It's been a while since my wife has looked at me and said "I love you", like she did directed at the Lumpia in front of her. 🤣 All joking aside, we had an absolutely wonderful and authentic Filipino meal here at Halo Halo. All of the food was hot and fresh. The Pancit with a little lemon juice was awesome and the Adobo was great. The bbq pork sauce was not spicey or sweet and the fried pork had the perfect crunch. Though should try the pineapple drink because it was perfect. My only complaint was having to clean or own table. The entire time I was here, nobody came to wipe down tables before customers sat down. But this is a place to try for sure. 😎

This was my first time at this place, so honestly, I asked what they recommended and then got a bit of each. I don't remember the names of all the foods, but you can check out the pictures I took and figure out for yourself when you get there. The crispy meat in the big box is similar to chicharrones. The rice is normal, and next to it is Filipino noodles. The rolls had some kind of meat in them, and are really good. I think one of the separate containers is BBQ. Lastly, the drink is their Halo Halo special. It is fantastic! So creamy, and the other ingredients add texture and flavor to it. Perfect if you have a sweet tooth. They have shakes there too, but I didn't order any as I had plenty of food already. If you see the estimate for how much I paid, please note that what I ordered was definitely enough food for 3-4 people. So doing the math, the food is super affordable, and a treat for your tummy and taste buds.

I'm not Filipino but I was married to one for a long time. When I found out a out this restaurant I knew I have to come support. The food was very good. I had the pork adobo and BBQ pork with pancit and lumpia. I also tried the Sao Pao and of course the Halo Halo. I wanted sinigang but it was not on the menu today. Perhaps it is on certain days. I left full and happy. Even if you never had Filipino food at least try the Halo Halo it was delicious and they sell desserts to go as well. All it needs is balut and karaoke but I'm are just happy they are here. As a restaurant manager my whole life Good luck and wish you lots of success!

One of my favorite places now. Fried pork is heaven. Being Puerto Rican in El Paso and finding pork like this feels like home. Give it a try.

Visited with on Friday. We came a little later in the lunch hour so there was no line. The staff was very friendly and got my to-go order ready pretty quick. I went with the BBQ pork plate. The pork was awesome melt-in-your-mouth goodness that had a great grilled flavor like it just came from the backyard grill. The pork plate came with lumpia, which are almost like eggrolls. Only better. Be sure to try them with the tangy dipping sauce. My plate also came with pancit noodles. Pancit is like stir-fried lo-mein. Only way better! I also tried a cup of pork rib calderata (stew). This is a tasty stew with small pieces of soft pork rib, carrots, and potatoes. It was delicious! My dad had this for his entrée. For sides, we got siaopao (pork steam buns). These are rolls of the softest bread. Filled with more of that amazing BBQ pork. I also had a chicken empanada. It was filled with chicken and veggies. It was almost like a chicken pot pie.... in an empanada! And delicious! Finally, for dessert, we shared a large halo-halo. This traditional dessert drink has layers of ice cream, flan, fruit, and crushed ice. It's really sweet so have a glass of water ready. Five stars, because I can't give 10! I'd go again! The food was amazing! Salama po (thank you)!

What a cute place to visit and enjoy delicious food. Certainly a hidden treasure in El Paso’s busy Eastside. Reminded me of a bodega all while serving fantastic food.

This is the only pinoy restaurant in EL PASO. Though there are food trucks out there. This place is growing/improving. Worth the drive. They do catering as well for pinoy parties. Kulang nalang mag tinda sila ng alcohol eh. 😉🤣 red horse

The food is okay. Nothing special. My adobo taste way better. When it comes to flavor, its okay. Like a Carinderia type of food in the Philippines. The only thing I like is halo halo.

I've been an advocator of this place since it opened and love the food; I come in regularly. However, I came in this afternoon and was met with some animosity. I'm not exactly sure why. I typically order the same thing and wanted to try something new so I asked and the owner hit me with the "everything is good". However she did let me try what I was curious about and I liked it enough to order it. Overall nothing significant but still slightly unfriendly which magnified the negativity of the next event. My issue started is when I ordered two Halo Halos and was waiting for a good 5-10 minutes. Initially it wasn't a problem since it was busy with only two people handling the orders. That is until a guy two people behind me approached the register and also ordered two Halo Halos. He recieved his first despite me ordering a decent chunk of time before him. I tried to let the staff know but they rushed me out with a "Thank you." Before I got a chace to speak. My Halo Halos were partially melted by the time I recieved them, indicating they had been sitting there for some time. Overall I felt unwelcomed and extremely overlooked.

This restaurant has food truck hours so good luck catching it open. Literally been driving past it for 2 months and finally caught it open. The african chicken was the best one that I picked. I had asked online once if they had chicken lumpia to which they said yes but when i finally caught them they didnt have it. Be careful with the slushies- super sweet.

OMG the food is amazing! The staff is friendly and for those of you wanting to know, they do a military discount. The lumpia was delicious as was the pancit. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

This is my favorite restaurant. Everything is always delicious. Staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is great. :) I've ordered delivery multiple times and everything is always great and accurate. I definitely prefer ordering takeout in store though. Honestly recommend everything they have available. 🤗

Dined in with family of 3. Loved the pancit and lumpia. The adobo chicken and bbq chicken are their best sellers, awesome. We also got the pork hum a—Filipino tender pork, lechon—a deep fried pork belly, pork sinigang—a sour pork stew, and a vegetable dish with some type of winter melon. Generous portions, extremely friendly service, not to mention patient and understanding—they explained everything to us. I love supporting small, family businesses, especially when the food is awesome! If you’ve never had Filipino food, it’s great, because it’s premade and you can point at what looks good to you. Will absolutely go back. Be aware they close at 6.

Almost a half hour drive for me and my family but worth it. One of the cleanest Filipino establishments I've ever been to. I love their hospitality and the prices are quite reasonable. Recently they've added a mini market and have expanded their dining area. The place looks amazing and the vibe is awesome. Highly recommend the lumpia, one of the best I've ever eaten. Halo halo though, felt like they lessened their ingredients and the kare kare that was served had way too much tripe in my container. I would have liked a bit more meat to tripe ratio. Overall, will continue to come back when my family and I get the chance.

We recently moved to El Paso, and I was so excited to have found this restaurant especially since it is named after my favorite Filipino dessert, I had to try it. The food did not did not disappoint, my husband and I LOVED it. The portion size was great and the Halo-Halo was amazing! We will be back!
