Every time myself or others I know have come here, there has been a bad experience. I gave it one more shot because it is close by and it had been a while since I'd been. Long wait, as usual, but that's not really what bothers me. I spent maybe 3 minutes with the actual doctor just for him to tell me it's allergies. He hardly looked at me and sat in his chair the whole time, no real evaluation. I explained to him I didn't think it was, I've had bad allergies and this didn't feel the same, he basically told me he didn't know what else it could be and sent me home with a prescription for eye drops I can buy over the counter. My condition kept getting worse, so I went to a different urgent care and was diagnosed with something completely different that needed treatment. I can't imagine if someone went in with an actually life threatening condition, waiting hours in the lobby to only see a doctor for a couple minutes and be sent home. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The front desk lady is nice… and that’s where the good ends… Initial visit told me they were too busy so had to come back in a few days… next visit, return and the nurse that attends me inside is rude, bothered, and no skills whatsoever. He seemed annoyed being there. Then I tell him the symptoms and I wait. He comes back inside and asks me what I want to get tested for… shouldn’t that be coming from them, not me? I then get told to check results online and if any issues, to come back to discuss if anything is wrong and we could discuss at no cost. I wait a few days, check online and see there is an issue to discuss. I go back and get told again, too busy, come back the next day. I make an appointment the next day and go back and get told I have to pay again even though the doctor had told me I did not have to. The lady at the front asks the manager and she gets told again, that I have to pay another deductible to talk to the doctor even though it was a follow up visit that THEY asked me to come back in for. Luckily I made an appointment with my PCP so declined to pay them again and left.

Yvonne was amazing, kind and extremely helpful. Wait time wasn’t too long But they did have an emergency and in my opinion after they did the vitals in the patient they should have kept her in the back, instead she was in the lobby they called 911 Major hippa violations… they were disclosing all her information in front of us not to mention some people had their kids and it can be a traumatic experience for some children. I hope you do the right thing and self report to the State. Your a facility that could have kept this patient in the back. Do right by your patients keep them and their info safe and maintain their info private.

Great experience! I went in as a new patient on a walk-in basis. The front desk receptionist was pleasant and courteous, and the intake process was organized, quick and easy. The wait time was not bad at all. I waited about 20 minutes to be called back. Once in the treatment room, I waited another 20 min to be seen by the doctor. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. I liked the doctor who examined me. He addressed my needs and didn't make me feel rushed. It's very clean looking and wasn't run down or dingy. Lastly, I really appreciated that they called my prescription into the pharmacy for me. When you're not feeling well, those extra little measures go a long way. I would definitely recommend this place to family & friends.

*Update edit added at end. First visit was rated one star Pro: They do take TriCare. Con: I had an appointment for my daughter at 11:30. Two hours after my appointment time they start calling people back who have arrived after I have. I have to go and ask why the 12 o’clock appointments are being called back before us. We are reassured that we are going to be next but then my five year old has to use the bathroom because she’s a 5 year old. They call her name while we are in the bathroom. They are told we are in the bathroom. Then they call the next two people to put them ahead of us instead of waiting two minutes for us to come out. We have literally waited two hours for them and they can’t wait two minutes for me! They literally put four people ahead of us. After we come out of the bathroom we are told we are next and then they call someone else! This is beyond frustrating after waiting two hours to have everyone else moved ahead of you in line. I talked to them again and I am reassured that we are next. Know that having an appointment does not matter. They put everyone ahead of you. Finally after a little over two hours we are in a room. I have no idea how long we will have to wait in this room. They still have to see the four people they put ahead of me before us. This is ridiculous. Even the front desk lady says she doesn’t know how they’re calling them back like that. I’ll just go somewhere else next time. SECOND VISIT: 4 star visit. I decided to try again. Brought my son. This time I checked in as a walk in online prior to arrival. We were called back 40 minutes after coming into the building. We saw the doctor within minutes of being taken back. The nurse and doctor we saw on August third we’re soo nice and helpful. My first review was one star. After this visit, I’m adding stars. The front desk lady was very nice at both visits.

Rudest receptionist ever. Why do these places hire people like this. People are sick and she has no empathy or patience for anyone. The way she interacted with us and the rest of the people that walked in, was unacceptable. Not to mention how rude she was on the phone. This will be the last time I come here.

What we like about the Medpost urgent care is the ease of setting up appointments. We have used them for both the kids and my husband when he gets injured. It’s nice that they have x ray capabilities. What is not so good is what we experienced today. My husband fell off the ladder yesterday and had significant swelling and muscle tension. We wanted him to be seen to get some relief from symptoms. They did x-rays, but we did not suspect fracture because none of his joints/ leg bones were tender. It was all calf/ muscle pain. When we asked for a muscle relaxer after, all he was given was Ibuprofen, he was told he would have to go somewhere else to get that. Well he has a PCP appointment two weeks from now, that is why we went to the urgent care to get some relief so he could walk better and not feel so much pain at night. Such a small thing could have made such a difference but you cannot make people care for your pain and discomfort.

