THE BEST PLACE TO LEARN/PROGRESS YOUR KITESURFING! I just spent 6 weeks in this paradise during what they have to call the off-season even though there was still 5+ days a week with good wind. I came barely independent and left starting to jump, performing tricks, and with tons of confidence. All the instructors are really cool people who are knowledgeable about kiting and genuinely enjoy helping you. The community this place creates with regular BBQ’s and kite sessions really made this place special for me. Of course the kite spot itself is unbeatable: sand bottom with no obstacles or extra items to worry about besides the kite itself. If you want to learn, want to progress, or just fly to the moon as a professional, this is the spot for you. It was sad to leave this place and I can’t wait til I can get back and send it with the gang!

My wife, our 1-year-old and myself spent a week with Juancho and the crew recently. My wife took wing foiling lessons, and I took a couple intermediate kiteboarding lessons. What can I say - this place is just wonderful in so many ways. From the beauty and convenience of the spot itself, to the organization, to the professionalism of the instructors (Clari you're the best!!), quality and variety of the gear, food and drinks, the hangout space, everything was just an absolute blast. Early October is still considered off-season, but we had like 4+ hours of reliable wind for 5 days in a row. We will definitely come back and try the kite trips they do into the Paracas National Reserve. 10/10 would recommend!

I found Kangaroo Kite when looking up best kite schools in Peru as I was planning on traveling there for a week and really wanted to learn to kite. Juan was extremely helpful and communicative in organizing the best time for me to come down with the best wind for my beginner lessons as they were during low season. The lessons were very hands on and both Juan and L’luri were incredibly helpful in all aspects. By the end of the 2nd day I was able to get up on the board and ride down wind, just need to learn now how to go upwind! The vibe of the school / camp feels like you’re on a different planet. It is truly a special community they have built and I plan to come back with friends to continue my kite journey with Kangaroo in the summer. Hands down best place to learn to kite in Peru. Cannot go wrong here.

Absolutely a 5 star experience. Kangaroo kite is one of the best kite schools I have ever been to. We went as a 12 people group and all of us have different levels. School was extremely structured and accommodating. Equipment was exceptional new and well taken care of. Owners Juan and Agostina are very friendly and super helpful when it comes to answering any questions about kiting as well as accommodating for special needs. Facility is very clean and they have a great area to chill, eat and drink.

Awesome location run by very friendly and helpful people. Prices for lessons, gear, storage etc. are fair. Sunset sessions are amazing as well as the chill area 🤙.

Juan and his crew treated us to a week of solid wind and awesome vibes. All new Cabrinha gear available to rent reasonably. For a small fee you can use their compressor and washdown area and they’ll store your gear for your stay. Definitely book a trip into the reserve! If you’ve never kited -they have IKO instructors to safely teach you. Highly recommend 🤙

Great experience! Wonderful people, great vibe. The school is professional and we were able to ride which was amazing 🤩. Kangaroo best school to learn kiting at a beautiful Laguna where you can hang out with the dog or with the flamingo’s🦩. Just Epic, as the owner Juan would say 💪🏼💪🏼

Very competent and friendly staff, modern Equipment in good condition, the spot in and of it self is very nice. Plenty of space to start and land the kite on the beach, water is fairly flat, all in all good conditions for beginners. Amazing chill out area with clean facilities.
