• Walking in to the hotel, we discovered that it was under renovation. Not a big deal. They had a nice coffee/tea station and a small sitting area with books in the lobby. We check in and get up to our room without incident. • Our room was clean, but it had an unpleasant odor and the bathroom door was too big for the frame and wouldn't close. It's our one year wedding anniversary, so we're trying to stay positive and have a good time. • We headed down to the pool, which was small but clean and heated. The hot tub didn't work, and there were no towels in the pool room. It's fine; we did a few laps. • Back to the room to sleep... except the bed was painfully hard with a threadbare blanket, and the AC sounded like a full blown thunderstorm was raging all night. We didn't get much sleep. • The next morning, I tried to get in a workout. The key card I had to ask for didn't work. I returned to the front desk to get it fixed and finally spent 10 minutes on the elliptical listening to a blaring TV playing an infomercial for a diet program. • Nevermind, I'm going to go get some breakfast. Honestly, the breakfast was amazing. I had a light, fluffy omelette with some perfectly seasoned potatoes and an orange juice.

I'm pretty sure we were one of only 2 rooms in use when we were there. Rooms were fine. First one was missing its shower curtain. Rather than hang one, they moved us next door. That room was missing its smoke detector. Breakfast was good though (better than most hotel breakfasts). The gentleman who checked us in was an absolute gem!!! Had us park the motorcycle where he'd have a good camera view to keep an eye on it.

I'm starting to suspect that someone at this business is trying to sneak charges on people without their notice. They have tried to charge me three separate times about a booking I canceled with them back in August, most recently they charged me on Nov. 1, two months after my booking was canceled. I called them two separate times about charges, and they claim it's a glitch with their computer system, but that argument has gotten old. Do not trust this place. Stay somewhere else.

It was a nice room but not for the price Super by Wyndham was 75.00 and very nice! This was 130+ taxes and as I was leaving a roach ran out from phone

I believe the friendliest people in El Dorado work at the Country Inn & Suites. Super friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is the best I've ever had at a hotel.

To begin, I want to acknowledge the positive experience we had with Cindy at the front desk, who efficiently assisted us during check-in. However, our stay at room 133 raised several concerns. The door latch to the back outside door was faulty, posing a security risk, as the door had already been left ajar. Once in the room, we noticed a layer of dust on various surfaces, prompting us to write "hi" on the furniture to highlight the cleanliness issue. Moreover, the room exhibited signs of neglect, with stained floors and bedding. The bathroom presented an unusual challenge, as my youngest son accidentally locked himself in. To release him from the outside, we had to lift the door handle, a rather unconventional and disconcerting solution. The bathtub was visibly dirty, suggesting a lack of thorough cleaning. Additionally, the shower drain was slow, resulting in standing water throughout our shower. The state of the room extended to a floor lamp on the brink of collapse, an unplugged phone on the desk, and an overall impression that cleanliness standards were not met. Although I have been a repeat guest at this hotel, this disappointing experience leads me to reconsider future stays. Turning to breakfast, while the waffles were enjoyable, the selection was limited and perplexing. An unconventional egg omelet, chicken strips, and unseasoned diced potatoes seemed out of place for a breakfast spread. The fruit options appeared dated, though we managed to find a decent banana. Adding to the disappointment, the pool was closed during our visit. Considering the overall condition and the inconveniences encountered, it feels unjustifiable to pay over $100 for such subpar accommodations. Regrettably, this experience has led me to explore alternative lodging options in the future.

The pool and hot tub was clean. Breakfast was wonderful! The room on the other hand had leftover food in the microwave, gum under the bed, the shampoo and conditioner was both used and not replaced, the outlets in the bathroom doesn't work, and the sink in the bathroom was coming unglued.

The rooms are in need for an update badly. The A/C rattled and hummed loudly all night, there was trash behind the nightstands from a previous occupant. Breakfast was pretty dismal. I will say the front desk was very friendly and helpful.

No microwave n room had to request No iron in room had to request No security lock on door. Personal wasnice. Placed us in handicap room , the commode was down very low. The seat was wobble and would not stay in place. We have stayed there several times in the past with good service. This time we were very very disappointed. We are military people expected to be treated better.

Chose this hotel because the location was convenient and a safer location, unfortunately I was highly disappointed with my room. The floor in room 301 had a blood stained trail leading into the bathroom. I later sent this complaint to management and they insisted it was barbecue sauce, I guess they gave it a taste test. I’m in the medical field and I can positively identify this as dried blood. Barbecue sauce dries sticky.

BEDBUGS! BEDBUGS! Beware, and don't stay here! And the lackadaisical attitude of the management toward this problem. I booked through Expedia and asked that they contact Expedia to get me a refund or compensation for our loss of sleep after sustaining many bedbug bites and changing rooms. They told me to contact Expedia myself. Whoever manages this motel needs to be replaced!

My granddaughter and her children were very comfortable. Not much of a breakfast but ok

The room doors shut rather loudly, but it's a nice motel, and the breakfast is good. The front desk staff is great.

I am a pilot and require much needed rest to perform at my job, however, early this morning I was woken up by them doing renovations right next to my door. It has been constant and was driving me insane listening to loud banging for hours while I tried to sleep and get extra work done. On top of that for whatever reason while I was taking a shower the water was shut off and I was left still with soap all over myself. When I called to ask when the water would be back on the lady said not any time soon. I have to shave for work and shower and iron my clothes and I can’t do any of that with no water. 0/10
