First and foremost there is no hygiene in arranging cuisines at the restaurant. Very bad customer service and behavior of some staff are in a bad manner. Sometimes during my stay, I thought like we are paying to the hotel or they are paying us for staying there. Very bad experience with Oak Ray / Fresco Water villa. Room service will not be available unless and until we follow up with them. The wifi connectivity was very poor. Hot water is not consistent. Not worthy of money. Sugar served in the room is expired.

Sumptuous breakfast and dinner with great service. Hotel was sparsely occupied owing to the fuel crisis and limited travel of locals. But please don't worry about travel, tourist vehicles are prioritized for fuel and everyone in Sri Lanka are extremely friendly and hospitable. Even during riots no tourists are troubled. Definitely visit and explore this beautiful country.

Perfect 3 star hotel, much better than expected on the edge of the jungle. Rooms were comfy and clean. The chef stayed up late for us as we spent too long at Lion Rock and then getting a local jungle massage. Can't fault the hospitality, all service with a genuine smile.

Ideal place to have relaxing time with family. Food is awesome. You might get scenic view depending on which floor you are occupied. Bathrooms are little wear and tear condition, but nothing to complain about.

This hotel provided an incredible experience. The accommodations, in particular, seemed magnificent. and there are teeny small pounds all throughout the rooms. includes a plethora of fish, turtles, and even more. The room service was excellent. even the variety of food that tastes and smells delicious. The entire experience was wonderful.

A nice hotel/restaurant at Sigiriya , Srilanka about 4 hours drive from Colombo. The rooms here are really spacious and well maintained. One good thing is the bathroom and toilet are separate unlike in most other places. It has a private pool and parking space within the property. The dining hall is also spacious and hygiene is taken care. The only minus point is the dishes on offer for vegetarians is limited. A very safe place to visit and stay.

There was water every where, we got 3rd floor room, no lifts, difficult for senior citizens

Fresco Water villa has nice spacious rooms , cosy ambiance, great location, very well behaved and mannered staffs. They also have a nice pool to relax. It’s located very near to Sigriya rock . So I recommend it for people who are looking for nice stay options near Sigriya rock.

Environment - A sense of seaside resort feel when I saw the coconut tree and pool. Room - The room is clean and tidy. The balcony is good place to stay early in the morning. The sunshine is just nice. Food - The poori with veggie curry is nice. Service - Standard service provided. Location - 3km from Sigiriya Lion Stone. So even when I finish Pidurangala in 7pm++, I reach the hotel before 8pm. Facility - Bath tub and swimming pool is available. All the basic things needed in the hotel are available.

Lots of greenery and open space with water villas. Check in process was quick however we were provided with a twin bed instead of king size. Later got it changed to a king bed room which was far away from the pool and on the 2nd floor. Room 316. This room was not well maintained at all. It was a very disappointing stay here. The bed sheets were not clean and had stains on them. The floor was slippery for some reason. The hot water kettle was fully rusted and there were chip off on tea mugs. Also, the food here was even more disappointing. Hardly any spread for vegetarians. There were very few choices with just 2 desserts. Also. Since there is stagnant water in these villas, there are a lot of mosquitoes. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all to anyone.

We went for a spend a day experience at Fresco Water Villa Sigiriya, and we were very delighted and satisfied with their service.. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. It was a beautiful place and had a very calm , serene vibe. Food was delicious and the room was very comfortable and cosy.. Its a great place and also budget friendly

I had a night booking with them Reducing star just because It’s mentioned 4 star hotel But in reality it’s not more than 2 star Facilities provided proved that When you book 4 star you expect 4 star facilities Breakfast and dinner spread was poor Restaurant service staff not paying attention on guests who booked buffet Comforter provided were worst Bad smell coming from in suite toilet in between ( we stayed at ground floor)

This is a famous quarantine resort. Specially for people transmitting to Arab nations. Our travel agent booked this place knowing that I have a 3yr old kid travelling. This was highly risky for my kid to stay here. Wouldn't recommend for people with kids. The staff was rude. The food was bad. They sent us the wrong order first time and burnt the second order too. Not happy with the service! Will never visit again!

Rooms, wash rooms and toilets are clean and good in condition. Buffet is available in weekends. Only 5mins take to reach Sigiriya rock from the hotel. However, you can reach Sigiri rock on foot and, but it will take around 20-30 mins. Further, you can go to Pindurangala rock with in 10mins. The hotel is close to the main road and a parking space is available for all kind of vehicles. Buffet was simple, but food was good so far. The staff was friendly. If you are looking forward to see Sigiriya rock, then this will be the best place to stay. This hotel also provide outsiders to the buffet and it will cost rs 3500 today. There is a large swimming pool opposite to the rooms. Therefore, highly recommended.
