Food was okay! I didn’t really like it… my personal taste buds refuse to enjoy Vietnamese food. This place was cute to eat at. I find myself just staring at their pond while I wait to be seated. I love the environment and the staff but they take forever to deliver food!

The restaurant looks better once u entered, a good size restaurant with indoor and covered patio next to a koi pond. Food is not quite authentic, however, they still do a good job on the flavors. U can come solo or with family/friends. Dishes contain good portion of vegetable. I would recommend to try their vermicelli instead of rice

I think this place is the best Vietnamese restaurant in town! Egg rolls were so fresh and tasted like home made, pho’s broth was so good and delicious. Even my picky kids finished food! Service was good and server was nice but little bit slow.

The service is horrible. Got there and the hostess never greated us and just asked how many. Got seated and the waitress took our order. Ordered number 16 for both of us and order spring rolls. Few minutes later, she came back to us and said "you guys wanted number 15, right?" She brought us pho, but never the spring rolls. If you are forgetful, nothing wrong with writing stuff down. After giving us the food, never came back to check up on us and we needed water. I said forget about the spring rolls and we were ready to leave. She gave us the check and I had my card in there and made sure they can see it. She walked by our table multiple times, but never took the check. Went to the the front to pay and as we were leaving, the waitress was in the corner doing her make up.

Super bad service!!!!! Never go back !! I do not recommend this place. I went to eat so many times with my friend, most of time we have to wait forever for the server to come to ask us the drink. And the people who came later than us even got service earlier than us. The servers are lazy stay there talking without coming to check the table. When I asked to talk to the manager they just told me the manager wasn’t there.

Friendly but, broth had no flavor. Friend egg rolls are not fried all the way. Running out of everything for a drink. Is not well stocked. While we were waiting a spice was crawling on our table. Not a good thing. I ask for iced green tea and they bring hot tea. Over all My family and I are very disappointed in this place.

You suffocate with the humidity in this place. I wanted to leave but my husband was hungry. Dirty tables. We ask for our table to be cleaned. When she came back out she simply moved us to another dirty table, really.? Not very busy and the service was slow. Food not so terrible although pho soup with cilantro, not basil. Beef lemongrass with spaghetti, not vietnamese noodles. We're never going back again!

I usually love this place buuut I only come when it’s not busy while food and service is phenomenal. Today it was pretty busy and as service remained great, food quality wasn’t there. The spring roll was still a bit crunchy due to the rice paper not being wet throughly, the spicy beef soup didn’t come in a spicy broth at all but I used the condiments to make it spicy. The rice was great though! Our server Lluvia G worked really hard and was attentive. She was waiting numerous tables and was constantly moving and attentive. THANK YOU LLUVIA FOR MAKING THE EXPERIENCE BETTER.

Last night our family went and while our pho soup was delicious we ordered wings and they were completely undercooked and brought to us after 40+ min. The waitress seemed bothered half the time, which they were short staffed and there was no manager, so maybe that was her reason. All that to say, be careful what you order and what time you go.

The pho and spring rolls were delicious! The boba drinks are well made. Servers are friendly and accommodating. Tables are spaced out so the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. They have a cute little garden outside, and the decor inside is very nice! 4-stars only because inside the restaurant it is humid with plenty of flies. Other than that it was a nice place to eat!

What a beautiful place. I can't think of another place that has the ambience. First time here with my husband and son. I ordered a honeydew melon boba. The menu is daunting but I made a good choice with their vermicelli lemongrass chicken. My son had the fish clay pot the spiciness was just right. My husband had the charbroiled shrimp on a skewer with steak. Everything was delicious and the servings were extremely generous. I couldn't believe the prices either. If you haven't tried this place you need to .

This is a great place, the best option for Pho in El Paso. All dished are big and the environment at the restaurant is very peaceful and comfortable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has a great view with a pond and fish.

Beautiful place to enjoy your food! With live music & singing! Loved it! Service is as good as the place! The noodle is fresh and special flavored! They have hidden kid’s menus if your kid like mine refuses any seen-able spices in the bowl:)

I really like this place. It has nice atmosphere and the KOI fish 🐠 are nice to look at. Good quality is great 👍 Sometimes the lack Ingredients so it fills my appetite but no problem it’s hard to have certain products in these days. They didn’t have basil 🌿 the last time I went. (Months ago) To me it’s very important to have that in my stop and lots of it. Customer service was good but could be a little more attentive. Will be back soon! Parking outside is easy. Debit cards accepted and pretty clean location.

