Luxor Old Nile Hotel

Bed and breakfast

😠 The rooms are terrible! Bed linen is dirty! The owner pretends to be a kind guy, but in reality he is a typical street crook. While we were not in the room, someone came in and rummaged through our things in search of money and valuables. Be careful don't visit this place! People often mention good, owner, stay, nice, staff, clean, time,

We had the most relaxing, welcoming, stay, connected with the space and the water. Kids went fishing and canoing, they helped us set up all our activities for a good price and the location is ideal. Great relationship price quality. Goda is such a fun guy, he really uplifts people so much. Thank you to him, Mustafa and the staff for giving us a little piece of Nile Heaven.

Calm and beautiful place, with clean rooms. The owner and his assistant are very helpful. However, be careful when booking online as they are expecting you to pay in foreign currency. They will apply the black market rate if you pay in Egyptian pounds, which is currently 40% higher than the real rate

Mustafa is a real helper. He won't let you be lost in Egypt. He will guide you, just as Guardian Angels do. Cheap food, cheap travel, good quality of living. Additionally the place is perfect. Small lake and banana trees in the background make it all for the better.

It was so beautiful hotel! I’m so sorry that we couldn’t stay more here. It was so calm, clean and all stuff were so helpful, friendly. If you want to relax you should definitely come here. It’s also very close to ferry on west side. And they arrange the transport to temples and valley of kings. Thank you for everything.

Calm and nice place in the west bank, very close to the public ferry. The place is surrounded by nature. Room and bathrooms big and clean. Breackfast is very good and good price.

By far the best place to stay on the West Bank if you want to experience something else rather than a hotel. The guys are relaxed and kind. The property faces a canal where you can fish and use the boat. Food is great, so is the art, garden, vibes. PS: if you love cats, you'll love the place Fully recommend

What can I say.. this hotel captured my heart .. what a place to unwind .. My family and I stayed for 4 nights here and wish we had time to stay for longer .. The staff are so very friendly and attentive , always willing to help .. My kids learned to fish while we relaxed. It's a 15 min ride to the temples . Habu / Valley of the Kings / Queens All worth seeing and a 2 min boat ride to East side . . We are already planning our trip back to this location..

The experience was absolutely wonderful! Mustapha and Goda were very friendly from beginning to end! Mustapha helped with scheduling the tours and Goda was always available to resolve anything we needed. He also gave several tips, such as the cheapest Ferry and even helped with communicating with a driver who would take us to Aswan. Furthermore, the environment is very welcoming, peaceful and everyone treats you like family. I recommend it with my eyes closed!

peaceful and beautiful place, with good food places close by. However be careful when booking online as they are expecting you to pay in foreign currency. You must have change b with you to pay the exact amount. We had to pay in USD but when we paid in GBP, the owner practically charged us 11% more. He promised us to provide breakfast in the morning but the staff didn't show up on time and we had to leave as our your was picking us up. They will apply the black market rate if you pay in Egyptian pounds, which is currently 30-40% higher than the real rate. they were helpful with an early check in, and with advising us about nice places to eat or to relax.

Amazing place to rest and enjoy you time from busy days exploring the temples. Rooms are great, food amazing, and they let you use the little rowing boat and fishing equipment! Thanks for all the hospitality guys!

Can’t say much about the place as the owner overbooked and didn’t care that we didn’t have a place where to sleep when we arrive at midnight after a train being delayed…if you book there be sure the owner doesn’t forget you !!!!!!!!

👍👍 A wonderful hostel where you really can relax and hear the birds in the garden. The theme is Peace and Freedom like the name. The decorations are in the Jamaican colors and there is even a painting of Bob Marley on one of the walls. There are some trees in the garden as well giving shade. Even the...
