This is my home gym. I have a few issues. One the customers keep moving the equipment like it's their personal gym and none of the staff says anything. Two, the biggest issue is they clean while the customers are working out. I understand the whole covid, and I can see if they clean the equipment when no one is on it, but vacuuming while you are working out is a distraction. You can trip over the cord or, worse, drop a weight on your foot because the cleaning lady is a distraction. I specifically brought it to the attention of the manager, and she had an attitude and told me that covid is why they are cleaning. So my thing is, why can't they vacuum before the gym opens and/or when it closes? Look at the pictures. She is wiping down the machine as the customer is working out on it. She could have easily gotten hurt or distracted the customer, causing the customer to hurt herself. If you work out a lot, you know the concentration it takes to lift heavy. You, as a loyal customer, do not need unnecessary distractions. Not good.

Dirty. Trash strewn on the floors. No spray bottles to wipe down equipment. Locker rooms in total disarray. Showers were disgusting. You know you're in the wrong area when they have to have security outside flashing their lights for hours on end. And no. I will not call the manager. There's a review here. Others can see and choose to go elsewhere.

If its Not Gay men following you in the Restroom Staring Intimidating Straight men and wearing inappropriate attire and getting Way to close its Young men stealing and going thru people lockers and taking their belongings while no one is looking. Get in do your workout and Bounce! Unpleasant Environment Oan. The Workers and Staff are good people their busy doing their work so cant blame them most of them are nice people 9-21 Still an uncomfortable environment.

Great gym staff is very friendly, I was doubtful at first watching reviews on YouTube but learned fast you need to see for yourself. Also other people in gym is extremely friendly. 5 stars 🌟 so far.

I moved and changed my plan from planet fitness to this gym, I am very surprised because I have as a reference the aroma and cleanliness 10/10 but when I arrive at this place it always remains impregnated with a bad smell, the water filter is not clean and additional is deteriorated, the attention of the staff at the reception of some is not at all cordial. I make the comment so that they can improve those shortcomings, not to criticize.

Too crowded. Not enough space. Cleanliness is a little off. But for the price you can't ask for much.

The location is clean. That’s about the only positive thing that can be said about it. Absolutely no enforcement of posted signs about putting weights back correctly, not taking them to other rooms, and absolutely no enforcement of the no phone calls policy. The place is cheap and it shows in the care of the staff. I wouldn’t continue to come here if there was actually another option in the area.

Be careful when opening an account with them cause they will charge an additional $51 the following month. It’s happened to 4 different people including myself. They did not say I will be getting charged extra. Their excuse was it’s planet fitness policy. But nowhere in the policy does it say that!

They have a huge problem getting machines fixed in a timely manner. There are four stair machines and these two have both been broken over a month. It’s a joke.

Nice gym. I’ve come at all different times and it’s never overly busy so you can always get a treadmill or machine. Very clean. Haven’t tried the other amenities yet. Coming in off of Broad Street can be annoying if you drive behind the gym on Pennsylvania St it’s easier to enter.

Dishonest billing practices, overcrowding, whats not to like? Well its the closest to an underserved area which, when times at a premium, is important. The staff cares more than I would expect about their jobs and keeping the spaces clean.

I like to jump rope when I want to get a quick cardio. But, I was once approached by a guy who claimed to be the manager and told Me jump rope was not allowed and asked me to stop. Yet, I have been seeing others (men) jumping ropes and no one had said a word to them. I feel if they going to have rules it should be applied equally.

April 6,2022 I am on a business trip and since I don't like hotel gyms, I got a daypass for this gym. PARKING : It can be rough to find but I got lucky EMPLOYEES: The lady at the desk was super nice !!!!! I was happy about that!!! GYM : Clean overall with plenty of machines. Maybe smaller then many Planet fitness I have visited but it has all u need for a full workout

I like it. It's nice and clean. The shower has where to sit. That better.

I really like this gym. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only suggestion I would make is to increase the number of lighter free weights. The 30lbs and below are always in use while there are full racks of heavy weights that seem unused.

