I truly believe that this one is the best restaurant in Hungary. I haven't had anything was made wrong, the menu is extremely detailed and you can chose from a huge variety of dishes (mostly from the Hungarian kitchen). This restaurant is not just about the food. The waiters kindness and theirs welcoming approach (especially David), quickness, punctual orders, perfect communication with the kitchen, the chefs enthusiasm to find the best recipe to make your food memorable, not to mention that you will eat in the same place where the Austro-Hungarian Empress Marie Theresa had a lunch before (1740-80). All in all, world class hospitality, Michlen star quality tastes with a dose that can kill a cattle for a price of a Manchester - Liverpool northern railway ticket (~£10) including a glass of wine to be fair. HIGHLY recommended!

The place is absolutely wonderful! The people is nice and very helpful. And let's talk about the prices. You can eat until you fell under the table for ridiculous low money. Just ask for dayly menu. The rooms are just fine if you see the prices. Nothing is missing, you have full confort. Bottom line: it is worth it to come back here. A big thanks to the personal and keep the good work!

great food, cheap, friendly staff, fast service

The place is nice looking, staff attentive but the food was not our favorite. My kids had spaghetti, wasn't really impressed with it, dry and had some unexpected flavors to it, Cappuccino that I had was not really the Cappuccino you'd expect.

Traditional Hungarian food. For summer you can take cold fruit soup. It is the best refreshment!

I have been in restaurants in 37 countries on 4 continents, but I have never experienced what I experienced in this so called restaurant. My experience lasted about 5-7 minutes and it was like this: I arrived there with my wife today (Friday) at around 19:50 local time. We wanted to serve the dinner. We don't speak hungarian at all, but we are speaking english, german, french and a bit italian and spanish. Me: excuse me, can we speak in English? Lady at the bar (around 16 years old): no! (She points to a lady and she says that she speaks English) We are waiting around 5 minutes for the lady to be free. She comes to us afterwards. Me: excuse me, do you speak English? Employee (lady at about 40 - 50 years): no! Me: does anybody speaks English here? Employee: NO! No further questions...

Good meal but only a small selection of wines.

We had a dinner with 20 members company. Very cozy place, wide selection of foods, which are tasty. The service was kind and relatively fast. Recommended!
