Had the best weekend at Hotel Sigiriya with the family. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The view from the pool is amazing! The food was very delicious and we really enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and the dinner buffets. The staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a really great time. Will definitely visit again!

The hotel is fabulous and the staff is fantastic! Restaurant food is amazing and the staff is super responsive. I had an Hopper everyday and only had to tell the guy once how i liked it. Every morning he had my perfect Hopper made exactly the way I loved it. The room as beautifully and perfectly cleaned… every morning they would make cute animal shaped towels, a super lovely touch. We travelled all around Sri Lanka and could not find one place where they served a decent cocktail, but at this hotel they were perfect! The pool view is breathtaking and the lovely guy who looks after that area makes your experience even more pleasant… bringing cushions, towels or whatever you need. And last but not least, the Spa… my friend and I got a full body massage….that felt like heaven. The mussels of my thigh was really stiff from working out… the lady who massaged me did not stop until the tension was released. If you want to relax in a gorgeous hotel and be server by amazing people, that is your place!!

I loved this hotel. I stayed here our my honeymoon. The location was great, the room was big and clean, and staff were friendly and accommodating. The pool was very nice. Our favorite part was the buffet - it was so good! Lots of variety and options. I'm vegetarian and had plenty to eat. We loved staying in the middle of the jungle.

We stayed 2 days ago and it was the most wonderful experience.The hotel welcome was wonderful. The hotel is so beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. We can see great sigiriya from pool. It was fantastic view. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Excellent customer service. Their buffet was superb with a good variety, delicious foods, and desserts. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. it’s an unforgettable experience. We would definitely visit this place once again.

Good and friendly staff. The location was good, Beautiful view, you could see the lions rock from the pool and sitting area. But i will not recommend the food. No much of selection at the Buffet and the same dishes was available for the lunch Buffet and Dinner, there was flies all over the place on food and cats running around in the restaurant Beautiful room with King size bed, room was clean no Bath mat tho and balcony was not cleaned chairs was with dust i guess it has not been cleaned for couple of days.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was very hospitable. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and the staff even appreciated our visit to the hotel as local visitors in the midst of Covid19 situation. Specifically I must talk about the delicious food they serve. We stayed one night in the hotel and we experienced the best meals. At the end of the day, me and my family were very much satisfied with all the beautiful time we spent together at the hotel. That is what matters me the most. I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to enjoy fantastic stay with their families 😇🥰 I would love to return next year! This is a nice hotel located in a calm and quiet environment near Sigiriya. Can have a beautiful view of Sigiriya rock from the hotel. I visited there in October, 2022 with my wife and baby. Although this is a 3 star hotel, we got an excellent service and facilities from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Also had a great variety of delicious food. Buffet was available even with less crowd.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Sigiriya. The location was amazing, and the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Chaminda at the hotel restaurant was especially courteous and made us feel very welcome and at ease. Highly recommend a stay here for anyone travelling to the region.

Hotel Sigiriya is a lovely hotel with the amazing views of the Lions Rock , the majority of staff who are very helpful. Food is varied and tasty we had breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had the Superior Room which as very spacious. It’s a great hotel , you will not be disappointed.

Can give 5 stars to the view and the surrounding of the hotel. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Dinner buffet and Breakfast buffet breakfast can recommend. We had a very average lunch. Overall it's a 4 star hotel.

Amazing Hotel with a friendly staff Hotel Sigiriya is one of the best hotels I have visited and one of the most amazing hotels in Sigiriya. It has a beautiful view of the Sigiriya rock. It makes you feel like home. The beautiful garden makes you feel you want to stay more and more. We stayed 1day and it still was not enough. The staff was amazing. They made us feel special. I want to specially thank Chaminda(F&B) with his amazing service and the friendly smile. We would definitely come again with all of our family members. Cheers!

Had the one of best weekend at Hotel sigiriya with family. Staff was very friendly. Food was tasty but buffet should have more varieties.Beautiful clean and calm place to enjoy holiday remarkably. Spa was average for charges. We had very beautiful vacation at hotel. Hope to visit again.

The room was nice and spacious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The view on Sigiriya rock is absolutely stunning. The only downside was even though we called in advance to ask the separate beds since I was traveling with a friend, however, after long day the staff brought us to the room with only one bed. I asked them again and after a while they managed to arrange a room with two beds which were stick together.

Loved our 2 nights stay at hotel Sigiriya, the buffet was great with many options. Very nice location, view and swimming pool. The Hotel staff were very friendly and professional. I believe they could do better with the bathrooms cleanness.

Exceptionally courteous staff. Classic buffet with a wide selection of cuisine. All rooms surrounded with greenery. Signature swimming pool, across which the Sigiriya rock is visible.

Stayed here in late May/June for three nights and loved very minute. The outstanding view of the rock is not to be missed sipping a cocktail or by the pool. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, opening to a courtyard and air conditioned. The grounds are attractive, with native plants, and the pool well kept and enticing. The food was excellent with traditional Sri Lankan (which we always take the opportunity to enjoy) and other dishes. They had a hopper station at breakfast when we were there too! The staff from reception to restaurant were all professional and polite I was with a big family group (adults) and this was a highlight for us. I would recommend this place for comfort, vale, location and food. We will come back as soon as possible. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely hotel! The view of Sigiriya Rock from the pool is our favorite spot in the hotel. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Our room boy always surprises as with bed decorations. All the staff ff in restaurant and reception is very friendly.