Stop charging me! I've tried to cancel many times, I've called numerous times no answer or rerun phone calls and sent a letter. CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP! Do not go to Planet Fitness they are a Fraud.

It's a good gym for the money. If you want luxury go somewhere else. This works for a lot of people, because it has what it's needed and low cost. Highly recommended. 👌

Location is big, and has most of the machines required for a workout. It’s a little lacking on the free weights department, but for $10 a month, you can’t go wrong. Facility looks clean, parking lot is big, and staff is friendly and accommodating. It’s no LA Fitness, but worth a trip to consider and worth the ten dollars a month. Check it out and ask for a tour to see if it fits your needs.

Let me start by saying I’m not usually a fan of planet fitness. This one is close to where I moved to and I was thoroughly impressed. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the gym was extremely clean, the patrons were cleaning up after themselves and restocking the weights, everyone was friendly and courteous and respectful of your personal space. Good crowd, nobody was Loitering around or occupying a machine while glued to their phones. This planet fitness got it right. Def going back and possibly making this my home gym. Very impressed. The ladies at the front desk were professional, friendly and courteous. That’s not usually the case in most planet fitness gyms. Definitely and highly recommend this gym.

I'm new to Planet Fitness and I have to tell you it's absolutely awesome, the machines go on for days no matter what you're looking for PF have it. It's never too crowded & the workout floor is always clean & tidy. The staff are friendly & helpful. I got a Black Card Membership, this allows me to bring a friend everytime I workout, I also get to use the Aquamassager and the Full Body Chair Massager as well. Highly Recommend you check them out.

Nothing says planet fitness quite like jacking around on multiple pieces of equipment drug from every corner of the gym for hours on end. I usually love PF, maybe I'm just spoiled by how nice the ones are by my house. Shout-out to the guy wearing a "gym reaper" tank top while using a foam pad and a belt to squat only 160 on a smith machine. 🤦🏼‍♂️

This gym is fine. Too many people at any given time, probably due to the cheap monthly fee they charge., so it’s expected. The bad thing about this location is the parking lot. The people asking for money and the people who would break your window to steal things from your car. I would suggest having someone on payroll that can essentially be the security for the parking lot. Maybe just have the employees take turns walking around outside. Help to deter the theft and make thieves eventually leave this particular lot alone. The 3/5 rating is more about the lot than the gym. I would have given the gym 4 stars for those who don’t care about the parking lot.

Please enforce the rules of the gym, people use multiple weights which leaves other people without equipment, people are not returning equipment to the designed areas and they are all over the gym. It’s fine if it’s just a few weights but all the weights are gone

If all of a sudden a rule is going to be enforced that crocks aren’t allowed then an email to customers should have been sent. Lack of customer communication is horrendous.

My friend invited me to go and workout and I said sure. My experience was pretty much neutral. You come workout then go. If you need a workout then I will suggest going at night when it's not too packed in.

Everything is good, you have all the machines to workout! I want to know for what are these steps for?

Staff service has always been rude here but lately they have been going against their advertised closing times. For example I came by at 9:35 (gym closes at 10 pm) and the doors were already locked. A few members stood outside of the gym trying to get their attention to let us in but we were flatly ignored. I get the feeling that all staff hate their jobs and just want to leave, F the paying customers… Now on the day before thanksgiving they close up shop at 9 PM with no notice on the app or signs outside. The gym seemed to packed once 9 PM and they tossed all of the members out like it was nothing. I go on to call the Linden Planet Fitness and they’re open until 10 PM as scheduled, with a seemingly professional staff member answering the call. Elizabeth Newark Ave planet fitness is becoming trash, but I guess that is what $10/month gets you. I’ll be switching gyms if this doesn’t improve soon.

My first experience with this gym was my last experience with this gym, I work fairly close to this location and one day I decided to go check it out and see if it was a good fit for me. When I arrive I approached the front desk and asked the front desk employee if he could help me with my app, he begins to assume I wanted to workout that day and tells me there’s a dress code and then asked me if I had a change of clothes in a very snobby condescending way, I said no because I’m just coming to tour the gym because I just left from work and wasn’t prepared to workout that day anyway, I said to him okay I’m only here to tour the gym and I told him that other gyms don’t have a strict dress code like theirs and that I wasn’t going to argue or go back and forth about there policies at this location. After that I begin to tour the gym and it was very broken up into different rooms and felt small so my immediate decision was to go find another location. Overall customer service was poor and the setup is inconvenient.

