities for adults..

I used the 18 hole golf course (9 holes with different greens) at this club. I'm a casual player, played 9 and had a great time! I hired clubs and balls for my round and a caddy was provided. His name was Rogee and was an awesome man and caddy. Even gave me a few tips! Clubs were dated but fine for me. Total Cost = 700 EGP Entry to Giza sport club (international admission) - 170 Clubs and balls - 220 Green fees - 80 Tip (optional) - 230 I'm an average 30 year old Kiwi on an average salary. Best sporting club in Egypt. Lots of green area, all sport facilities available, Olympic pool. Several coffee shops, fresh juice stand. It has an oriental restaurant “my Corner’ serving breakfast foul and ta3mia. Also has a grilled chicken restaurant. Very convenient the HSBC BANK and the post office. It also has a pharmacy, Baraka for eyewear and inter sport for buying sports equipment

One of the best places in Cairo / Egypt for chilling, sporting, golf, swimming but definitely it requires tickets with a member or seasonal membership for non-Egyptians, but you will have a great place 2nd to your home to chill out and relax, no need to add photos i guess since others have better photography skills than i am 😅

An oasis in the middle of Cairo. Facilities for practically every sport including a nine hole golf course and two swimming pools as well as a Number of the news for coffee and meals. Membership in this historic place makes life in Cairo much more pleasant.

A place to chill out ,it was like a paradise but unfortunately it doesn't have variety of restaurants in the food court

You know what would be amazing? All the members of this private club can get together and turn the golf course into a beautiful central public park for the people of Cairo, similar to Central Park or even better. So much potential. What a lasting legacy for the members.

Percect for spending the day outdoors. You need to be a member though. For club members, prices are very reasonable for all services, activities, drinks and even restaurants inside the club.

A wonderful place, there are many plants and greenery inside, a real park atmosphere. the games are very modern, an experience for children. there are many sports opportunities. clean, beautiful environment. with a well-located canteen. a real complex.

Very well established, and members are very pleasant. There are different restaurants offering a variety of food for reasonable prices. Pets are allowed and have a special area to wonder about.

We only used the play area for our toddler and it was great and we met lots of other like minded families there , well worth the visit

Beautiful facilities. Can play tennis and golf and a few other sports Unfortunately, no one really speaks English that works there. Entrance is 160 LE. We played golf and were told we need a caddy. He ended up charging 300LE for 18 holes.

It is a private club. Additionally, there are numerous eateries and coffee shops in this area. The only problem was that the cats had no boundaries, despite the excellent cuisine and lovely atmosphere.

Well organised... security strictly followed,.. kiosk, restaurant, coffee shop... clean and staff are helpful.

If u want to enjoy open air with affordable prices for everything but unfortunately it is for members only. U can eat and drink and enjoy fresh air with reasonable prices. I love to eat in the elite restaurant specially on Sunday for Molakhia.

Many sports to choose from with qualified trainers and there is terrific resaurants with delicious food as well beside the social life it is amazing , ths cafe is agnificent with their famous ice blended and capiccino and there is Mcdonald restaurant too

This club sits on a large real estate in downtown Zamalek. It is the oldest sporting clubs in Cairo and have many programs to make it appealing. It has a 9 hole golf course with an interesting 18 hole setup. (9 holes but 18 fairways). Beautiful horse stables sporting it's old British colonial heritage. Plenty clay tennis courts, football (soccer) fields, basketball courts, swimming pools, gym, croquet fields, running tracks, volleyball courts etc. Needless to say it is a wonderful facility. The reason for not giving 5 stars is as follows: 1. Expensive, which would be acceptable as foreigners, however there is none around to make this happen. 2. No corporate office to dazzle with a marketing pitch or attempts to sell membership. 3. It feels like trying to enter Fort Knox, a lot of security (OK), but with such international clientele not many English speakers at the gates. 4. One off ticket is 150 EGP, which can be purchased at one gate only #1 even though there are many entrances along the fence line. 5. Lot of repairs and construction going on around the property.

The food was wonderful and the atmosphere very nice, the only issue was the cats didn’t have any boundaries.
