Perfection.Since the moment we arrived till when left.First time visit to the The Hideout Sigiriya and its amazing.service was excellent. Jayantha and team arranged best room and quality food for us. Breakfast spread was superb and well arranged. Team members are incredibly helpful and feel more comfortable.Thank you everyone for the superb service and will be back for sure.

Beautiful Place located in a calm, relaxing environment. Greeny paddy field extends as far you can see. Sigiriya & Pidurangala Mountains are also visible to the Tree House we stayed. No complains for the tree house but there should be major improvements in service & property maintenance. On the arrival we were told a list of whats not allowed rather than whats allowed. No foods were allowed at tree house even though it has a balcony, No swimming in the pool without pre shower (even a small kid would know that) TV is not working, No room service provided over the phone, every time you have go meet someone in person to ask for something. No enough Sugar & Milk Powder sachet packets provided in the kitchen for preparing tea for two people, There were only green tea bags not regular tea we use to make a Sri Lankan cup of tea. After all they charge you 10% service charge for the total bill even though no service is provided at all. Food is ok but no options to choose when you stay HB basis. Dinner menu was shown in a single piece of paper written by a pen. I strongly advice to stay on bed only basis & pick whatever you want for each meal at the restaurant.

Had a wonderful stay for last two days!reall greenery with beautiful swimming pool and very delicious food in a very low price!amazing care by mr Tyron and his team!i had an opportunity to meet the owner and what a wonderful person is he! Over all it was a great stay with delicious food for a low price.it was amazing to have a walk around the the lake close to the hotel and view of the paddy field with lots of peacocks .... no way to explain! Thanks for the whole team and special thanks for the chef who made our stay splendid thanks

This location is fantastic and very calm. The food is very good too. It's a bit too expensive, though, for the overall service. On top of that, they added a service charge, too.

I highly recommend staying here. I stayed here almost 7 years ago and is still one of the things I remember most about Sri Lanka. Staff and food were amazing. Great location. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a great time during our stay here! We stayed in the Vista Treehouse and were spoiled with tranquility, comfort and incredible views. It’s a great location in a quiet area and the staff are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is really yummy (I already miss the herbal porridge) and the pool offers a lovely refreshing dip after a long day in the sun.

Beautiful treehouses in the middle of paddy fields, there were lots of peacocks singing around the resort. Evening walk, bird watching and a bath in one of the lakes were amazing. Chit chats with the owners and staff gave us a homelike feeling 😊

Quiet and relaxing, with a beautiful outlook. The Staff and Owners were very attentive, warm and friendly and were great with the kids. Fun Tuk Tuk ride into town past fields with wild peacocks. A very welcoming retreat! We stayed in the treetop cabin with an incredible view over the rice paddies. The staff were so friendly and the food was very good. A lovely pool, a wonderful place to relax and felt very peaceful

Hotel is exceptionally cleaned and well maintained. Peaceful, great pool and the amazing tree house with a lovely view across the rice fields. Enjoyed lovely food with our own taste. Friendly helpful staff. Elephant safari is not far away😄. Can't wait till I go back.

Had the best stay on my trip in Sri Lanka at the hide out. The staff are really help full and do all they can to make sure u have a fantastic stay, it was like you where part of their family.

The place was good. Friendly staff. Tree house is a great place and clean. Nice looking view towards the paddy fields, specially in the sun rising. Pool was good. But pool changing rooms were not that good. Little space for parking. Driver rooms available. Good place for bed and breakfast.

Location wise it's the best. Just under 10 min walking distance to Rangirigama Wewa, which is superb for birding or photography.