I go here about 4-6 days a week. It tends to get busy from 7-9am every day. They do an overall good job maintaining the place.

rubbish service, I came to try to make my exchange and the attendant simply didn't look me in the face and kept looking at his cell phone without knowing how to help me or even help me. useless and rude to customers I don't recommend it to anyone, terrible service!!!

This location was not opened on time. There was about 50 people waited at the entrance @ 5:30 AM on 2/16. At least 30 vehicles waited and left over the course of the 30 mins I waited.

The bathrooms are filthy especially the showers and sink area . I even come early in the morning and it seems like they don't even bother cleaning up the facility at times. The locker room needs improvement.

Friendly and very helpful staff, clean and spacious place with a lot of equipment & parking .

Pros: This location is very clean and so are the locker rooms. There are disinfectant sprays and paper towels in every corner which I love. SOME of the staff members are very nice and helpful. Cons: Very tiny gym and not many machines- so you’re forced to wait until people are done (the more commonly used machines) I would like to see more mats in the stretching room as well You get what you pay for but I would highly recommend the black card because some locations are busier than others- this one is very busy in my opinion whether it’s peak hours or not but then again, it’s a small gym.

I don't know about other locations but here it seems they have very little ethical hiring processes. The staff seems to be most of the time in a bad mood or in a non customer service disposition. And the manager? Well, let's just say you can tell who the leader is by its employees. They also tell you one price in the advertisements but then they charge you more fees at signup. Also their practices inside of the gym is very limiting. What to wear, how to use the equipment, etc... Thankfully I discovered retro fitness and they are much much more tolerant and willing to help. It's also much bigger, better machines, they won't sound an alarm when you drop a weight or tell you that your workout isn't following their rules when you are getting into it with intensity. I mean I want to get ripped and grow some muscle mass not comply comply comply. I can't speak for other planet fitnesses but this one is not really a very good location. I mean they take their gym culture way too far and it just doesn't make sense. That and their billing practices are just out of control. Spend a little bit more going to an actual gym than falling prey to their seemingly eye catching offer only to be surprised when you actually start going there.

The sinks in the men's bathroom are not deep enough. In between the faucet and bottom of the sink is like 3 inches. Just to wash your hands you fold your hands upwards if not you will be touching someone's snot. It's a dumb design

Professional, clean great place to work out!!! Tv’s every where. They have alway keep the place clean but even more since Covid-19. I am update my review. I still feel the same. 10/14/21 I went back. Update: 3/1/23 still Love this Gym. New machines great but why did you take away the arch trainer? Please go back to 24hrs. That was the main reason I joined. If I really want to go after work it’s to Bayone or Hoboken or switch Gyms

This gym is wonderful. They constantly repair and replace equipment. The staff is friendly and they keep the place clean and neat.

Had requested to use another location (Union/Vauxhall) for a week while I was on vacation. Was granted. On my last day I was told that I wasn’t supposed to be there and was ushered out by a “Sebastian” on orders from the manager, Georgette, as if I were a criminal. This was a most uncomfortable/embarrassing situation and a defamation of character. As I went through various representatives, I ended up speaking to an operations manager, “ Benny”. Was denied all forms of requested compensation outside of a meager 1 month for free. Was also denied any type of apology from the Union/Vauxhall location He stated that the employees involved were “spoken to” In addition, he stated that he would be happy to just cancel my membership. This is most unacceptable for a management staff for any company…

Amazing place. The short gentleman with the mustache and the other with the flat top are always doing their best to provide a welcoming and judgement free environment for all the costumers and they go above and beyond for all. English is not my first language so I was nervos that they wouldn’t be able to help but the one with the mustache was very helpful in getting my membership set up. Amazing staff

The water fountain has been in terrible condition for months. One of the most used quad machines has been broken for months, and another broke too. The place is not properly maintained.
