This small stone house, the only one of its kind in La Palma as I understand, is superbly located on the crater rim. Elsewhere you'd pay a lot for the views you get here for free. There's enough place for 20 people to sleep and there's a separate dining area. The house is equipped with solar panels so there's electricity. And perhaps the most important thing is that there's rain water in a huge tank you can use for cooking or even drinking, if you treat it properly.

Really good mountain hut with a fantastic view especially on sunset and sunrise. There is water available.

Il luogo per l'escursionista per definizione, ci si va con sacco a pelo e bel organizzati. Proprio sul gr131 che attraversa anche La Palma.

Refugio que desconozco si es para uso civil o profesional, lo que si puedo asegurar que las vistas son increíbles. Se puede ver la majestuosidad de la caldera y los impresionantes roques y paredes que la rodean. Merece la pena subir desde el área recreativa del Pilar. Importante en días de sol llevar agua, gorra y calzado antideslizante.
