Beautiful place to reconnect with nature and disconnect from the civilization. Many activities to do: hiking in the national parks, rafting, swimming, kayak... You can also rent one of their tents and spend the night on the site, near a nice little waterfall, surrounded by trees, and under a million stars. Two twin beds in the tent, very comfortable, and affordable. They also have a kitchen where you can cook your meals. Guides are very friendly, I highly recommend this peaceful place!!

I would definitely recommand them. Really nice experience with a friendly and funny guide and team, he took the time to answer every question we had about the surroundings, and of course the technical stuff. We went through basic training at first to more advanced stuff as he judged our capabilities. The adventure was nice, the place was stunning (we felt really small as we passed by these giant boulders on the river bed), we had a lot of fun and made good souvenirs. Thanks again to the whole team! We even received a nice little treat at the end (no spoiler) ;-)

Great adventure! Unfortunately there was not much water in the river when I came here but the combination of water hiking and rafting was super fun! I look forward to come here again when father and son set all their planned ideas into action!

We had a great time camping at La Moskitia Ecoaventuras. There is a designated camping site but we were lucky and they offered us to camp right in front of the Cangrejal River, it was beautiful to wake up with such a view!! RamĂłn (Moncho) was incredible with us, always a great host and an awesome tour guide for the river hiking and rafting activities which I strongly recommend you to do. It was fun, extreme and an experience I will never forget. Keep in mind this place is very basic, providing everything you might need but there is no comfort. I recommend this place for backpackers since it's cheap, friendly and beautiful. There is a kitchen, fridge, freezer, oven and cutlery.

It was a great experience for a Top Price. A must do in Honduras. They make a lot of Pictures, we had a bit hassle to get them, but finally we recieved them.

Good prices and variety of products. Cashiers are SLOW. Never enough registers open. The sales people are very good.

Good for what it is. If you want to come white water rafting I’d recommend it. However if you are spending the night here, you might be in a tent (as there is no dorm house) and it’s a bit of a walk in the dark to the toilet. Also a lot of bugs! (But what else do you expect in the jungle) the staff are really friendly and the food is good - but be prepared for rustic living

We had the best experience with these guys!! They were very professional and safe! They even had refreshments for us after our adventure. Emilio picked us from our hotel and spoke excellent English. He is very friendly and hospitable. So were our guides. My favorite was Ramon, he was serious about our safety yet still very personable. A bit shy at first but he warmed up fast and had fun teasing my daughter about the big a** spidered I’m Honduras. All around it was a great experience!

This place is a little gem! Run by a lovely family who are very welcoming and helpful with information. The tents are quite spacious with proper beds and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. Some of the facilities were under some renovation but it’s fine as long as you won’t go looking for luxury in the jungle. Rafting with our guide Ramon was a lot of fun and despite the low water it was still a great experience with breathtaking views. Definitely would recommend to stay there!

Awesome place if you love nature and disconnecting from the business of life. Even so the accommodations are tents they are super comfortable with beds and more than affordable. The people are super friendly and welcoming. We felt more than at home I highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous rafting tour with Moskitia! Our guide Emilio was brilliant and his and his English was perfect. The tour was a little cheaper than others I saw and included transport from La Ceiba which made it great value. We had a great 'river hike' experience first and then the rapids which were so much fun. Safety was a top priority. We also paid a little extra for Emilio and his brother to take photos on their GoPros which was great for us. Thanks La Moskitia!

We stayed in the accommodation and also did the rafting with la Moskotia. Overall it was good and definitely the only option of you want to visit pico bonito on a budget! The staff were great, Emilio replied to my many questions quickly and helpfully. The rafting was also amazing 5/5 for that, we did exactly the same route/time as another provider in the area but paid half the price, guides were knowledgeable and felt safe and there was the option for someone to take pictures/videos for us. The accommodation is where I take off a star. Obviously it’s a cheaper option than anywhere else and you pay for a tent - the tent itself has proper beds and is really comfortable - would be nice to have a light included but otherwise good. The bathroom is a little dirty and lacking doors. The kitchen was locked on more than one occasion when we wanted to use it and the fridge didn’t work. We also thought it was $8 per tent and it was actually $8 per person - strange to be more when using the same tent.
