Not the worst hotel I've been in but I will say that the owner is cheap. Don't expect to use your microwave, the inside of ours is falling apart. If you can avoid a shower I would suggest, mold around the edges of the tub. The rooms have an unrecognizable odor. Don't take it wrong I think the house keeping tries but you can only do so much with cheap owners.

Nasty! My family rented four rooms and every room had issues. The tubs, walls, coffee pots and sheets were dirty. The breakfast was OK if you liked stale biscuits. One of the doors didn't have a safety latch...it had been ripped off. Our son-in-law complained and they knocked off $10.00 because there was old coffee still in the coffee pot, a dirty sock on the floor and hair in the tub!

It was the worst hotel stay of my life. I had to change rooms twice. The bedding was torn, had blood stains. The furniture was stained. I had to put a towel over the couch to sit on it. The telephone didn't work. I highly do not reccomend. I couldn't understand why my car was the only car in the parking lot. The lady at the front desk was wonderful and took care of me each time I encountered a problem.

Room smells like mildew as you walk in. There is mildew and rust all in the bathtub, bathroom fan has no cover over it, coffee drips on top of microwave obviously not from us since we just walked in, and a hair laying over the bag of coffee that was definitely not ours. I would NOT recommend this hotel unless it's your very last option.

Stayed here for a night on the way to Corpus Christi. I've stayed in worse but I've definitely stayed in better. Everything was clean but the room jist needed an update, but from what I hear they're currently remodelling. Just wish I had gotten a new room. Staff was nice, though.

I have always felt welcome each time I've stayed. It's like home away from home. I guess my expectations my be a little low all I was looking for was a good quiet place to lay my head and rest. They went way beyond my expectations. They even provided a free breakfast. What more can one expect. And a great price too!

A few years ago, this was a very nice & very comfortable hotel ... out in middle of practically nowhere! I think it changed owners, because the place has gone downhill. It's not bad or nefarious or anything! It just needs some elbow grease to make it shine again.

I thought this would be a nice peaceful weekend, wrong. As soon as the general manager left two of his employees had a drunk rowdy party with about 10 of there friend's . Broken glass on the pool deck,trash every where and watched another drunk employee urinating on the pool wall,12 hours later . Who has a party from 9 am until 9 pm at there place of employment ? I reported the incident to apparently her best friend the manager. It escalated to her cussing at me, when she came in drunk to work. I did not dignify her with any response. Unprofessional like I have never seen before. I will not stay here again.
