A Gem in Elizabeth City that’s truly worth finding is Eddy’s shop! He takes the time to visit and chat, helpful exploring his customers’ interests. He has a wide array for fans of jewelry, rocks and fossils; you could think of it as a Museum from which you can take a treasure home at great prices! My family and I are already making plans to come back.

I love the array of gemstones in the jewelry shop and the many ways Eddy displays his craftsmanship. The most fun is watching the kids have such fun as they learn from Eddy about their finds during their own mining experience. Uncle Gemstone is a rare find in a small town and we are fortunate to have him and his talent in our small town. Kids and adults love going to the mining "spot". I love the turquoise jewelry I bought.

I love Eddys way of educating everyone on mining and the gems he finds! We have been going there for years now. My grandson loves it there!! Now for me!! I’m addicted to his beautiful jewelry. I take my grandkids there to mine for gemstones and they love it. Eddy is always so friendly and explains each stone so they know what they have. I have also bought items from the gift shop and couldn't be happier with my purchases.

We love going here! Been 5 or 6 times and always have a blast mining for gems. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable. He also has so many things to buy if you dont want mine ur own. I can't wait till it warms up so we can take the grandbabies next time as they will love it!

Eddie is a great guy and makes amazing jewlery. I have quite few pieces including a ring he made for my husband to give me on our anniversary. Definitely worth the time to go check him out!!!
