I’ve
been
searching
for
(swimming)
facilities
to
complement
my
modified
RCAF
stretching/strengthening/weight
loss
exercises,
and
was
pleased
at
how
well
Marty
Robbins
Aquatic
center
meets
my
needs.
I
was
able
to
sample
with
an
initial
day-use
fee
($3),
and
magnificent
manager
Victor
told
me
that
it
is
a
better
deal
that
if
you
swim
at
least
9
days,
buy
the
30-day
pass.
($27regular/$16seniors).
After
my
initial
swim
in
this
not-too-crowded
indoor
pool,
I
quickly
bought
the
30-day
pass,
and
have
been
arriving
every
morning
it’s
open
during
the
past
month.
Even
my
wife
has
enjoyed
it
on
the
few
occasions
she
has
been
able
to
get
away.
Another
great
aspect
are
the
life
guards;
they
are
all
certified
and
extremely
conscientious
about
their
tasks.
I
always
thank
them
for
watching/keeping
us
safe,
but
no
extended
discussions—they
do
not
need
to
be
distracted!
Part
of
their
job
is
to
assist
more-disabled/wheelchair
users
with
an
electrical
chair
to
enter/exit
the
water.
The
change
room
is
ready
with
toilets/sinks/mirrors/bench
seating/hooks/foaming
soap
dispensers/four
excellent
1/4-turn
showers/no
lockers.
Adjacent
to
the
womens
change
room
(which
I
assume
is
similar
to
the
mens)
is
a
speed
suit
water
removal
machine.
This
is
an
excellent
relatively
shallow
(no
deep
end
for
diving)
swimming
pool,
and
certainly
has
my
coveted
“iWheel
of
Approval!”