I called to place order and employee was not too familiar with menu. Not very helpful. The pho was okay, very aromatic, but lacked flavor. I recommend more fish sauce. Didn’t provide us with any roping for our pho. And the taro boba was very sweet for my liking. I love pho, and I was disappointed. It’s okay, but I would not come back here again.

We ordered take out and they forgot two drinks and we were still charged for it. Ordered two veggie entrees supposedly with flavor but they gave us plain steamed vegetables and tofu with with no salt or anything. Food that was prepared was good but don't order takeout on a busy night or you won't get what you ordered

It was my first time visiting El Paso with my family. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant!! My husband had been to this restaurant a year ago, and decided to take us last week. He said everything was better before. We ordered the pho, bun bo hue and banh xeo. The pho was okay, it was the only dish that’s edible. The bun bo hue didn’t look like spicy beef soup, the thick noodles were all broken, I had to fish for them. The meat was over cooked, dry and red. As for the garnishment, the veggies on side you put in the soup. The BEAN SPROUTS were sour, soft and yellowish/with brown ends. I told the server, the server said that how bean sprouts smelled like. I’m pretty sure I had more bean sprouts than her. We have been so many Vietnamese restaurants, from Vancouver BC Canada, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, New York! never had experienced with food like this before. Never coming back to this restaurant and will not recommend it to anyone.

I brought my friends from Mexico to eat in that restaurant that my husband choose. The place is very nice and caLm. The food was very good the noodles simple delicious, this is one star ⭐️ another one for the place ⭐️ and a Third ⭐️ because the location has a nice fish aquarium. Not 5 starts because the boba they served to us was really bad and simple and expensive.L, the service was not good and the tables really dirty.

Outside patio delightful. A great place for a date. Food was excellent. We had different dishes and they were all good.

Good dating place. Like the indoor botanical pond. Their business is expanding. They have 5 restaurants in local area. The front desk young man is very handsome! Go check it out😍

  • 5/5 Adrian G. 1 year ago on Google
Delicious food. A very unique setting on the patio with a little waterway and greenhouse feel. Can't be biased about service of course, but on this day our service was a little off. Would order a drink and see a few other tables get theirs before ours. I assume our server was just having a bad day though, so definitely recommend this one.

  • 5/5 Gabby V. 1 year ago on Google
The Gateway location specifically is amazing! The veggie broth is savory, their tofu is made consistently across their different dishes, and their portions are commensurate with their prices. Their peanut sauce (for spring rolls) is also very tasty. Great ambiance and full bar, the patio is nice for date night, though we got takeout this time

  • 4/5 Ralph T. 1 year ago on Google
The Brisket Pho was better than expected, the Tofu Curry was delicious, and the ice water had a plastic after taste to it unfortunately. Pho choices are plentiful, our waitress was terrific, very attentive. The atmosphere was pretty chill during a late Friday afternoon and not very busy. Finally, I would definitely recommend visiting if you enjoy Pho.

  • 5/5 Jedacast 4 years ago on Google
Great food at reasonable prices and the ambiance of this restaurant is beyond the average bear of cool places to eat. You have a choice of indoor or "outdoor", which is enclosed with a koi pond on the side. Great for a date night if you're like Pho. Other options are available of course. And plenty of vegetarian options for you or a friend. Would be happy to come again.

Currently (due to covid) restaurant is only allowing parties of 4 plan accordingly! Atmosphere is still great only seating in the enclosed patio right now. Had the Seafood Pho the broth was delicious just wish it had more shrimp! Other than that great price and great food!

Ventured out for a mommy and son date which is our tradition before school starts. I asked him about his favorite things, how he feels about family, school etc. Pho Tre Bien has virtual menus with QR codes as well as checks temperatures before seating us, so that made us feel a bit safer. Definitely 6+ feet of social distancing for the tables. They seated us outside and it's muggy with all the humidity and there were flies. It smelled slightly rank with all the Koi fish around. AC would have been appreciated. Condiments and chopsticks were individual packets and service was good especially since they got really busy and there was only one server and one hostess. Food came out in a timely manner and hot. There was hand sanitizer and lots of napkins provided. We didn't check out the bathrooms. Food was good, nothing to write home about but hit the spot. Expensive for what it is even in a border town. The boy got some "fun noodles" which is basically a tiny pho with 3 slices of brisket for $7, $2 for extra noodles. I got a banh xeo which is a Vietnamese crepe with shrimp and pork slices for $9. It wasn't as crispy as I'd normally like and filled with raw bean sprouts... normally they should be cooked, but I don't like them either way so I just took them out. There's was like 3 shrimps and 3 slices of pork. The fish dipping sauce had a ton of garlic and jalapenos and was on point. It's something that I can make at home but is a pain to do since I have to make the batter then fry it etc. I always order things I don't want to make at restaurants. We tipped the server well even though I didn't catch her name thru the mask since she was definitely working hard to provide all the tables service and we were all seated so far apart. I think Saigon Taste has better food and is a little less expensive, but I can't figure out their hours, so we came here instead.

