nice hostel, kind people and volunteers and an beautiful terrace. It’s perfectly located in the center of El Paso and has some nice views from from roof. The rooms and beds are okay. Nothing to complain about.

Awesome Place for more then one night. The Hostel has all you need. 3 bathrooms a very nice big kitchen where you always meet nice people and pirates... The Sun terrace is a perfect place after a hike. Every friday is live music in town. And by car you only need 15 minutes to the beach or Los Llanos City. Highly recommend this place to stay. Good Energy here. Volunteers are lovely!

You get what you paid for. The people working there are friendly and they take their time to explain everything. I booked a private room it was right beside the street and entrance door. It's loud, you can hear the people next to your room snore and other things, so don't forget your ear plugs ;) There is a kitchen with some free food, it's very generous! Everything is close by, supermarket, restaurants...

I have never been a huge fan of hostels but if all hostels would be like this one, I'd certainly be. It's a very charming, lovely little place with a great atmosphere. We stayed there for ten days and we will certainly come back. What's good? The rooms are simple but have much more flair than your average hostel. You'll find art and plenty of charming details that create a nice atmosphere. The shared bathrooms are very clean at all times. The shared kitchen and social room is lovely and generally the place seems to attract nice and good people. We made many connections from across the world and all age groups. The carefully arranged roof terrace gives you a great view and is a nice place to hang out. The staff, including ownership, are lovely people, very helpful, and highly attentive. The location on the island is very good and you can reach all points-of-interest in a fair amount of time. The direct environment has some nice walks and El Paso itself is one of the islands nicer little villages including very good infrastructure from banks to shopping to gastronomy. The kitchen is well equipped and even contains a very nice selection of things available to everyone (spices, some bread and veggies etc.). What you should know It's an old building - so don't expect a perfect noise isolation and a few sounds coming from doors. The average person won't have an issue, highly noise sensitive people better bring ear plugs. At peak hours, the kitchen/social space can be packed. We only encountered kind and respectful fellow guests with which we enjoyed talking and sharing a glass of local wine - but if you like to be in piece and quiet, avoid peak hours. The owners are conscious of the environment and the islands scarce resources. As German, I'm used to recycling and separating my waste, as you are asked to do in the kitchen. I find it very good but if sustainable practices are annoying to you, it's maybe not the right place for you. Summary Great place, we'll definitely be back. Best hostel I've been to.

Nice place (Rooftop terrace) with a very kind host and good vibes, But the house and most of the furniture is very used and bathroom and kitchen were not clean at all! I used my own cutlery because some of the kitchen dishes were really digusting, unfortunately the host does not really bat an eye on that. But to be fair it is pretty cheap. Still: I think If I would go again to la Palma I would invest 10€ more and book something different
