After
I
moved
from
Berlin
to
Würzburg
in
the
summer,
it
was
time
for
my
first
visit
to
the
hairdresser
in
the
new
city.
Because
of
the
many
positive
reviews,
it
quickly
became
clear
to
me
that
this
salon
was
the
one.
I
booked
an
appointment
to
cut
my
hair
with
the
owner
Michael
and
would
like
to
say
right
away
that
my
wishes
were
very
modest:
cut
the
ends
and
make
them
a
little
shorter
at
the
front
to
emphasize
the
contours
of
my
face.
I
never
thought
that
this
visit
to
the
hairdresser
would
turn
out
to
be
the
worst
visit
to
the
hairdresser
of
my
life!
First
of
all:
Yes,
I
have
fine
hair.
Some
hairdressers
call
it
thin
hair,
others
call
it
fine
hair,
some
also
affectionately
call
it
fairy
hair.
I'm
aware
that
not
every
hairstyle
is
possible
with
this
type
of
hair
and
that's
why
I
wouldn't
walk
into
the
salon
with
a
picture
of
Shakira
and
say,
"I'd
like
my
hair
like
that,
please."
😄
As
I
said:
my
wishes
were
modest.
Trim
tips
and
a
bit
of
contour.
However,
as
soon
as
I
sat
in
the
hairdresser's
chair,
I
was
allowed
to
listen
to
Michael
constantly
about
everything
he
found
terrible
about
my
hair:
•
“Very
thin
hair”
•
“Basically
we
would
have
to
cut
it
off
at
the
ears.”
•
“Well,
I
wouldn’t
have
advised
you
to
go
for
THAT
shade
of
blonde”
•
"Your
balayage
only
emphasizes
how
thin
the
ends
you
have"
•
“Have
you
ever
thought
about
hair
thickening?”
•
"THIS
is
how
you
want
your
part
to
be
parted?
It
looks
much
better
the
other
way."
•
"It's
obviously
very
unfortunate
that
you
have
a
strand
of
gray
hair
here
of
all
places"
•
...
You
will
notice
for
yourself:
the
list
is
almost
endless!
At
the
end
of
the
treatment
he
pulled
my
parting
on
the
side
that
he
(!)
liked
better
and
not
the
one
that
I
had
pointed
out
several
times.
He
didn't
even
show
me
the
result
in
the
mirror,
as
I
usually
see
from
hairdressers.
Before
going
to
the
hairdresser
I
was
in
a
really
good
mood
and
afterwards
I
felt
like
a
heap
of
misery
and
cried
at
home.
I
couldn't
even
tell
if
the
hairstyle
itself
turned
out
well
because
my
self-esteem
was
so
low.
Basically,
I
paid
over
€60
to
be
told
for
an
hour
what
was
"wrong"
with
me.
I
have
rarely
experienced
something
so
cross-border.
It
would
be
comparable
if
you
went
into
a
fashion
store
and
the
saleswoman
said
to
you:
"Are
you
sure
you
don't
want
to
wear
shaping
underwear?
With
your
figure?
Or
maybe
you
want
to
lose
5
kg
before
you
buy
this
piece
of
clothing
?"
From
a
purely
technical
point
of
view,
the
hairstyle
turned
out
quite
well.
I
was
able
to
judge
this
after
a
few
days
when
my
self-esteem
had
risen
back
to
a
normal
level.
That's
why
I
give
it
2
points
and
not
one.
But
honestly:
Only
go
to
this
salon
if
you
have
huge
self-confidence
or
a
head
of
hair
like
Shakira.
I
can
only
recommend
everyone
else
to
find
another
hairdresser.
