One of the better casinos in the area. The parking is tricky and the buffet is permanently gone due to the pandemic but you can always eat at their new food court where the buffet used to be. Super friendly staff and tons of slots and table games.

Red hawk is awesome they treat their guests very well. Stellar customer service, I felt like a millionaire the way I was treated by the staff and will continue to visit this casino. There are many opportunities to win big money but there are pitfalls as well. They have a free soda and coffee machine for all guests and players. The beds are super cozy and there is a free breakfast as well. It’s worth a stop if your passing through

I visited Red Hawk on an assignment to photograph the giant rock water features at Red Hawk's main entrance. I was treated to dinner at Pearl, the Casino's amazing Asian restaurant. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken. Servings were large. The food was delicious.

Fun casino, and the bus routes to get here are a huge plus too. Not a fan of the higher limit table games and the rules however. Craps should not be $10, that's why the table is so empty. Craps are also dice to cards here which is expected for California. They also feature too many 6 to 5 blackjack tables. Food options are also very limited later at night and only the coffee shop is open late. Buffet runs around $30-40 depending on day. Buffet used to be good but definitely went downhill a bit. Food is definitely off, like too salty. The pork belly was very tough and same with the oysters. The Asian food is decent. There is no more gelato or ice cream bar in place of a soft serve machine.

Went to Apex and rode on go carts, which were awesome. We also tried the bowling alley but didn't like the inability to slide when throwing the ball. Then, we enjoyed the slot machines in the non-smoking area. The smoking floor had way to much smoke floating around and made us sick. We are still going back to enjoy the fun.

Went into the Casino to kill a little time. Sat down at one machine and fed it a twenty dollar bill. No hits. Went to second machine where I put in a $100 bill. I started winning immediately. Then I hit a jackpot for $1466.xx.

We have been going to Red Hawk for at least 6yrs. We go for Thanksgiving and Christmas buffet. We usually have 5 to 8 family and friends join us. The food and service is great. We especially love all the holiday decorations. It's a great place to have fun, relax, enjoy family and friends and the mess is cleaned up by someone else. It's a great place to get a holiday buzz. Happy Holidays..

My family and I had reservations on 12/18/23 at 1:00pm. We were seated promptly and noticed how clean the restaurant was. The food was of good quality and served at a proper temperature, pretty much what you would expect at a Casino buffet. The gentleman who was tasked with keeping the tables free of used dishes was amazing, hardworking and polite. I took the opportunity to thank the on duty Manager who also amazing and welcoming. My overall dining experience was above average but mostly due to the hospitality and I will return.

UPDATE- Never go casino when u don’t feel lucky! But this here is still MY FAVORITE CASINO! I came here 29 October for $25000 and free play drawings. I didn’t win However I could have. I had a Fabulous time winning and losing to slot machines I also hit progressive minor twice I think - I was happy and enjoyed my entire time. I did the buffet it was so k even with lobster. The restaurant staff are Way Awesome! They are always very positive kind and polite great smiles Thank u for a wonderful staff. I did need assistance on the floor and the machine was fixed in no time. 3 Stars for allowing parents to walk their children on the main casino floor filled with dangerous cigarette smoke as they lead them to the Apex Center. I hope my review is good enough. I think I’ll be going back this weekend. God bless!

We absolutely loved our stop here on our way to South Lake Tahoe! So many things for the kids to do: bowling, arcade, the amazing indoor go kart track that is so legit! We also grabbed lunch at the Cafe which was fine for a quick bite and not fast food on the road. If you have kids and are on your way to or from South Lake, consider popping in, they will have a blast (there is also babysitting service for kids up to 12 if you want to have a dinner alone!)

Just WOW!! I stayed at the resort for 3 nights and from the moment I drove up, I knew it was going to be a nice stay. Nicolas was working the valet parking and that young man was so spectacular! He walked me through the whole process and answered all my dumb questions with a smile and a laugh. Keep in mind, I havent even made it into the hotel yet... OH MY!!! The hotel is fabulous!! The service at the check in was awesome! All the staff is so friendly and helpful. Now for the room... AMAZING!!! Clean, quiet, spacious and the views are breathtaking!!! Very Highly recommended!!! I will be back!!!

It's okay, when you have RHR on your "tiers status" card. Otherwise, weirdly locationed of the gaming floor, the Casino itself. The very top level which is "8" Parking starts at the 6th floor but primarily for the presidential and prestige clientele. I know if you win or not there's always an annoying prerecorded male announcing on the PA saying they just awarded "2500 or 5000 dollars, you could be the next" sigh, it's like every 2 hours or so.

I like this casino. My boyfriend and I entered into the free play drawings during the football game, and that was a lot of fun. The Apex is pretty amazing, for anyone who hasn't been to the sports bar yet, I was impressed. And the new go cart track was so much fun! These gocarts are for adults, let me tell you! Lol Also, the buffet was excellent. I especially loved the endless mimosas or champagne. And in case anyone is wondering they use Brut champagne. Heck. Yes. <3

Always have a good time meeting up with my friend, we both travel 30 miles to serve each other once a month. We both have casino's closer to our own homes that we don't go to. Thank you for giving us a fun place to meet!

The casino is cool, except that you have to go to the bar to get drinks or demand service. The hotel is extravagant. The bar at the Apex is ok, but you have to demand service, especially if they are busy. Basically, their customer service sucks, and if they are really busy, it sucks even more. Now, look, I am not saying that the servers are bad, they do their best. I just wish their best was better. The servers are nice and do what they are trained to do. This is the management's fault. While I was waiting for service, at the Apex bar, I had two managers stare at me, and one finally asked me if I had been helped. Instead of helping me, she instructed a busy waitress to help me, and it took another staff member to ask her to get to us, and it took her another five minutes. They need to change out their managers and better train their staff. They need to be more customer friendly.