My wife took my daughter to be seen, made an appointment, waited 45 minutes to be called just to be told that the physician will not see children. I understand that may be the case, but my family should not have to make an wait just to be told they aren't going to be seen. Unacceptable.

I went in for a consultation for my throat because I had tonsillitis the doctor didn't listen to a word I said, was with a bad attitude at first. He got my paperwork mixed up with someone else I believe and diagnosed me with covid when they did not test me and I didn't go there for a test. I'm a pharmacist tech so I noticed the medication weren't what I needed and it was for covid and so I tried to ask to talk to the doctor but the front lady didn't really let me so my pharmacist manager tried to call for me to tell him I didn't have covid, and I need a antibiotic. He was so positive I had it and wouldn't listen to my manager either So I called again, and tried to explain and he still was cutting me off saying I had covid till he noticed he got it all wrong that's when his attitude changed and he told me to go back to get strep throat tested and antibiotics that he didn't still want to give to me even though my tonsils were so inflamed and he did not apologize First and last time I will go there. It was inconvenient and annoying to deal with that ignorant doctor.

Every time I come to this location the staff is always in good spirits and happy to help. Claudia at the front desk is very nice and check in is a breeze. Michael the nurse there has a very compassionate and very pleasant to speak with. You can tell he genuinely cares for your well being. Dr Barnes is awesome. You are in great hands here at this location. They make going to the Dr. Quick and painless!

Don’t fall for these fake reviews. This place is the worst. Had 2 appointments for 5:15 and 5:30 for my kids sports physicals. Somehow one appointment was not showing in the system but the receptionist “swears she remembers putting it in” and that the doc will see both. Ended up waiting over 2 hrs before seeing anybody for either “appointment”. Debated on leaving but we paid when arriving/registering. Part of the problem was the receptionist forgot to give us some tablet to finish registering after we turned in the papers we filled out (we found this out by watching someone who got there 30 min after us get a tablet when registering and when we asked the receptionist about it she ended up giving us one). At one point we asked when we would be seen and we got the response “you haven’t even been here over an hr yet”. Guess that’s how appointments work these days. To make matters worse on my end, I spent several hundred dollars on a hotel/dinner reservation for valentines which I ended up spending half the night in a waiting room because someone is either incompetent or can’t do their job. Go somewhere else if possible

I visited here in February medical side was okay. Billing is terrible as a company. I'm TRICARE we pay a $36.00 Co pay each and every time we use a medical service like this. When I checked in I mention to the clerk about paying my copay she noted no need? Then I went to the office at Kenworthy in April they noted I had a balance of $36.00 for the visit above. I paid at the Kenworthy office location the past due from the visit above. Then their main billing mails me a $36.00 balance letter. I figured it was paid so it would flush out. On Monday I get another bill showing 30 days overdue. This is for a balance paid off. Poor billing poor copay management. Then when you call the billing number to talk to the main billing about a bill after the stupid language it dies off. The medical care is fine but if you have chase thier billing practices maybe time to change my urgent care.

No wonder why this place has low rankings. Walked in at 7 o’clock to have my son seen because I believe his thumb was broken. The girl in the front Claudia said her name was with a tattoo on her neck stated that they are at capacity and the whole building looked dead not even one car in the front. she said she can no longer see walkins past five. If they don’t want to work here It’s definitely noticeable. What’s the point of having work in patient care when you don’t want to take care of patients?highly recommend you go somewhere else if they can’t even see patients what makes you think that they’re gonna be treated the right way?Starting with the front great impression I feel sorry for the doctor in this facility if they are making money it’s because of this person. Thanks, Claudia.

My wife and I walked in to the center and the receptionist (Yvonne S)received us with a smile and asked us how can she help us, I mentioned that we did not have an appointment at that point she mentioned not to worry, took my wife's information and handle us the tablet to finish the registration; in less of a minute my wife was called in. All this process was done in less of an hour. I just want to commend the staff very courteous and respectful. Thank you.

Had a follow up appointment with doctor 6/12 and doctor was not present. Staff failed to mention he was in vacation and reschedule appointment for another day. I asked to schedule an appointment they had to get permission to get seen. Since other clinics don't want you to follow up at another location. Handsoap and restrooms should be maintained always.

Friendly staff, was in and out within an hour but had to make appointment early in the morning. This is my go to clinic when I don't feel well. They have yet to disappoint. My advise is to get an appointment made before going in. I made an appointment at 3am and the earliest I could get in was at 9:45 am. Overall experience has always been great there.

I made my appointment on line so I didn’t have to sit and wait around long. Filled out forms ahead of time too. I was notified by text that I was up for my appointment. I showed up paid my copay sat down for two minutes and was seen immediately. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Everyone was professional empathetic and helpful. I would definitely return there if necessary. Their process is great.

They are awesome. I was in an out within an hour even though they were under-staffed. Very pleasant staff for sure. I would definitely go there again.

Have been to Zaragoza location and in comparison this one runs a LOT slower. There was only 4 people in the waiting room and my visit took over 2.5hrs. The Dr was extremely nice, patient, great bedside manner and explained everything. The other location is always twice as busy yet twice as fast. Won’t be back to this location again.

