Never gone there but always noticed a small line of people trying to get in . Today my daughter and I beat the crowds, and let me say that from the moment we stepped in the whole atmosphere change greeter quickly seated us in a small both but assured us we would be the next to get a table or a booth , to our surprise minutes later waiter promptly pick up our plates and chip gave us a table my Daughter and I were over whelmed with that attention each table received systematically . Our food after ordering took no more than 10-12 mi minutes to be served , no rush and very polite staff the food is as close as it get to good old home cooked meal . We recommend it to every ethnic group in our wonderful valley and passing by travelers.

This is a cozy little Mexican restaurant. The food was AUTHENTIC, EXCELLENT AND DELICIOUS... THE WAS A BIG PARTY of 12 right before me, the waitresses didn't ignore me, one waitress took my order and the other two attended the bigger party. That really impressed me. Also the is BEAUTIFUL MEXICAN ART WORK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE 👌

Just ok. Mexican food is not this expensive to make, nor is it difficult. We paid full price, and they did not have all ingredients (like avocado and potatoes) the day we went. Food was mostly great, but the beans were too salty, an issue that should have easily been caught by a chef that tastes their food before serving. Food did come out fast, and service was friendly. Unfortunately, the Valley suffers from the lack of competition (and local support to allow more competition) so places like this are kind of your only option, bar going to Mexicali. I've had similar issues each time I have come here. Don't expect to be amazed or be left wanting to come back.

Had never been here but it was highly recommend so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. I had their chilaquiles plate with an over-medium egg and I really enjoyed it. Might be my favorite chilaquiles in the Valley so far. My friends had the carne en su jugo And They said it's worth it every single time.

Carne asada plate is a mound of rice and lettuce, thin slices of carne asada, and a small tea cup of Salty bean-less beans (bean juice). Staff and service is excellent.... hence the 2nd star. Carne asada classic is a money maker for most places, and this one needs a facelift.

Had the huevos rancheros and café de olla and was not disappointed. Good food that won't break the bank. Excellent service.

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had, hands down!!! Staff is so attentive and friendly. Aguas frescas taste like heaven. Complimentary chips and salsa are to die for. I don’t live in El Centro but I would definitely make a trip here just for this restaurant. Just amazing!

The sopes we're delicious and so was the agua de coco but everything else left a lot to be desired. The service was basically non existent: no "how's your food?" or "do you need another drink?" or "sorry your food is taking a bit long" and no "oh would you like more chips and salsa?" and no apology for the chilaquiles not coming with the eggs that were requested at the time of order. After taking so long for the chilaquiles to arrive there were no eggs on them, so we had to send them back. Thankfully they put the eggs as requested, the second time. Also the caldo de res did not taste fresh at all. I don't know, I counted at least four waitresses working and just three or four tables with guests, and about 15 tables empty. There should have been a lot better service, they weren't even that busy.

We used to stop in on our drive to arizona. We have missed it a few times with the hours and the days and we're so excited to come. Absolutely the worst overcooked chicken, greasiest tacos, saltiest food, and rudest servers ever! We are never going back. Maybe covid got it and they cannot find help? Not my problem I would eat at Jack In The Box before I ever came here and I never eat there!

Some of the food was outstanding like the tacos, but some sub-par like the beans which were way over salted. There was an entire room of empty tables yet the waitress crammed us into the loud and cramped smaller room and finally they claimed not to have water and then charged us for a water bottle. What a bizarre experience.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food. Makes me feel like I'm having my grandma's cooking. Have had the chilaquiles and the enfrijoladas. Delicious and good portion sizes.

I have never ever had a bad meal here. Antojito’s has a different type of Mexican food along with some of the classics (tacos, tostadas, etc). I especially love their chicken enchiladas and zucchini enchiladas. I tried something different yesterday, some kind of enchilada with a green sauce and it was delicious. Antojito’s is always packed at lunch, dinner and on Sundays. The Resturant is small and tables close together . There is no outdoor dining. However, they are opening up a second resturant in El Centro on the corner of Main and 9th street, across from the county court house. I was told by management it should be open in August 2022.

Antojitos is great!! Super delicious food! Service was outstanding and attentive, our server Gloria always very friendly made sure we didn't need anything and was very knowledgeable of the menu. The restaurant was clean, the plates and silverware were also in very good and sanitary condition. They offer a full array of drinks from Cafe de Olla to freshly squeezed fruit drinks. We went on a weekday and it's a very popular place for breakfast and lunch. If you go on the weekend it's usually very full so plan accordingly. Antojitos is definitely a gem of authentic Mexican dining in El Centro, stop by!

With every visit you receive the most humble and authentic greeting. You feel like you are received as part of the family and the food is amazing, and made with extra love. Just unforgettable experience.

Great food. Not too little and not too much. Priced right. A hidden gem in El Centro

The food is delicious, have not been disappointed yet. The aguas frescas are also very refreshing. Service is a little slow but this is because the place is constantly busy, and they have limited staff. So be warned when you dine there be prepared to wait, but the wait is well worth it. Besides the wait time the waiters are very attentive, and like i said before the food is delicious.

The chips and salsa were delicious. Ordered the Arturo plate and they forgot to give me the tortilla and jalapeno and the potatoes had essence of chorizo. So it was pretty lacking overall. The flavors were good though.

The rolled tacos are some of the best things I have ever eaten. They were also very friendly and accommodating of our large party of 13 people.

Chips and salsa were excellent, crisp and great flavor. Sopes were tasty but beans and rice were a bit bland. Cafe de Olla was good too. Very friendly and attentive service. Good menu selections.

Delicious. Special Sauce is very mild yet extremely flavorful. There is a lot of salt on the corn tortilla chips that are served if you eat in. But if you've ever used fresh yellow corn tortillas to make fried chips, you know the chips will tend to taste like fritos. So you/ they have to add salt. I would suggest lime or lemon on the chips as opposed to all of the salt. The red salsa - that comes with the chips is hot and very good. The green salsa is chunky and milder than the red salsa. LOVED THE WHOLE BEANS!!!!!!!! They are cooked to perfection!!!! And, it is super hard to cook whole beans in mass and have the amount of flavor and lack of 'beaniness'. I can 'taste' that they properly soak their beans and prepare the beans with wonderful seasonings and meat/fat. EXCELLENT!!

I was going to give it 4 stars since no Burrito or Torta or Lengua but they made a Buritto and boi it was the best I ever had and I've had more than couple best. Atmosphere is best I've ever felt. Amazing

The food was great and about 80% of the meals on the menu are 9.99 the portions are more than fair for the price and the coffee tasted like it was brewed with cinnamon sticks it’s so good.

I had Carne asada... not good. Too chewy of meat. Seasoned well but not enough to overcome the consistency of the meat. Not good. Try something else

I have eaten breakfast there twice. My friends had the posole. I ordered the chiliquiles plate, very good! Also Arturo's breakfast plate. Recommend either.
