You can bargain for the water taxi. We got it to be 8$ per person with boat taking us to the rock and waiting for us to jump off the top couple of times. Then taking us to the beach and picking us up later in the day. Originally they wanted 30$. Water is deep and the jump is super fun! Sometimes waves are high and they won’t let you go to the beach so maybe call in advance!

Gorgeous beach and awesome snorkeling! Cheap 5 min ride on a water taxi to get there and they come back to pick you up when your ready. Soft sand, crystal blue water and AMAZING views! 10/10!

You cannot walk here. Google maps is outdated. They have built resorts at the end of the walking path so the only way to get to the area is by a boat. You can’t walk through the resorts unless you stay there. You can hit up lovers beach, pelican rock, the arch all on one boat ride. Tell the taxi to come back in an hour to pick you back up. You can catch a water taxi by the dock, just ask them for fare

It was awesome! I jumped off it three times! I recommend it! Just be careful not to slip. You will get cut or hurt if you don't grip right.

This is a really good snorkeling place. It was a quick jump in and the rope that decides it all is quite nice. Fish will be very friendly here, and sea lions are known to lay on the rock! I was able to jump off, but police might ticket you!

Might be one of the best snorkeling spots in Cabo. It's at least as good as Santa Maria Cove and Chileno Bay, both much longer boat rides up the Sea of Cortez coast. A concession was renting snorkeling equipment right on the beach the day I took a water taxi from the port to the site.

My wife and I took a private boat tour here on 12/10/2020. The sea life is stunning. Beautiful colorful fish near this rock. Lots of Pelican's and of course, people.

Beautiful spot with snorkeling. Not as busy as Lovers/Divorces Beachs. Bring a cooler and cervezas with you. Sunblock wouldn't hurt either!

My husband did his Scuba diving out here and he loved it. Had a chance to see many different fish and whales

I took a water taxi that took me on a tour of the Pelican Rock plus the other areas all the way up to the arche. I would suggest taking g one of the fully glass bottom boats you'll see more. You will recognize them because the entire boat is clear not just a rectangular window in the bottom of the boat

Pelican Rock and the surrounding water is simply fantastic, especially if you want to snorkel or dive. The rocks provide a bit of an enclosure for you to be able to swim easily. The species of fish you will find are plentiful and you will not miss out seeing hundreds of fish literally. Easy water taxi ride over and well worth it. By far one of the best areas to swim in the ocean, especially if you aren’t looking for the typical Beach with vendors. Do NOT miss Pelican Rock when visiting Cabo San Lucas!

Great to come here and see the rock. Tour is only $20. As an American that just moved to Mexico this was a really fun thing to do.

Beautiful beach, but beware of going in the water. The locals will happily rent you snorkelling gear without even mentioning the jellyfish which are cut up by the the props of all the water taxies. Their tentacles then float near the surface and are very difficult to see. I recommend wearing at minimum a long sleeve rash guard/swim shirt if you want to snorkel, but ideally you should cover as much exposed skin as possible. If you feel any stings (feels like like a localized electric shock), get out of the water immediately as you will likely get stung more. My dad and I were stung multiple times and experienced severe allergic reactions which ruined the last few days of our trip - burning skin, strong flu symptoms (headache, body ache, runny nose and sneezing), and red chickenpox-like marks. Days later I am still experiencing delayed reactions of extreme itchiness of the sting areas. Its not worth the risk to go snorkelling. Especially for kids or the elderly.

Was a great place to swim and see fish. Only boat access from main port.

This is the go-to spot for cruise passengers and expats to enjoy crystal clear water, great fish, and even a sea lion or two. If your visiting bring your own beer ($100mx a can st the beach). Also, super important. You need to clean your own trash. Be respectful and this place will continue to be amazing.

We took a little boat ride out. It was wonderful. People were snorkeling but the water is pretty rough. Lover's Beach was unreal crowded. Glad we just chose yo boat tour.
