Had a small shower luncheon. Beautiful presentation of desserts, which were some of the best I’ve ever had. We brought in a few of our own decorations to make it more personal. Overall they did a wonderful job! Excellent service and delicious food. I will definitely use this venue again!!

The food was okay. It used to be better before they changed ownership. They have stopped making some of the more popular dishes that they used to serve. It's always been pricey, but with the decline in quality and selection, it makes it hard to justify the amount of money we paid. $55.00 for my wife and I.

Worst nachos I've ever had, they were covered in bean juice and whole beans that weren't even mashed. By the time I got my nachos they were soggy from the juice. I've never had more lazily made nachos

Beautiful atmosphere and hands-down the best service we've had in town. Very attentive and professional staff. I saw a lot of teamwork between waitresses, waiters, and the host, and despite being short-staffed, their ability and willingness to work together to help each other out really set the service apart as exemplary. $5 Old Rasputin, tender and flavorful steak, delicately cooked salmon, and beautiful dessert plates. If we were in town long we'd definitely come back.

Great for vegan options, they have alterations cheeses amd impossible meat and a vegan 7 later cake. They even take extra time to clean in-between serving so that they don't risk cross contamination

Lunchtime adventure. We didn't know what to expect when we walked in, but we were definitely surprised of the ambience and the food. The restaurant is very clean and gave us a great atmosphere. The food was light and tasty.

What a nice surprise! I saw a commercial about this restaurant prior to my coming to eat here in April 2023. I hadn’t been to Sunland Park Mall in years and was saddened by the emptiness of closed businesses but happy that this restaurant is still there and viable 🙂. I ordered the Greek salad, half chicken salad sandwich, and sweet potato fries. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and beer-battered fries. DELICIOUSNESS! Great meal! Great Service and ambiance! Looking forward to returning and I’ve been telling everybody to check them out. No regrets.

Going to the Greenery has been extremely frustrating. We usually go to breakfast on Sundays. First they would be open at 10:00 am. Then we were told they wouldn’t be opening until 11:00am. I had heard that they had closed down so yesterday I called to verify it and was told that they now open at 9:00am. We arrived at 9:30 and was told they didn’t open until 10:00. We decided to wait and after 20 minutes we decided to sit and wait inside. When we entered we were told the head chef, Manny, decided they weren’t opening until 10:30. We had had enough and left. The Greenery is permanently off our list. Not worth the time.

My family and I have frequented the greenery for quite a few years now. They use fresh ingredients and it’s all made from scratch. Service is pretty consistent with a few hiccups here and there but overall most servers give excellent service. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The balsamic chicken is my absolute favorite. Food takes a bit since it’s all made from scratch but it’s well worth the wait.

We tried this place 10 years ago and couldn't find anything on the menu that wasnt junk or something generic. Just went back and it hasn't changed. Nothing "green" about it - styrofoam cups with plastic lids and straws brought out to kids without asking, and the grain-alternative options were sad. No hint of organic or local produce used. We left.

Great tasting food and very good service. Perhaps unexpected in a shopping mall, we had a great lunch. Our server kept my water full the whole time, one barometer for service. Bummer the espresso machine was broken.

It’s not like the old Greenery, our server was so sweet but that’s as far as it goes. Food is not good at all. It lacks flavor (especially the green chili soup). Seems a child fixed my BLTA sandwich. The iced tea serve in small glasses, it seems they’re rationalizing the tea! It used to be my favorite restaurant. So sad. Unfortunately not going back.

First of all, "greenery" represents not just the way they decorate their entire restaurant, but also the way they cook and serve their food in a "light" way, which gives the flavours but not the greasy. Ordered their pulled beef salad (the beef was so well blended with gravy), green chillies meatloaf (meatloaf well seasoned), and french dip sandwich (delicious even without dipping), ALL VERY NICE !!! Will definitely come again soon !!!

We use to eat at the Greenery at the Sunland Park Mall in El Paso,Tx several times a month. Today we were close by so we decided to stop and have lunch. We were extremely disappointed. FIRST of all it is very dark inside the main room/ SECOND, I asked for NO Tomato on my sandwich. Of course it came with one. I sent it back and then had to wait for them to make another one WITHOUT tomato. The servers response to the tomato mistake was a simple "Oh". THIRD, my husband had to ask for ketchup for his fries. The bottle given him was beyond disgusting! It had caked on, dried up ketchup on the cap and down the side- my husband was afraid to touch it. (he got up and got another for himself) FOURTH, there was no regular sugar on our table for our coffee. The server brought us THREE packages. (They must be running out!!) Needless to say we won't be eating at the Greenery any time soon!!

The only sitdown restaurant in the Sunland Patk Mall. However, it's not just an eatery for shoppers on the run. It's a good location for lunch or dinner with a menu that offers something for everyone, from child's plates to appetizers, soups and salads, to sandwiches and full course meals. The Greenery is also known for its fine pastries and muffins. While we were there, a sign offered a free muffin if you took a photo with the Muffin Man and posted it on line. Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity because I was too busy with our monthly meeting of the Westside Democrats of El Paso. We held meeting in The Greenery's Banquet Room.

