Great place to stay! Habib was super hospitable and cordial. Very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean, had AC, balconies and a private but separate bathroom. Had a self service fridge with water, snacks, tea and coffee included. Breakfast area on the terrace was amazing and peaceful. Breakfast was plentiful and was served as you arrived or scheduled the previous day. Close walk to the public ferry and the tombs. Highly recommended

We arrived at 2 am and our host made sure we installed ourselves in the room. Breakfast takes place at another Nubian village (transportation was included) right on the Nile, one of the best views I could have asked for. We had to meet our guide at the other side of Aswan and the port to take the local ferry is just a couple of minutes away. Habibs place (and also his sister property) were amazing. Dont skip the breakfast!

I loved this beautiful, quiet place. I felt like I was in my other home. You can feel the spirit of the ancient Egyptian nobility who were buried in this area.

I was a bit skeptical because there were only good reviews and something it mean fake reviews but this is truly a five star Guesthouse if you want to experiment true nubian life style ! The family is wonderful ! You can even rent a sailing boat for a good price 😊

The guesthouse is in the middle of an authentic Nubian village. The people in the village are extremely kind. Habib is always there to help. Really an ´off the beaten track’ experience !

Habibi and his guesthouse was absolutely amazing. They helped us with the ferry and transportation to and from which was free. The host speaks great English and was ready to assist us with anything we needed, food, drink, laundry, transportation, etc. The rooms are spacious and comfortable it was great coming here to relax and be care free after travelling. The only negative thing I have to say is that we couldn’t stay longer!

We are a backpackers couple and is quite a challange to travel by free in Egypt. It was so amazing to find this beautiful place in Aswan! Is located in a local and calm village close to the ferry. The Captain Habibi is really an honest host he will help you with everything you need. Also don't hesitate to book tours with him! The food is also amazing and abundant homemade food 😍 Also OMG with a clean room and bathroom!!! Is really an amazing place!!! Thanks for everything!!!

What an excellent host Habib is, welcoming, knowledgeable, making sure all needs are met. Room was spacious, clean and decorated in traditional style. The home cooked Nubian dinner was delicious and plentiful. Sit overlooking the beautiful city of Aswan and the Nile River. Perfect for staying the night before jumping on my Nile Cruise. Tell your friends, this is a gem!

Amazing host and super friendly guy, the host and the owner mr. habib saad eldin will Help you get around aswan like a real local, his place is super clean and ready with ACs and heaters. Bathrooms are clean with hot water available, the nubian House is located on the west bank of aswan at Naga el Hawa (right next to the tombs of nobles) and you can get there using the public ferry on the nile in front of the train station (2 pounds), and then walk for like 500 metres, the location is so accurate in maps. Stayed there for 3 nights

Mr Habib is the best. I called him 30min before arriving in Aswan and he found me a room straight away. He even provided us some bottles of water. The place is stunning. Very, very clean. Breakfast was really good. Everything fresh. We loved the place. We recommend it dor families and dor backpackers. The room was really big. It had air conditioning and there was no flies at all. They even had those fly killers in the power socket. Very close to the ferry which croses over every 5 minutos, and it takes another 5 to cross the nile. Very cheap, 5egp per person. Beutifull view on the city. He has another place with a perfect terrace. We loved it

habibi is a very good host, he can arrange anything we need, such as sunset sailboat, Henna painting, and a car to Luxor, the meal at his house is also delicious, if I go to Aswan again Will definitely stay at his house again!!

The location was in the middle of a nubian village in Aswan. For an adventurous traveler like me it was the perfect local experience. Playing football with the nubian kids, getting good food in the neighbour's Guesthouse, and enjoying a great service by Habib and his family made the trip to Aswan a great experience. It was clean and beds were very comfy. But the best of all were the local people! So kind, friendly and not as intrusive as in the city centre or other big Egyptian cities.

Great stay in Habibi’s Guesthouse! As of Dec 2021, Google directions does not show the fastest route since the closest ferry is not recognized just yet. In reality it is around 10-15min from train station. To get there from the train station just walk straight and take the ferry you will found at the end of the street (5EGP per person). Once on the other side, turn right and it is a couple of minutes walk. Clean, good price and super great advices on prices and transportation. Definitely I would recommend to stay with Habibi.

Great place if you need a few nights in Aswan and need clean friendly place that is not too expensive and has a homely feel, on the quiet west Bank it was perfect for 3 females sharing a large apartment. All towels cooking facilities etc we stayed for 6 nights Netflix and WiFi were great and we were more than happy. The family also own another place 2 mins away where you can have meals if you don't want to cook they also serve beer not many places seem to. Lots of hot water too and short walk to public ferry if you wish to go over to the east of the Nile. Thank you Kat and Habib

Habib is a wonderful host. VERY helpful on all accounts. Strong WiFi which is extremely rare in Egypt, hot water and a comfy bed. On request, Habibi arranged multiple drivers to the Tourist locations enabling us to cover a lot of ground in a relatively short period of time. We liked it so much that we actually extended our stay at Habib's and commuted to Luxor from his place. There is a pharmacy & small food market that sells fresh product in short walking distance. It's a short ride or walk to the ferry to cross the river to the city. The local Nubian ppl were welcoming and very approachable. Btm line a very authentic experience with many comforts..I would definetely return.
