Google says it's closed, but we were eating there 4 days ago and it was opened. Great, friendly owner and chef. Delicious fulfilling food, low prices, very clean, toilet, very modern comparing to others around. Highly recommended

Cute family restaurant with delicious food and quiet atmosphere. Was there twice and both times were great. The owner and his kids are very kind and pleasant people. First time I ordered small Nile fish portion and got 2 fishes at once which was very tasty. Next time I took kofta and it had very rich grilled taste😋 All main dishes served with cucumber-tomato salad, pita, tahini and rice-vermicelli. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely family restaurant, the dad is the cook, the son helps, and the daughter serves the food. The space was a bit narrow, but bright and nice. However, the plates were not tidy enough. It could be wise to wipe them with napkins. The food was good, but the skin of grilled fish was rather salty for us.

This family owned restaurant was my favorite dinner spot between all of the hotels and restaurants we tried across Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and Sharm El-Sheikh. The father cooks, his daughter serves and his son gets the door and helps out here and there. Amazing food for such a great price: $10 USD all-in with drinks and a feast of grilled fish for two. Definitely go here if you want the authentic egyptian food experience!

Simple menu, quick service, tasty food! This small restaurant turned out to be an excellent choice as I walked past and the owner greeted the hungry me. This friendliness continued throughout my visit, when he offered me a second serving of rice and salad. Ismailia is across the road a bigger well frequented local restaurant which offers a similar menu at twice the price, so you really can't go wrong with their offer.

Small and kindly family restaurant. Few clean tables inside. The carta have some pictures (really helpful!). Food is tasty. Good value for money. One of the bests restaurants we had been on Egypt.

I really like this small family run restaurant, I have eaten here twice and both times the food was lovely and cooked with care. The 2nd time it was the young (21) daughter who cooked and she did a really good job. The prices are also really fair. I will eat here again when I come to Aswan and highly recommend it.

Wonderful haven to escape the scorching Egyptian sun with wonderful meals and very friendly owner. I had hillah kebab, and it was so delicious that I ate every bit of it. 10 out of 10!

The place is tiny and only have a few tables. We had to wait but it was definitely worth it. Tourists frequent this restaurant but it doesn't feel touristy. They serve homemade local food, the family who runs the restaurant is friendly and the price is very reasonable. Can't miss the grilled fish! If we were in Aswan for another night, we would have returned for another dinner.

Beautiful clean family owned restaurant. Not a tourist trap. Lovely people who run it. Grilled fish is amazing and so is everything else. Fair prices as well which is a rare thing. This is the place to eat !! if you’re in Aswan. Support such family run places and not popular tourist traps. This place is highly recommended. 5 stars !

Amazing and kind service. We've gotten more food to try than we ordered (soup and ocra tajin), which was very nice. Although chicken was dry, it was tasty. The fish was a bit on a salty side on the crust and definitely bony. Nevertheless, would recommend this small and cozy place with great service.

Family owned restaurant with delicious food and attentive service. Clear menu with English translation and the waitress was kind and very focus to help to understand the differences of size and type of meals. Vegan friendly and fresh and tasteful fresh squeezed lemonade with mint. A great surprise as we were browsing restaurants on that street 1h before Ramadan breakfast. Highly recommended

Even though it is a small restaurant, people are humble and prompt service. Food is tasty and very, very reasonable considering the other places. You can get a vegetarian meal for 80 EGP and a non vegetarian meal for 100 -120 EGP. Which includes soup, salad, rice, bread, and one curry.

Cute family owned restaurant in the heart of Aswan and the market. The fish is very good and the meal comes with all sorts of Egyptian starters for a good price. The menu has transition in English so ordering was easy. Highly recommend stopping by.

A local restaurant. A good resting place for the midday heat. Grilled fish (150 LE ) surface is burnt with a lot of bones but maybe it’s their cooking style. Tawook (130 LE) is relatively plain. 25 for drinks. There’s a recent price rise for each dish of about 30LE (compared with menu picture in April 2023). Still cheaper than the Al Masry opposite the street, min. 275LE per dish.

😠 A place that scams the tourists. The English menu is triple the price of the Arabic menu, they wanted to charge us 480 EGP for one fish meal and it is only 150 EGP on Arabic menu, just ridiculous. DON’T GO!
