Hotel situated right opposite the lake, have some great views. A large garden area is available with lots of activities you could do. Great place to bring kids and enjoy. There is walking path which you could stroll through the garden and relax. Rooms are well maintained and cozy. Service was great and staff was really friendly and helpful. Foods are delicious and a good variety was also there. Main pool has a good view of the garden and lake. Overall a good place to enjoy that calm and quiet.

Where can I even start? We stayed in this resort for 4 days and from the moment we arrived we were stunned by the wonderful atmosphere, great and friendly staff and the amenities. The pool is so pretty and anytime we would get there we would get towels and sunbathing mattress delivered to our seating area within seconds. We were on our honeymoon so the hotel staff fixed our bed everyday with different heart or animal shapes to celebrate with us. Every evening there was a live singer show in front of the dining room which was very pleasing. One night there was a fire limbo show and it was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the show and had great time. The resort is located right in the jungle, you are able to see so many beautiful plants and animals, with high maintenance level and tree houses and hammocks all around. Just walking around the resort was so pleasuring. The resort manager Lalinga (James) was the best manager I have ever met in my life! He was so friendly, speak to us every evening and make sure we are having the time of our life, he was being so professional and so welcoming that it made us want to stay more! To conclude this - one of the best resorts I have ever visited. Highly recommended!

Very good luxury hotel next to the lake, good service and the staff were very friendly. Huge massive outdoor area with many trees and easy to see many beautiful birds around. They did mosquito spray frequently around the hotel area, which was make the area was more comfy. The foods were good, many option local and international cuisine. But should to try the local foods there.

Great hotel to stay with your loved ones. The staff members were very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were very clean and located in marvelous location. Food were delicious. Worth for spent money and our time. We really enjoyed. They have lot of activities such as cycling, cricket, badminton, boat rides, safari and many more. And also, we enjoyed the boat ride and safari too. Highly recommend for anyone. Excellent place to relax with your loved ones.

A hotel with a calm and beautiful environment ..must appreciate the friendly staff.. You can ride bicycles on hotel premises.. And also we did a boat ride and it was amazing.. Rooms were nice and clean. Buffet is okay but need more variety.. Overall it was a nice and relaxing stay..

A really good hospitality provided. All the meals we got were buffet. The cottages were also good. Very calming environment. Staff service is superb. At night there was a fire dance as well. Live cooking is done in weekends. Overall great experience.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. It is a place to visit specially if you are checking for a place to relax individually or as a family. Very clam nature and well maintained environment. The staff was really kind and helpful to make your stay better. Food was really nice.

Food was really tasty and the buffet spread was just the right size. We stayed at the Kingfisher Lodge, the room has a breath taking view and it was so peaceful and serene. The hotel is well maintained and clean. We enjoyed every part of our stay here and we look forward to come visit again soon, for a longer stay this time.

A very beautiful hotel with a direct location by a lake. The hotel grounds are beautifully designed, well maintained and leave nothing to be desired. In the restaurant you get great food at a buffet with a large selection of local and international cuisine and some live cooking stations. The rooms are immaculate and very well equipped. All the staff, whether at reception, in the restaurant or in housekeeping, are extremely friendly. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

If you’re looking for a one of a kind vacation, Habarana Village by Cinnamon is one of the best choices. From check-in to check-out, it was an awesome experience. The refresh towel provided at check-in was soothing. The rooms were elegantly spaced, with ample amenities. The food was tasty with quite a few good options. The pool was absolutely stunning, with a deep-end of 2.5 metres, and the activities of the hotel were interesting. Overall, the staff was very efficient and extremely helpful. It was one of the best vacations I ever had and looking forward to visit again soon.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room has enough facilities including a locker and ironing board. Check-in and check-out were quick. The food was tasty and varied. Hospitality was also good. You can walk and relax in a beautiful lake with birds. The back side of our room disturbed me.

I loved my time at Habarana Village! The place is peaceful, and the rooms are comfy and clean. But the best part was the people, especially Indunil in the restaurant. He was super helpful, especially with making meals for my baby. The food was delicious, with lots of local flavors. The hotel also has cool activities, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway in Sri Lanka. I really enjoyed my stay, and I totally recommend it for a nice and easy vacation.

Good hotel managed by the Cinnamon chain of hotels. Can enjoy a good eco friendly atmosphere with a good view of Habarana lake. Food is good but can be improved in terms of spread and taste. Service is good.

Overall it was a good experience. After arrival we were asked to wait for a welcome drink but didn't got it even wait for a while. Rooms were clean and nicely arranged. Food was delicious but with limited items. The staff was good at reception. But restaurant and housekeeping is doing a better job 👍. The environment is the most amazing thing about Cinnamon Village where it is ideal to have a good time with kids. All together a wonderful place with a capable team. Highly recommended.