I'm so regretted to post this review. This was our second stay at this hotel and our first was back in 2019 (or in 2020 maybe) when the hotel was not acquired by the Browns Group. Back in the day, this hotel used to have an amazing buffet with tasty food and unforgettable guest service by the crew. Unfortunately, under Browns Group, everything good about the hotel has lost and I personally hate myself for having a reservation done in here. The buffet has gone down to a level of a 2-star hotel, with very less variety of food. Even the chefs come to the action stations 30 minutes after buffet was opened. (they even forgot to bring the required spices, cheese and other ingredients etc. to make their food items). I don't prefer to waste my words on the restaurant crew! They simply don't care whether the guests are pampered and treated. They just hung around the table, chatting with each other and making fun of foreign guests. Even once my wife asked for a spoon from one of the restaurant crew, he simply ignored the request and asked another one to listen to her request, saying that is not a seating under his supervision. (What was that really??) On another instance, my wife asked for a finger bowl as she was about to switch from savory to sweets, then the girl who is another restaurant crew member said “go to the washroom and wash your hands if needed”. What kind of restaurant practice is that???? When a buffet item was finished, no body refilled the bowl until a guest asks for it. They didn't even care to place the correct label near the correct food item (may be they are pranking the guests?). The guests get only a limited variety of food at the buffet, unlike the time when the Hotel was not under the Browns Group. But yet the available food was not that bad, I should admit. Overall, I feel sorry for the guests that seek for bookings at this place henceforth. And I personally hate the hotel management for letting all these happen, without any care.

Hotel Sigiriya, situated around 1.5 km from the majestic Sigiriya Lion's Rock, offers a beautiful setting. However, it's important to note that the surroundings teem with small animals, lizards, and mosquitoes, so it's advisable to be cautious around them. Unfortunately, the food at the hotel leaves much to be desired. Despite having a variety of breakfast options, the taste falls short of expectations. On a brighter note, the staff is decent, although not exceptional. One of the hotel's highlights is the swimming pool, providing the best view of the Lion's Rock. The rooms are decent, offering a comfortable stay amidst this historical setting.

I’m only rating the bar in the lobby, I did not stay at this hotel. I stopped here and had a Carlsberg beer while I waited for a friend to climb Sigiriya. All the staff I interacted with at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The day I was here, it was raining heavily so the view of Sigiriya wasn’t good, but if the weather is nice you would have a great view of Sigiriya from here.

Hotel that provides views of the rock. Rooms are large & comfortable & accessed by covered paths - useful when it storms. Central restaurant & Bar (Rock views) provide good variety & food nice. There for 2 nights & very pleasant. Pool area is very nice. Lots of monkeys around in the morning to entertain - in trees & on ground. Some of our party had issues with plumbing & a/c & staff responded quickly - hotel was fully booked so limited solutions.

Very pleasant stay in this hotel. Just expect a laid back experience. If you want to unwind, unwind here. Also Sigiriya is visible from the hotel, which is magnificent.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Sigiriya area. My wife and me was there for 31st October and 01st November for full board offer. The food was okay. Since we were there for Sunday and Monday the buffet was not available for Monday lunch. They were somewhat focused on foreigners instead of locals. But overall it was worth for the price which was 21,000 Lkrs.

Stunning view of Sigiriya Rock from the hotel pool. Nice rooms with aircon, fan, and cable TV including western channels like HBO. Plenty of food and drink options for every taste. We spent two nights here and had a great stay.

I have to start with the Ayurveda Villa Spa. Had a massage here today and it was absolutely amazing, I make therapist was so professional and kind. Made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and took all the tension away. Highly recommend this to start a holiday or at anytime to relax. Exceptional service. The hotel itself is oasis of happiness with everything you need on a holiday and the value for money you get in this place is a steal. I’ll definitely come back to stay here. All the staff from the greeting we received from the reception staff to the breakfast staff was unbelievable they were all amazing (super attentive, kind people and hard working). The pool guy was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Not forgetting the chefs especially at breakfast time taking so many requests from us. We were enjoying it so much we extended our stay and booked an extra night. This hotel has left a lasting impression on me for the warm hospitality. Well done to everyone involved in making this hotel so special. I hope to come back soon.

Amazing experience....the head chef and other staff took special efforts to cater to my vegetarian food needs . Good service, rooms and staff. A big applause for the fresh masala tea they prepared for us as per our instructions.

I went there with 7 others in Dec 22. Hotel has a decent view of Sigiriya. Service facility enhance the staying. Dining was superb, there was enough local and international variations. Arrangements for activities inside the hotel is limited.

Great hotel with an amazing view. Well maintained and staff is very well coordinated, and thus they are efficient. Impression, 2 nights of stay will give you plenty of time to enjoy and explore the area and visit all the places. Good place for a vacation.

The room was gorgeous, large and airy. The room had everything you needed and I especially loved the large room. The staff overall were brilliant and went out of their way to help with anything we needed and to check things were all ok. I highly recommended.