After shopping at the mall, but came here for dinner. We were promptly seated. Service was quick and effective. Food was surprisingly good for the price point. We even resolved to come back here again next time we are shopping at the mall. The decor is a little dated. Do not get the desserts here. The rest of the menu seems quite enticing and the food we have tried here so far was very good.

The food was good, but expensive for what you receive. The ambience is nice and calming. It just seemed a little too expensive for what you actually receive. If I am being honest I had a better tasting meal at Lubys for a much cheaper price. I will not be back unless someone invites me.

The restaurant was basically empty, it seemed fully staffed with about 6 people waiting the 4-5 filled tables in the entire restaurant, yet it took roughly 45 minutes for two salads and a sandwich to come out. Also, the fries were very cold when they came out. When we informed our waiter of the cold food they said sorry and didn’t bother to fix the issue. This place has gone downhill.

My new favorite Westside restaurant! Wow, great food and atmosphere. Beautiful music playing, great garden environment. The wait staff were good, a little quiet at first but pleasant by the end of our visit. I had the turkey and Swiss sandwich with batter dipped fries. Fantastic sandwich and THE BEST fries. My friend had the carrot soup. Wow! So delicious. I'd give more stars if I could. Bon appetite!

  • 1/5 Eduardo M. 1 year ago on Google
THEY ADD SUGAR TO EVERYTHING!!! The waiting staff were ok, however, we noticed they add sugar to several plates, especially pizza. It is almost unthinkable that something as an iconic italian dish could be ruined by this. The marinara was awfully sweet and many dishes came out sweet as well. No wonder why we would feel sluggish after eating there. This is a disgusting way of attempting to increase sales, like McDonald's often do. Sugar is extremely toxic and dangerous if diabetic people are nor warned. Their meals are making you fatter and fatter the more you consume them. The host and hostess are kind of psychos and about to snap, they get mad if you don't accept the table they choose for you. Most of the employees need customer training. It used to be one of our favorite places, now we will have to choose between getting fat or avoiding diabetes. Lastly, salmon is always, always served raw or burned and served in reduced portions, steaks and hamburgers are never on point. We just got fed up giving chances to this place, unfortunately it will never be the place that it used to be.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. The food is always delicious!! If you love onions you MUST try their onion soup. I would also recommend their margaritas! The atmosphere is nice, there's rarely a wait and the food is so good!

Greenery always delivers excellent food. Their chicken Jerusalem and their Cobb salad is outstandingly delicious. Great portion sizes. Attentive servers. Nice ambiance. Thank you for the satisfying customer service and the delicious meals as well as the bountiful options on the menu.

Nice, cozy atmosphere, excellent food and great service. Some friends suggested it last week for dinner and what a pleasant surprise! I hadn’t been to the Greenery in years. Came back again today for lunch. Santa Fe was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The prices are reasonable as well. If debating, you can’t go wrong!

First time going here for lunch. We ordered the Calamari, Turkey AVO Swiss, and the Taco Fajitas. Tried to order the wings but they were out of the sauce, the server said the sauce is amazing... Calamari was good, a few pieces that the batter was soggy but was still decent. Turkey AVO Swiss seemed like something you could make at home and the Fajita Tacos (steak) with corn tortillas... the steak wasn't very flavorful and tasted like it was frozen, the tortillas... you're in El Paso serving those (soggy, falling apart). Really wanted to try those wings, place looked good but probably won't eat there again.

Lovely atmosphere. We ordered the meatloaf, a burger, and a turkey and green chile sandwich. All were equally delicious 😋 The fries were really good. I just had to get a warm zucchini muffin, it was just a good as ever. This place is a hidden gem.

Efficient and very pleasant waiter! I had the basaltic chicken with the tamale and it was done right. The muffins, especially the zucchini, are always delicious. Penne pesto chicken was also prepared really tasty. The potato soup was creamy and with a tad of Tabasco added the perfect heat.

The experience overall was great, the food was really good, we had the fetucinni with green Chile and shrimp (highly recommended), Santa Fe burger and the kid's Mac and cheese. The beer was cold and plentiful. Unfortunately there was a hair found in the burger to which we were told it didn't match any of the cooks' heads, it also did not match any of ours so the jury is still out. The server was very professional about it and we were impressed enough to not be deterred for a second chance. This review could have been 5 stars if not for the mystery hair

Someone needs to look hard at what hot Reuben should be like! What it is not is Texas style 3/4 inch thick slices of dry Rye Toast with salty dry meat. Please just Google or YouTube how to make a Reuben on Rye you'd be surprised how simple a good Reuben can be. Even better, go to Jason's Deli for a quick lesson! Also one should not need to beg for a pat of butter or two to go along with the special "Homemade Muffin." Just stop being so stingy with condiments. Last but not least, get rid of the sticky book style menus. Nobody does this anymore as the menu book can't be cleaned properly. Most health departments do not allow for absorbent materials to be used in menus! My recommendation is to avoid the Reuben and don't ask for a lemonade; you'll be disappointed in both.
