I came to this place because it was featured on a show on a streaming service. The breakfast specials are good. It's a smaller portion but it is filling and delicious. I will go back and try other dishes. Update 9-30-23 I took the wife and mom for lunch. I had to lower the rating. I had the chuleta a la mexicana. It was forgettable. Mom had caldo de res. It was not fresh. Vegetables were mush. Wife had the carnitas. It was burnt chicharon. If you go don't try the specials. The show on Netflix showed very nice dishes. It looks like it was just for the episode. I will give it one more chance.

When we walked inside the waitress just stared at us. No hello or welcome so we just stood there and then she asked if we were dining in and we said yes. We sat down and later came to take our order. I went to the bathroom in the restaurant but it was disgustingly dirty and there was no soap. Luckily I had soap in my car. The waitress brought our food but forgot half of it. We thought it was coming but the waitress never came back to check on us. The food we did get was salty. When I went to tell our waitress about the forgotten food she was unapologetic and asked me what I wanted to do. She offered to make it but at that point I was tired of waiting. Apparently everyone else received watermelon except us. Will never return to this place.

This little restaurant is simple and has very good food. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very polite and courteous. They have delicious tortilla soup and breakfast. I will definitely be going back.

Food was delicious and the price was just right. $7.99 lunch special ; soup, main meal (5 choices) , drink and desert. Waitress was kind and attentive, but the restaurant is small and quaint. Has minimal parking spaces available. Definitely worth a try😋

The tortilla soup has great flavor, the chips seem to be a little out dated. My plate was not to my liking but not worth requesting to have something else. Great customer service and for the regulars i think they find out what they like and order that all the time.

This place reminds me of my Tia's house and cooking. It was so delicious and has the homemade taste and feel. It's a super comfy place to sit and enjoy a meal. Everything was made to order. You can taste the love that she puts into her food. I can't believe I had never eaten her before. Definitely will not be my last. The Huevos Rancheros were a treat, and the frijoles remind me of home-cooked meals of my childhood!

Down right great place homemade Mexican food.

It was cold outside when we got there....my daughter and I. They opened up early for us I thought that was the most hear felt moment.....I really appreciate them. The food is awesome and the coffee was the best. I recommend you have breakfast there. To Kika's Kitchen thank you so much

The food was great. We enjoyed the soup & daily special. I had green enchiladas & my husband had the fish. The place is small, but good and clean. The waitress was very courteous. We will return!

I've visited three times already and have not been disappointed. It's my closest thing to home that I've tasted in a long time. This little place will definitely put a smile on your face!!

The milk given to us for coffee was spoiled (it even had curds). Then when we received our food the beans were bad, they tasted and smelled sour. Very bad experience. The little elderly lady (possibly owner or Manager) was also disrespectful to the servers. I will never go back

We went to lunch and had the lunch special of meatballs. They were marble sized and the chipolte sauce was mediocre. First small bowl of tostadas was free, thereafter you had to pay. The salsa was very good. The lentil soup was one of the best we have had. The service was mediocre. We went back for their breakfast special and it was not very good. I don't think we will be back.

I tried the gorditas the Chile rojo are really good. Dessert was like a fruit salad really good too. Like banana pudding with melon. It was delicious. I. Definitely coming back for and try the tacos next.💯

Long wait times. Seems like they're never prepared for service. Would love to give them another shot but seems like they won't get it together any time soon.. Food has been sub par every time. Prices are wonderful. But everything has a reheated/old taste. Maybe it comes out of cans. I don't know.

I've been to Kika's a couple of times for breakfast, and it was good. The food is tasty, and the atmosphere is nice. I will return in the future.

It took a bit to find because it was memorial day and places where closed. This place was open. Thank you for that! I had a steak Ranchero plate. The meat was flavorful and well cooked, the portion was a descent size, the beans were okay, the chips and salsa were good, the waitress did good (thank you for that as well). I shall return to try other items in this little hike in the wall place. Sorry, I was too hungry by the time à got here I forgot to take a pic.

My wife and I go to this fine restaurant at least once a week. Good service the food is hot and very delicious. I recommend everyone to try it out. 5 starting in my perspective.

Ordered the tortilla soup to-go. They packed the soup separate from the tortilla chips and veggies. This way, the chips were not soggy by the time I got home which I really appreciate!

Service was excellent by Mabel. The place was very clean and covid safe. My breakfast of Huevos Rancheros was really good Will go back and recommend this place highly
