The medialunas (croissants) are good and served warm, although the size is a lot smaller than an average croissant. However, the charm of this place lies on the ability to spend a nice hang out with friends or family after an afternoon at the beach in La Barra. They have outdoor seating that is very casual with large tables for 6+ people and there is a stage with a DJ and sometimes a live singer entertaining the crowd. The ambiance is great!

As "Medialunas calentitas" (warm half-moon-pastries), it only respects the "warm" aspect and the shape of the product. They also have stuffed "medialunas" which I wanted to try because I like some with different fillings. Compared to other pastries shops, the size is relatively small but the taste is good. The stuffed ones have less demand, and they have no problem in selling you OLD and DRY ones to a higher price, because of the filling. Yes, they weren't fresh baked. I bought one juice to have something to drink, and together with the 6 pastries (4 plain and 2 stuffed) I paid US$12! They were the most expensive of my entire life! Needless to say, I'll never buy there again.

Great medialunas! Served straight from the oven. The ambient is nice and very young and beachy, with some reggeaton music playing. Overall very good recommendation!

Best restaurant in town. Our host, Macarena, was really nice and made us feel like home. A must-visit when in Punta del Este!!!

A mainstay of Punta del Este. If you visit Punta, you should go here at least once. Stick to the medialunas, liquados, and cappuccinos in my opinion. The rest isn't bad at all, but you might as well eat what is known for.

Incredible! The medialunas were so good that I think I had 6.

Great little quirky place to stop off for some lunch or little afternoon pit stop. Friendly staff.

OMG! We had to go there twice during the week, because we did not believe how good the medialunas were! The place was sort of empty, so they let us stay with our mate outside.
