A ravine curves encouragingly and hides the Cascada until the last moment of a good long hike. Then its reveal is somewhat of a disappointment as the waterfall is a man made stone wall of about 10 feet tall which has a trickle of rusty coloured water trickling over the top. However, the ravine hike to it is superb.

I am not sure about the walk to the waterfall directions because i walked along the river bed which was super cool to be next to the river full of wild life. The river changes colour regularly and despite it being August it was quite full. Very enjoyable. There are no facilities so make sure you take snacks and plenty of water. I would really like to go again maybe after a rainfall

It is a joke to call it waterfall - just around 2 m tall and it is more like a burst pipe. The route is nice but very flat. Select another hiking route with great view instead.

The warerfall iteslf was not very impressive, but we really enjoyed the hike. The path led along the river and most of the time it was shady, which was great with small kids. We had great time refreshing in the water and playing with pebbles. Beautiful gorge at some locations. You will probably not enjoy it if you rush, but a great way to spend a day with small kids. You can go one way on a trail and come back along the river. Or you can take a taxi to the top and go down a bit longer way.

This is a tourist trap. The waterfall is manmade and ten times smaller and less attractive than it appears in marketing materials. You can have fun painting the rock walls with the mud there:) While the waterfall is not as great as thought, the hike up there through the canyon is really great and one of the best hikes on the island. There’s also a nice campsite further up from the waterfall, with water and clean WC. Note that the hike is pretty demanding and you are going to cross the stream in the canyon numerous times, so make sure your shoes are fit for that. Parking down at the trail start is well marked and sufficient. Enjoy!

Cascada de los Colores is a hike that starts at Parking por la Cascada de Los Colores. This trail takes you roughly 3h and 30 min from parking to the waterfall and then back. You need hiking shoes, because the terrain is rocky a you will often be stepping into water, as the trail follows a stream to the waterfall itself. I recommend to visit, as the scenery around the stream and waterfall is beautiful and its worth to see

The beginning of the hike is boring but the waterfall worth it πŸ˜„. It's better if you come from the refuge (but longer)

Despite the waterfall colours are not as years ago, the walk is highly recommende. We started at 9'30 and was back 16'30 with plenty of breaks during the walk. Do NOT trust Google Map driving recommendations to Mirador Comprecita! You must drive to Barranco de las Angustias
