When on travels in Asia I need to satisfy my occasional Italian cravings, this place did not disappoint. I dare say some places in Europe I’ve visited could take lessons here. The chef knows their Italian cuisine, the pizza was light and airy, thin dough. The pizza comes from the brick oven across the street. The carbonara does not need a cucumber on top, it was great as it was. Possible some cream was added to the yolk, if so, not much and it tasted authentic to me. Portion size is as you’d expect from Europe. Cravings 200% satisfied. Also their frozen margaritas were refreshing. It’s possible to pay by card.

Best pizza I've had in a long time!!! Definitely best on the island!!! Same one they have on Siargao. If you get there before 5:30pm, you might not have to wait. It's packed every night with a line 10-20 people deep!!! Pizza hack- order delivery!! The number is in the pictures😉

A bit disappointed by our experience here. We’ve been to their other branches in other islands so we were looking forward to this one because it was something familiar however, we were a bit let down. Our order took about an hour to arrive and while waiting we were being feasted on by mosquitoes. Another thing was that, their water was not working. The toilets were on the second floor and none of the sinks were working so it was hard to wash out hands. The food was still okay, the pasta was generously topped with meat and the pizza had good ham. Though the softness of the dough could be improved. In their defense, we could have just visited at a bad timing. Seems like other people had a good experience here.

The place offers a candle-light dinner, the place is cozy and relaxing. You took off your shoe/slipper and place it on the shoe rack prior going up the restaurant, maybe to maintain cleanliness of the place, it looked like an old house turn into restaurant. Food was good, pizza was great!

I ate at this place 4 times this week. Very good pizza bianca and pizza con funghi. I also had pasta crema e funghi (picture attached) and pasta ragu bolognese. They were both ok, but nothing special. There are 2 problems with this restaurant. One, you cannot pay by card. Two, the lack of certain ingredients (like Parma ham) or unavailable menu items (like white wine). This should be handled, especially since based on other reviews it seems to be a common trend.

Really good pizza and pasta given the location. Quite a busy spot so service is a bit slow. Well priced given the popularity of the spot, but more expensive than other places nearby

You cannot go wrong with wood fired pizza's. Cosy and comfortable dining room. Friendly staff. Highly recommend it!

Excellent food. We really enjoyed our pizza here. Only minus 1 star because its a lot more expensive than the other italians in the area. But the staff were fabulous and the pizza was so tasty

Pizza was absolutely great. Pasta looked like canteen food but surprisingly tasted al dente and amazing too. This restaurant rewrote my impression on Philippino food. That said, this place was too famous. Both this restaurant and the takeaway place - altrove express in the next alley were packed with people. We waited for 40 minutes to get a table. With long waiting time, lukewarm service, a bit smelly water glass, I am not sure whether it's worthwhile. I heard there's a branch in corong corong. Maybe that would be a better choice.

Upon entering the restaurant, they have this no shoe policy which not all may be comfortable with. The place is on open air so it gets quite humid and hot. I think it needs more ventilation. We had frutti di mare and prosciutto pizza. These had generous servings and can be shared by 2 people. Overall the food is good but I recommend try also the other things on the menu.

The mystery of the crowd was solved once we tasted their wood-fired pizzas—absolutely amazing! The cozy and inviting dining room only added to the experience, complemented by the nice staff. Highly recommend giving it a try! We opted for the carbonara and Mediterranean pizza, which were so fulfilling that we struggled to finish our halves. But they were simply too delicious to leave behind!

Wood fired pizza! Margherita Za is the best! Pepperoni was okay.

Their beef carpaccio is my favorite bite of food in El Nido. Just really really good. Pasta’s also good. Service is okay. Was just a bit annoyed because the waiter who took our orders for the mains didn’t write down our orders (just two pasta dishes) and tried to just memorize them. He got at least one of our orders wrong four times whenever we asked him to repeat our order and we had to keep repeating our orders to him. He really shouldve just written it down at that point.

Great pasta! Ambience is also good. Have to take off your shoes before heading upstairs to the resto. Friendly service. Nice enough to accommodate our request to keep some chocolate lollipops in their fridge. 🤭

Pizza here is big, tasty and delicious. The pizza is soooo good that we had to eat there twice during our visit in El Nido. We ordered Panchetta con tartufo during those two visits, this pizza is topped with truffle cream with bacon and mozarella cheese. Highly recommend.

Lovely pizza. Always a queue to get into the establishment. I was talking to an Italian and he recommends this place to.

Delicious pesto pasta. Friends enjoyed their pizzas too. Husband got the steak and said it was ok. Good sunset views from the location on Calle Hamma. We visited in July (low season) and didn’t have to wait for a table. We went to Coron and saw another location there as well.

Beautiful beachfront restaurant with a stunning bay view. The restaurant boasts a selection of quality wines, and the pizza is very well made. Fantastic dining experience! (Cucumber and ginger drink in the photo)

Their version of Aglio Olio with Prawns is great. 😊 I always get the Frutti di Mare which is Seafood Pasta in White Wine in Coron, Siargao and El Nido branch before but this time it was quite bland to me.. so I preferred the Aglio Olio. We had Margherita Pizza too!

Food is delicious specially their pasta. The pasta it self is al dente, and will probably still taste good even with less sauce. Place is a bit steamy hot but ambience is very romantic. Queue may pile up specially during dinner. But atleast you can view how they make the pizzas during in line because their fireplace is located outside. The owner is very kind and constantly asks customers how's their food. This restaurant is worth to line up.
