Whenever I crave sushi, Garnell is my place. 💙🍣 I’ve been to different branches Nasr city/ Maadi/ Zamalik I went to Maadi branch twice (50 pieces/70 pieces) I’m in love with their fried sushi, not a big fan of the rolls. Every time I go to this branch, I meet the nicest staff ever. I strongly recommend (Hot Lemon- Golden lemon - Black dynamite) 💙 and you can have sweet chilli sauce next to it 👍🏻

Very good sushi, nice ambience, friendly staff and a wonderful location. The place was overcrowded on Friday, but it was very good during the week. Prices are good for the value of food you get. It's definitely a place to go to. Definitely coming back regularly. I do recommend it to others, a must try.

Higher end sushi restaurant in a very green and quiet part of Maadi. Seating is available both inside and outside. In spite of the good reviews, I wasn't floored by the dining-in experience: - the restroom was dirty - we had trouble communicating in English - the AC was on max so that it felt like in a freezer inside - some dishes were not available On the plus side, the sushi was excellent.

Overall a good experience, if you are lucky enough to be seated outdoors where it is not so stuffy. The food if you pick your cards right is good, however there are some pieces that are plain tasteless especially in the hosomaki section.

Sushi is always fresh and delicious; plus the great service and cool, relaxed ambience make it a constant favorite. Both dine-in and delivery’s great. Seating’s limited though, so expect a waiting list on busy days and weekends.

One of the best Sushi places in the whole region. I loved Zamalek & 5th settlement branches more however this one is so cozy and very polite staff. A bit pricey but perfect taste and value for money ❤️ They are highly recommended for people who try Sushi for the first time as they will never regret.

What I like about Garnell is the consistency. Tasty sushi rolls, a variety of options you can choose from, good service and the prices are acceptable. My only complain would be how sometimes their sushi rolls aren’t that fresh.

Sometimes everything about this place is 5 and other times they are not that good and the quality is not consistent But overall all I love it and I will keep visiting it

Good prices, the atmosphere indoors and outdoors is good, service is good and the sushi is amazing! Maybe u would like to try their soup as well 😋. P.S. there are two adorable cats in the outdoor section, if u r afraid of cats stay in the indoors and if u r not, feed and/or cuddle them 😃

Went for dinner , the place is small indoor and outdoor, didn't like at all the sushi , we sat outside it was hot and they have big fan that they didn't open , and it was not suitable for the place it's too close to the tables

Portions are really good, prices are reasonable, yet the taste and the recipes are not up to the expectations, although the place is very famous but it was my first time to try it, it’s really heavy with too much mayo on every pieces, it taste like an Egyptian sushi version. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

Great food, nice presentation, very good prices. But the atmosphere is noisy both inside and outside, especially outside because of the fans, and the waiters are busy. The food itself comes quickly but getting waiters attention takes time. The clientele is mostly Egyptians and young. It is a very family friendly restaurant. The most fresh sushi I have ever tasted. The hot lemon piece tastes so good and california is so fresh and you can taste all the ingredients. Crunchy shrimp is my favorite♥

The food and our server were great, Overall ok experience and it could be even better if the only bathroom were open and I couldn't wash my hands, and manager Mark informed me about it in an unpleasant way:( Tips for management about the menu; please remove the five pieces minimum for sashimi. I was the only one who ate it and could not order, and please remove 5 or 10 pieces, so someone like me doesn't have to eat five pieces of ONLY salmon Sashimi:) I could order 2 Salmon, 2 Ika, and 2 Ebi, which will cost more, but I would be a happy camper instead of ordering five salmon Sashimi. Lastly, all plates were chipped; not joking; my group of 6 all had chipped plates, including my sister's kids had to eat from chipped plates which, in a way not safe, and I was going to leave when the server told me that all dishes in the restaurant are chipped, and they will be replacing the plates next week! Still, my niece wanted to eat Suchi at Garnell's, and I didn't want to upset her. The Sushi was fresh and delicious, but the experience would be even better if they had paid attention to the details. So I will remove one star for the lack of details

Great sushi with a nice variety of menu. The prices are mid range but they have great combo sets. The place is very cozy and modern and the staff is so welcoming. Visited in jan 2020.

Im not a sushi person but I liked theirs. They serve really good fried sushi, and the service and staff are so professional. You will experience a very calm atmosphere. The quality and prices are very suitable compared with other sushi bars. They serve combos with good prices 15/30/50/70 pieces.

Super cool .. even in Ramadan..always well organized and though we arrived late the food wasn't cold .. and served just on time perfectly .. the seafood soup is maddeningly tasty. As usual yesterday was another awesome experience at Garnell

Good sushi place. The service is nice. Pick your sushi mix and enjoy the good weather in the outdoor smoking area. Or the busy indoor diner style seating. They serve soft drinks so no caffeine for you except that Pepsi can. As it's a nice place except a waiting of 10-15 min if you are in the busy nights. Tip you can wait or have your Coffe in the next door Bells Cafe

the sushi is amazing and the dining atmosphere as well, but honestly that's just their best menu item. I wouldn't recommend other dishes, we tried the noodles and the salmon platter before and it wasn't the best experience. the food soo oily and the salmon platter was on the small side although it was a main dish, plus it wasn't seasoned enough. so just go for the sushi you'll have an amazing experience.