I live ambience of the hotel and the surounding was so calming ans relaxing. Had a nice experience here with my wife. Basically beyond what we expected. Nice staff and so friendly and they are ready to cater our requests all the time. Superd service and food was extraordinary. Hope to visit again with our families.

We were at a deluxe chalet at Cinnamon Village last 4th of May. Had a very warm welcome from the reception. The chalet was spacious, tidy and clean! All meals were nicely arranged as a buffet. Restaurant was very clean! The Staff of the restaurant was very friendly and attentive! It was a fantastic experience for both of us. What a beautiful place this is! Nice bungalows in a park. Birds and monkeys for your entertainment. Clean, perfect service and a restaurant with a rich choice of fresh and well prepared food.

I would choose Cinnamon Village over the neighbouring Cinnamon lodge. As in the name, the village was much more serene, calm and vintage but still maintained that luxury vibe. All in all, such a great experience here! An afternoon walk around the place is so calming. The lake was also a worth a visit at sun down. The staff really looks after you, the manager will almost always be around in the restaurant area for a quick chat too. And I knew that Cinnamon won't let me down with their buffet/food options - it was as always, fabulous!!! Even from a Sri Lankan's perspective, the food was...very tasty!! The rooms were meticulous in their vibe deco. Would definitely visit again!!

If you're looking for a place away from the busy life Habarana Village is just the place. The greenery, the lake, and the wind will soothe your soul and let you unwind. We stayed in superior rooms, rooms aren't very spacious but have all the primary amenities. The buffet had widespread selections and the food was delicious. Except for one lady, I found the rest of the staff welcoming and friendly. I would love to visit once again!

The proximity to the lake added an extra touch of tranquility, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, I must admit that they appeared a bit outdated. The highlight was the delicious food at the hotel's restaurant, satisfying my taste buds throughout my stay. The expansive garden area offered enjoyable activities like boat rides, cycling, and badminton. The service staff was courteous and accommodating, although the front desk could have provided more information about local attractions.

Went with my husband to Habarana village in October. The stay was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful. The buffet was good and the spread was extensive (maybe a bit too extensive!). The rooms however could use a small upgrade, especially the bathroom. Overall it was a nice stay in a beautiful property with garden that is maintained well.

Very basic room(Deluxe room). There was a bathtub and lake view. Superior rooms hasn’t lake view. It’s not worth for money. But you will have beautiful garden surrounded by lake. It was the only plus point of this hotel. Food was not in acceptable quality. Service and welcome at the entrance was pleasurable. Pool was clean and unique shaped. A la carte menu for the dinner was like a normal Chinese Restaurant. No any special taste. There are lot of properties than this with delicious food and view for cheaper rate. Not recommend.

A great place for nature lovers! This was my second visit. A beautiful location with the lake view and trees. A great space to relax and have a nature walk amidst trees and lush. A great space for kids to enjoy a lot of outdoor activities... Rooms are neatly arranged and clean as in all the other Cinnamon hotels we visited before. The staff delivers an exceptional service. Delicious, mouthwatering food with a great variety. It was really a wonderful stay !!! Thank you Ms Oshadhi and the team!!! Hope to see you again! ❤️👍

Incredible staff and services, beautiful location in the jungle. Rooms are basically small bungalows. Mosquito insecticides are provided. Food is really delicious with a large variety for breakfast and dinner. Great bar service. Nice pool. Outstanding value for money, would always visit again, especially being a great location to stay for sightseeing.

This is a pretty late review though i must say Habarana Village hotel is a gem in the town. Nice , comfy clean rooms, super tasty food with a wide spread and of course the garden facing the lake is fantastic. We arranged a safari jeep trough hotel to see elephants too.

Beautiful hotel, great food and nice, big rooms. But the highlight of our stay was the restaurant/bar manager, who came to our table one evening to check in on us and was super friendly and genuine and just an amazing person! Gave us great tips for Kandy (he’s from there) and had us laughing a lot. Thank you so much for making our trip even more memorable! P.S. Bring back the ox carriage towel service, if possible! :)

We stayed full board for 2 nights and it was fabulous. Food was always fantastic with lots of variety, staffs are very friendly and attentive. From our first day the chef and the GM came out to have a chat and they always treat us very well. Rooms are clean, bed comfortable, and the garden was beautiful.. it was an amazing experience

Was in the 102 room and the cleanliness /facilities are really good. very friendly staff. So many things to do and locations to take photographs. Gathered so many memories. Food was nice and tasty. environment is very calm and quiet with stunning views. Will visit there again for sure.
