Nice place to take the kids fishing. Very quiet. Needs a tidy up.

Lovely place. Took the kids and rode around poundage, would say about 4.5kms to ride the whole way around. Easy ride for kids as it is fairly flat the whole way around bar one slight rise. Fish seemed to be biting when I was there from the looks of things.

There's a walk you can do all around the Lower Pondage where you cross two bridges (including at the power station) along the way and see lots of different kinds of birds. Sometimes the path is right next to the road, but most of it was on shaded, well-marked paths.

Eildon pondage is a great place to take your kids for a fishing experience. Picnic area, kids playground and toilets on the north side, only drop toilet on the south side. Can't use kayak as no boats allowed.

Good place for fishing, walking or a picnic.

Beautiful place. Quiet. Great scenery.
