Fantastic campground on the lake of Elingamite. Plenty of slightly sloped land and some levelled spots. Accessible for RV’s and caravans (we have a 22ft van). Quiet spot with fantastic views of the farm hills and lake. Lots of black swans in the water. Lake is a bit too shallow on the jetty to fish. I believe it is a donation camp ground with a maximum 3 nights. 10 minute drive to Cobden which has grocery stores, cafes, dump point and water.

Fantastic Area. Spoke to the owner of the fishing club onsite at the ground and he doesn't mind people staying additional nights as long as people don't take advantage. Firepits are permitted but clean up afterwards. Grounds are owned by Parks Vic whom do come inspect the area. The Old fella who runs the club maintains the ground and has left a donations box so I strongly encourage those who stay to leave a bit of money for him. Toilet is plumbed onsite but doesn't always flush so please respectfully use a bucket. Also need to be prepared to be sharing the campground with Cows!

Great little campsite far enough from the GOR to be peaceful. Nice lake with a jetty and a single toilet available for use. There is a small covered area with a table that had a donations box mounted on a post.

A short drive from Cobden is the low rimmed crater lake with a concrete boat ramp. Self-contained camping is available for a maximum stay of three days. Camping areas are well maintained, and shady with mature cypress pines and some native trees. A quiet area for a relaxing night.

Great camping spot. Been here before years ago, but, never camped here. Lovely grassed area. Forget fishing if you haven’t a boat. Lake is surrounded by mud and weeds and only water access is by the boat ramp. Very peaceful and quiet. Only one other camper here. Camp fees are by donation. Camp ground is maintained by local volunteers, so make sure you leave a donation

Great camping spot, required a cash donation because volunteers help maintain the site. There is a toilet but the flush is meh. Good flat areas under the trees and some on the grass near the lake.

Lovely grassy areas to camp with plenty of trees for shade. Small playground, bins for rubbish, shelter shed, toilet was closed. Pretty lake would be great for kayaks. Close to Codben which has a supermarket etc. Poor TV reception, marginal phone reception was just OK. Donation requested