Yesterday my gf and I went to have dinner there for the first time. Another couple walked in right before us. The hostess/take out waitress took their name and asked them to wait. Shortly after them she did the same thing with us. She instructed us to wait outside in their waiting area or our personal vehicle (due to covid precautions) and told us it would be 10-15 minute wait. We sat in our car for about 25-30 minutes when we saw the couple ahead of us went in. My gf and I preceded to sit in their waiting area outside which was disgusting. They had an AC unit leaking, two random bathroom sinks on the floor, and we saw worms on the ground. After we waited another 5-10 mins in their waiting area I went inside to ask how much longer. I saw the couple that went in before us and they were barely getting greeted by a waiter. Some tables in the inside were dirty just ready to be cleaned and sat. The hostess told us they had just sat that couple so it would be another 10 minutes. I went back outside and waited another 10 minutes. So we waited. By this time we had been waiting for about 45 minutes. I was upset and we left. We drove to another pho restaurant and ordered. While waiting for our food this restaurant calls my gf phone to let us know that we were finally going to get our table. It had been over an hour, we drove to another restaurant and they finally called us. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!

This place was horrible. They are doing construction and having everybody eat outside. One would think a restraunt might splurge and rent an evap cooler to keep everyone cool but they only have an oscillating fan. Our waitress pretty much avoided coming to check on us and when we finally got her we asked for lemons due to the tap water they served us tasting awful. It took several requests until she brought limes not lemons. Furthermore, my pho arrived with a tiny cup of sauce and no peanut sauce I had requested. When I told her I cannot eat the pho due to having no mixing sauces she told me "what do you expect, its a pandemic. You get what we give you. We give you all you need. I told her I did not want the food and to bring me the check for the Thai teas and the spring rolls which were good. She brought me a check for everything I refused to eat PLUS I stale iced tea. With all the pho places in the city, I might suggest that you avoid this one.

It was my first visit here, went with some co-workers. atmosphere was great and their patio seating next to the Koi ponds was awesome. Honestly I have to try a few more dishes to rate higher, but they do give you a lot of food for the price.

Food was pretty good. Beautiful pond full of Koi Fish. Service was decent. The young girl that helpped me was friendly. Bathrooms were horrible! Several other staff members were standing around, wish they could have cleaned the restroom.

Great spring rolls and I love the spicy beef soup with noodles. So tasty. I recently tried the 4 seasons rolls...wow that's alot of food, all of it was excellent! You should be able to find something on the menu you'll like, try it out.

I had never had Vietnamese food so I was a little cautious. Had the four spring rolls as an appetizer and it was wonderful. Then had the rare steak and brisket soup and just loved it. Atmosphere is great. Staff is excellent. Would definitely be back.

Love the decor but damn It's not the heat—it's the humidity.

This was our first time there. We wanted some ramen noodles. We bought the beef ramen and the seafood ramen. The beef was delicious. My wife ate the seafood. The place looked clean and as we were waiting outside, people kept driving up and picking up, which is always a good sign. The Thai bubble teas are very good also. I definitely recommend this place.

    Always great food

  • 1/5 Mariana M. 3 years ago on Google
Placed an order for pick up and when I got home I realized that my tofu clay pot was all rice and no tofu. I don't understand what it is about this whole carry out but since the lockdown started, there have been multiple accounts of people not grasping the concept of vegetarian meals including the requested protein. Aside from that, as soon as I realized the issue, I attempted to call only to be directed to a voicemail that was not accepting messages even though the restaurant hours were not after closing. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

My husbands favorite restaurant, the food never disappoints. I’m a firm believer in every job is important, to include that of a waitress. You would think when you pay 100 on dinner you’d have good service. But when you have people that don’t take pride in the job they do, you get less then mediocre service. Bad for business.