Loved the Koko Buffet (seafood on Fridays and Saturdays). Tons of selections. Friendly service. Only takeaway is that they usually don't take "walk-ins" but what was kind of dumb was we asked if we can make a reservation, and the hostess said yes. The next available is in 10 minutes. So realistically, it was a walk-in. Poke Bar is amazing. Freshly made shrimp scampi is available upon request. They have a salami, cheese bar. Desserts bar. Mexican food. Steak and pizza. Definitely must try!!

We went to enjoy the huge and delicious Seafood Buffet. It was just as good as we had expected. You must make a reservation or you may not get in at all. We played slots in the smoke free area near the Buffet after dinner and had a fun time. Love the self serve drink stations too.

Red Hawk Casino is a fun and fairly low key place to visit. Usually break even but some times come out way ahead. I like to talk to the workers at the Casino and tell them how much I appreciate what they do for us, the customer. As clean restrooms, floors and refreshments. We forget who really makes the place run. Many really do appreciate the kind words and the time to say hello, how is your day going. It was always nice to hear some thing positive from a customer or colleague, please remember that too. Any way, always have fun here and many of the slots are loose.

Good place to gamble. Crowded on the weekends. Best time to go is Monday to Thursday. Staff is friendly and helpful. Machines need to pay out more. Cocktail waitresses are nice to look at. Lol. Miss the live music. Got big screens TVs to watch the games and boxing..

Very large casino with multiple floors and accommodations. Explored the buffet and arcade areas. There is a Kids Quest kids care drop off/ Arcade combo and a bowling/car racing area on another floor as well. Advice: If you eat at buffet I recommend going 30ish minutes before dinner so you can try the lunch and dinner options! Buffet is $35 for adults and $15 for kids. Children 5 and under are free!

It was expensive, but overall, it was a great time. They need to work out some communication and scheduling issues between the racing and bowling. They over lapped and double booked us but made up for it with an extra hour of bowling.

Fun casino, the new Apex is a great addition. The restaurants are delicious and you can actually win on the slots. Great experience with my wife.

We love this casino. The Apex and the child care, as well as the arcade, makes it very family friendly. My son, age 7, loves the day care play area. The buffet is much improved and I think moving Pearl down stairs was a smart move. Hoping the burger joint opens up again soon. Lots of changes and movement which is why I give it a 4 star. Parking can be an issue at times as well. Now, if I could just win a big jackpot!

Stopped just to see the place. It is just huge. Free drink stations around the casino. Visited the Apex area which has bowling, race car experience, virtual reality ride and other excitement. Lots of eating places too.

Beautiful clean and new hotel, my two favorite things about an overnight stay. The customer service was also very present during our stay. The food was also great, I don't suggest any of the $14 sandwiches from Verona, but all the other food I do! Especially the seafood buffet on the weekend! The crab is delicious. And the apex was fun, there's even a huge TV to watch football. Great experience here. Will try to come again soon.

Casino is in Folsom county i visited here first time.. Casino has mostly slot machines, Roulette has 1 machine can play 6 players.. But it was good that someone can start bet from 25Β’ .. Machines are quite old compared to SKY RIVER CASINO (ELK GROVE) built new.. On tables it was minimum 10 or 15$ for all games.. Soft drinks were not served on table, it was self service Kids section was on 6th floor , brainy kids can win tickets to get gifts.. My kids won 2000 tickets and got some gifts.. Overall it was okay experience

The food was delicious but for some reason the food got cold quick, not sure why, mimosas were delicious ,I was told that you can have three every hour, the only reason I’m giving it a four-star is because in the cart racing, they kept stopping the race.

The new Apex center is awesome for kids bowling, indoor go-karts, br arcade and virtual golf with a restaurant/snack bar with pizza, burgers, beer and a great place to host a kids birthday party.

Nothing but love for these people! They returned my wallet when I lost it.. God bless these Americans!! Also, come with whatever you have, they aren't judgey here. A great place to have fun and the payout rate is significantly more than Thunder, although I actually love both. There is a bus that runs for travelers free of charge from J street in Sac, so get on and have fun!! Just make sure you catch the last bus around 4pm in the front so you don't get stranded! I love the winnings ratio, very good for a Cali Casino.. I believe they are Indian-owned. Mostly the vibes are fun /recreational / laid back. Good for the finer gamblersπŸ₯°. Whether your a low roller, nature person, or a pool person, you gotta go at least once in your life. They also have a ton of extras in the back like go carts/arcade, so extremely family friendly and upscale! Meanwhile smoker friendly and vibe friendly!!

It's nice the casino was packed the "kid" zone was much more than I anticipated. They have bowling, go carts, golf screens and a couple of VR games. Didn't try the food there but looked like typical stuff you would find at a place like that. Oh yes we tried the Chinese restaurant. Don't go there. It was pretty bad and we had to wait over an hour

I went to the Grill at Red Hawk Casino. Vicky was amazing. She helped me out and everything. The only thing was wrong how much they gave you for the price. $17 for chicken strips with fries and the box ain't even half way full. Wow! It wasn't even worth $17 at all. What a rip off! They should at least put a drink with it, too! The supervisor wasn't no help either. She basically said it comes with fries. No duh, I read the menu that's why I got it. But at least, make my money worth the penny that I spent there. It wasn't even enough for my godmother and I to even share it and they said it was. How wrong they were. They're raising prices to pay for the Apex and the Hotel that they built. Unbelievable! Good customer service, Vicky B.! Keep up the good work! :D If they keep raising the prices, people is gonna stop eating here! They could at least give you 6 pieces of chicken. Honestly, J