Receptionist at the front offered to help to register. You need to register online or with the QR code that is available at front desk. It was simple to register. The doctor was very nice and so was the medical assistant. I highly recommend!

Barely any wait time. I was in and out. Care provider was proficient and quick. Accommodated my care request without any push back. Gave comprehensive treatment instructions and a quick run through of possible progression of care.

I have always liked the staff here when it was Medpost. I am happy that the staff was kept. I wish it wouldn’t have changed from Providence to Del Sol. I do not trust Del Sol, but I am happy to be able to see the ones who know me.

I normally would come to this location for all our urgent care needs, but after today I will not be returning. I had scheduled an appointment for my 1 yr old son who I suspected may have an ear infection. Received a confirmation text for said appointment. I drive to the location only to see it was closed for the day. No phone call was given to me to inform me that the provider wasn't there. Thankfully the Medpost location on Edgemere got my son in quickly and accessed his needs. Please do better to inform patients if a provider isn't there.

I love the quickness of being able to find an appointment online! The check-in receptionist to the nurse and doc were all kind and explained anything that needed to be explained. I have been to this location multiple times for myself/kids. I will always come back when needed.

My adult son with disabilities had the flu and an ear infection, and has a phobia of doctors offices. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, and at no time did we feel rushed or neglected. The receptionist let us wait in our car instead of the waiting room, and was very patient while I registered using their tablet. Receptionist, Nurse, and the Physician's Assistant we saw were all professional in demeanor, and made my son and I feel like they cared. Facility was clean and well ordered. Despite their apologies for the wait time, we did not have to wait long to receive care. I estimate that our entire visit, from check-in to exit, took less than an hour. My son wants to go back the next time he is sick. I would like to thank all of the personnel who helped us during our visit; they made our medical necessity a good experience. I intend to go back for myself the next time I need medical care.

I came in as a walk in without insurance. I expected to wait a little while as I didn't make an appointment but thankfully my issue was not urgent. Once called in the staff was nice and helped me feel comfortable. The doctor talked to me through the process, and explained any details that were important to me. He was kind and very knowledgeable! I felt i was in good hands. Thank you for treating my finger, i was incredibly worried!

They were pleasant, fast and I knew exactly what I was going to be charged as self pay before I was seen. They answered my questions at the front. The nurse that administered my test was efficient and friendly. The doctor was quick without feeling rushed. I would go back if needed.

Everytime I come to this one, it's always really good service! Yvonne at the front as always pleasant and willing to answer any questions I have. The doctors and nursing staff in the back are always nice to the me, and offering sound medical advice. Definitely Is my go to urgent care. From the front desk to the back.

Simply the best place to go for rapid professional care of acute onset symptoms. I walked in and was greeted by a kind person who took my information politely & quietly. She had soothing background music playing, her waiting room was clean & organized. The Intake medical professionals’ questions about onset of signs and symptoms and current medications were intelligent and specific. She seemed genuinely sympathetic. The Physician who diagnosed & treated me did a “complaint specific” exam,; quickly ordering the necessary medications & explaining how they would resolve my infection & the pain it was causing. He was fast- but not rushed. Medpost offers amazing services when there’s no time to make an appointment with your regular doctor and an Emergency Room visit is not appropriate.

I made an appointment online, and was seen yesterday at 6:30. I was terribly sick, and nobody wants or feels like even going to a doctor when you’re so sick but, It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at an urgent care, and it was very quick. The staff treated me so kindly, and they even gave me a lollipop after I received 3 shots (I’m 33, but let’s be honest…who doesn’t want a lollipop after getting shots 💁🏼‍♀️). Sweetest staff and Dr. ever!

  • 5/5 Melanie R. 1 year ago on Google
The lady up front was super nice even though I completely lost my voice. The nurses were nice & listened to all of my concerns very well & made sure to tell the doctor the important stuff I mentioned. The doctor took a look at everything and made sure to rule out anything serious, I love the environment and how fast & quality wise they are. Will definitely be coming back here for further issues. Thank you so much to all of the staff

I hope the treatment they give is always returned to them. And may their days be as a good as they are. Don't waste your time coming here. Couldn't even get signed in (should be easy) but the RECEPTIONIST wanted to know specifically why i there...obviously to see a doctor! Why she a Receptionist needs to know more than that is beyond me. Also in front of the whole waiting room? Where is the confidentiality? The waiting room and receptionist have no reason to hear why I'm specifically there. Typical El Paso treatment

Experience was nice and friendly. The staff showed that they cared and made my daughter feel comfortable as much as possible. They only down side is that I made an appointment so I didn’t have to wait too long. The wait was about and hour and half.

I am so thankful for the team at MedPost. My regular fp was swamped with covid issues and couldn’t see me so I made an appointment here. The entire team was so compassionate and helpful with my medical issue. I felt like I was in the best hands. They even handled my follow-up care. Everyone from the front staff to the medical team went above and beyond. So very grateful!!

Dr. Reed was very professional and diagnosed me and sent my medication to Walgreens in a timely matter. My over all experience was great. Very clean
