Went through the drive thru during the pandemic and ordered the gyro meal with fries and a drink and got a side of cheese sauce for fries. The amount of food received was awesome, the gyro was huge and there were lots of fries and service was fast. My only wish is that the cheese sauce cup was bigger for how many fries were given. Since it was an upcharge to get the sauce, I implore you to stand out from other big chain places. I will definitely go back again, worth every dollar.

I like my gyros meaty and substantial and the gyro wrap did not disappoint! Also got the jester's melt and meatball sandwich. Both were as expected. I'd definitely come here again for some quick eats!

Outstanding food! At very reasonable price. Don’t eat at the McDonald’s next door, when you can and should be supporting local business! I know you’ll enjoy your meal as I did. 🙏

What happened to their Gyros? I've been going out of way for years to Jesters for their Gyros. Always good quality and great tasting gyros. Went there last week and order my usual. However, this time you could tell this wasn't the same gyro meat that they have used for years. This was sliced thinner, had very little flavor and was definitely not the same. Hopefully, this was a supply issue where they couldn't get their usual meat. If this is their new gyro, I'm going elsewhere.

Best food in Elgin. Great staff and service. They made my boy the jester melt fire i threw em a curveball with a triple cheese burger with bacon n jalapeños n and everything on it huge monster amazingly great

Jesters is way overpriced now. You can get the same tamales from Woodmans that they use. Whole pack of 10 is $6.29. Jesters is charging $3 a piece which makes it $30. A little high don't you think?

The atmosphere is nice and the employees are very nice however extremely overpriced for the quality of the food it's very plain not seasoned basic food you can get better food at Burger King or McDonald's to be honest I got the shrimp dinner and it was a good portion size for $9.50 I got a lot of shrimp a good amount of fries a delicious piece of garlic bread and I would say too small of a portion of coleslaw. I believe this business would do better if they had Combos and everything wasn't a la carte but we ended up getting food poisoning everybody who went there so I think they use the same old grease time and time again on top of that we ordered for 6 bucks jalapeno poppers and they gave us four little poppers for $6 we went back up and asked if we could exchange them for onion rings instead and the owner was definitely accommodating but wasn't happy about it but they should have a sign that says you're going to pay $6 for four poppers or you can pay $5.50 for a bunch of onion rings it doesn't make sense they're pricing they'll give you large portions for like $9 and then small portions for the same price. A lot of restaurants will have items in parentheses on how many poppers or mozzarella sticks you get had I known it was four jalapeno poppers for $6 I would have ordered something else like the onion rings jalapenos cost nothing even with today's inflation it should not be $6 for four poppers. The service was good but I wouldn't recommend the food and for the price of $17 for one person's meal you can go eat at a restaurant and get Top Notch quality basically it's a dying business that needs to ramp up what they're doing change up the recipes or add combos try to change the menu up a bit to get new or more customers the ambience inside though was very nice and aesthetic

I just wanted to take a minute and say thanks for the outstanding service we received passing through on our way home to Minnesota. The service and hospitality was outstanding, the food was timely and our overall experience will not be forgotten. If you get a chance, swing by this great little place.

Really Like Jesters, food is really Good. I normally order the Italian Combo and last visit got the Oven Brown Potatoes which were very good indeed. I hear the fried Green Beans are very tasty so next time I'm ordering those. Their Onion Rings are very good and not those ground up onions shaped like rings. Good Food For Sure!!

This place is a staple in elgin. I have gotten to know the owners and I always come here for my gyros and burgers. The staff is very friendly and make my food quickly. I recommend the gyros, burgers, hot dogs, shakes and the crinkle cut fries are the best. Highly recommend to anyone!

I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to for years to come!! Amazing family that owns the restaurant-they are always so nice! The quality of food remains top notch even through these crazy times. My daughter and I love their ribs… 😋Hope Jesters stays forever!

Walked in ,5 minutes before they closed. All they asked was if we could take it to-go. Made us a gyro, steak sandwich, hot dog, fresh fries too, all after they cleaned up and were ready to leave. Those guys were great!

The food here is very good. The service is top notch. Great family that owns the location. The shish kabob platter will knock your socks off!

I've loved this place for Years. All the appetizers are delicious, homemade quality foods such as their Beef! Homemade BBQ, homemade salamoura, soups. Fresh cut salads everyday. Juan behind the inside counter is 100% at cooking to perfection and making the order spot on to every request. They do not skimp on portions. Family owned and loved by everyone in town for their amazing service and overall fun personalities. This is the Only place I order a beef from. They take care of Every person that orders there. There's no place better

Love this place. Have been going there for over a decade and it’s always great food. The owner and his staff are so kind. The atmosphere isn’t fast foody. The desserts are always top notch. Im always glad they’re around!

Absolute absolutely filthy dirt... Saturday at around noon the tables were filthy the garbage can flap had dry ketchup on it the floor was dirty... We received our food with a big black hair in it... When we told them they were extremely nice and replace the meal but it was very dirty...

Love their gyro sandwich. Very generous serving. We get an extra pita and share. Their burgers are very good, too.

Tried JESTERS for the first time today - and the food was AMAZING! So fresh! We tried the gyro sandwich + chicken kabob plate. Both were delicious and we will definitely become new regulars at Jesters! Peter at the front counter was very helpful!

The food is phenomenal. I get the shish kabobs and let me tell you....what a meal! The service though takes it over the top too. Family owned & they always remember you. I go here once a week!

One the best gyros I've ever had!! It was soooooo delicious. I went to Spankys 40 years ago when I first worked in Elgin an dont remember it being this dam good. Onion rings were also a knock out!! Thanks Spankys I'll be back soon!!

Been visiting this great eatery for many years and have never been disappointed. Mostly use the drive thru but occasionally will dine inside. Fast service either way you choose . Always friendly and welcoming!

My gyro meat was cut right off the spit and pita was warmed on grill top. The tyzeki sauce was flavorful, tomatos were fresh and the meat was plentiful. The French fries were super crispy, the way I love them. Great menu filled with a variety of food choices. Stop in.

Great place for fast food. A variety of entrees and sides. We've never eaten there before but it seems like a place we would visit regularly back home. The only drawback was how far it is from us.

Hit or miss. But the owner and his family are nice. Plus been coming here for years. The gyro is good. Salads are yummy.

We ordered grilled cheese for the kids, a Cajun chicken sandwich, and a chocolate shake, and they accidentally handed us someone else’s order, and when we tried to give it back they said for health reasons they couldn’t take it back, so we got their order on top of ours, and it was all delicious, and I made a point to leave a nice review to offset any potential bad reviews that could arise from the other party 😁 as the wise philosopher Hannah Montana once said, everybody makes mistakes, and in this case the mistake was very tasty. We’ll definitely be back!

I have been going to Jesters for years, always greeted with familiar faces and amazing service! I absolutely love that they sell two kinds of dressings for salads and can be used to marinate as well! Anytime I crave amazing soup or a Gyro, Jesters is the place! They have amazing food and I have never had a problem with the service or the food! Even recently moving to South Elgin, I will still drive to Jesters because I know I will never be disappointed! Amazing family that treats customers as family!

They have the best fast food around. The menu has a huge variety of anything you may be in the mood for. The people that work and own the place are awesome!!!

First off, the staff is great! They're personable, listen, offer suggestions and great cooks! We order from Jester's once a week and always enjoy our meal, so we decided to cater Mother's Day from them. We ordered italian beef, greek and bbq rotisserie chicken, greek oven brown potatoes and a garden salad. It was all delicious! I'm not a huge BBQ fan myself, but I could eat that bbq chicken again and again! If you haven't been there yet, give them a try!
